Adventure Time: Shadow Elemental(Ownership has been handed over)

I knew that day felt weird but I ignored it and I died, but I never imagined I would be thrown into the world of Adventure Time almost 800 years before the events of the show as a shadow, a shadow will some neat tricks. Now that I'm here guess I should adventure. [|------|] This will be kingdom building and slice of life story for almost all the time before the events of the show, there will be action whenever I can make up a scenario that makes some inkling of sense. There will be time skips alot as I doubt you guys want me to write 700 years worth of content, and I'm incapable of coming up with enough content for that anyway. I aint creative enough for that Very fast paced romance too, not good at writing sappy stuff and just want to get it out of the way, oh and one more thing- NO HAREM. I hate harem with an undying passion, don't even ask for it. [Note: The ownership of this fanfic has been handed over to a friend of mine, who is currently rewriting it. So look out for that]

Italic text like this, are the mc's thoughts that are accessible to everything in his mind.

Normal text like this is the mc describing what he or others are doing, a sort of pseudo-omniscient narrator that is himself.

"Text like this is people talking."

The sun had barely risen, casting a warm glow over the quiet suburban neighborhood. I groggily stumbled out of bed, stretching my limbs and feeling the familiar ache of muscles protesting against the early hour. It was just another day in my mundane existence.

As I went through my usual routine of brushing my teeth and getting dressed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of dissatisfaction. Life had become a predictable cycle of school, a shitty part time job, and endless responsibilities that my deadbeat of a father doesn't take care of. I yearned for something more, an adventure to break free from the chains of routine.

But for now, there was nothing I could do. Maybe one day I would make it big and have the freedom to do whatever I wanted, then get bored of that, but until then I am stuck in this monotonous existence. I left my run-down house, ignoring my drunken father passed out on the living room couch.

Walking down the familiar streets, I noticed something peculiar. The world around me seemed subtly different, as if reality had shifted ever so slightly. Colors appeared more vibrant, and the sounds of the city were amplified. It was strange, but I brushed it off as exhaustion from staying up late the previous night.

Lost in my thoughts, I failed to notice a group of shadowy figures lurking in the alleyway ahead. As I turned the corner, a chill ran down my spine. The figures, cloaked in darkness, seemed to pulsate with an ominous energy. Fear gripped my heart, and I instinctively took a step back.

The figures suddenly lunged forward, their eyes glowing with an eerie light. Panic surged through my veins as I realized the danger I was in. Without thinking, I sprinted down the street, desperate to escape the clutches of my pursuers. Adrenaline pumped through my body, pushing me to my limits.

As I darted through the maze-like streets, my mind raced with questions. How had I ended up in this nightmare? What did these beings want from me? But there was no time for answers. Survival became my sole focus.

With each passing moment, the shadows closed in, their presence suffocating. My legs burned, and my breath grew ragged. It felt as if my body was about to give up, surrendering to exhaustion. But the will to live pushed me forward, driving me to find a way out.

Finally, I stumbled upon an abandoned building, its door slightly ajar. Desperation fueled my actions as I rushed inside, hoping to find refuge. The interior was dimly lit, with dust particles dancing in the air. The silence was deafening, broken only by the sound of my own heartbeat.

As I caught my breath, my eyes fell upon a peculiar object lying on the floor. It was a small, glowing crystal, emanating a soft, ethereal light. Without hesitation, I reached out and touched it. In that instant, an intense surge of energy coursed through my body.

The world around me shattered. Reality twisted and contorted, as if the very fabric of existence was being torn apart. My vision blurred, and my body felt weightless, as if suspended in mid-air. I was being pulled into a void, a place beyond comprehension.

In that brief moment, I couldn't help but think about the recent disappearances that had been happening in the city. Was this the cause? But before I could ponder further, consciousness slipped away, and when I awoke, everything had returned to normal, except for one thing—I was nowhere to be found, gone another victim to whatever is doing this.

As their eyes snap open, a mix of confusion and disbelief floods their senses. Instead of waking up from a dream, they find themselves suspended in an empty void, weightless and disoriented. "What in the world..." they mutter to themselves, struggling to find their bearings amidst the unfamiliar surroundings.

Suddenly, their attention is drawn to the countless figures around them. Materializing out of thin air, the figures are pure white and just as bewildered as they are. The sheer number of them is staggering, stretching as far as the eye can see. They glance down at themselves and realize that they are one of them, adorned in the same ethereal appearance.

In an instant, a colossal figure materializes before them, dwarfing their existence. It scans each and every one of them with a penetrating gaze, causing a wave of fear to ripple through the crowd. A chilling silence louder than the void itself descends upon them.

Without warning, the figure's scrutiny causes the white figures to glow a haunting shade of red. They writhe in agony, desperately clawing at their bodies before disintegrating into nothingness.

Time becomes a blur as the number of beings diminishes, leaving only a handful of them remaining. The god-like figure looms over them, its gaze piercing through their very souls. They brace themselves for the inevitable, expecting to share the same fate as the others.

Instead of glowing red, they are enveloped in a mysterious, pulsating black aura. The god-like figure's simple blank expression changes to a small smile. In the blink of an eye, all the remaining beings vanish, leaving only them and the enigmatic figure. And their consciousness slips once again.
