The female one responded surprising the male. The female then gave him a sad look which he understood. They already lost their child so they were what they had left, well the 'treasure' of the dragon god was also what they 'had' too in a way as they 'protected' it. But in the end, it wasnt theirs.

He just sighted and nodded his head. Mc was happy that everything was already done and he didnt have to fight them.

"Alright then later we will decide who goes with who. Now lets enter the cave."

They all entered the cave. The girls were talking among themselves while the dragons just kept silent. After a while they saw the end and just then some slits appeared. They were a bit similar to that of the phoenix except they were azure blue.

"Greetings. I am the primordial azure dragon. It is a pleasure to finally see someone after 1000 years. This would not had been the case unfortunately if not for the flood dragons. So tell me young ones, do any of you want to do the trial to inherit the dragon bloodline. Know that should you accept, failure shall only result in death."

His voice boomed and resounded in the whole cave.

" Dragon god, do you mean to say that here is a place to pass on your bloodline?"

The one to ask this was rhe male silver dragon. He was rather curious as to what he protected all these years.

"... Yes. This place was supposed to be a trial ground. Unfortunately, the two of you decided to guard this place, thus preventing others from trying to obtain the bloodline."

Mc went there after the others wished him good luck. He then came to another space. Only a dry and barren highland surrounded him. In the distance he could see some mountains... well he did not really care about this though.

The scenery again changed and mc waited for the guy to do his explanation.
