Episode 5: A Visit, Shidou Family, And A Girl(?)

"Shin-kun, wanna come with me, Zelel, and Griselda?" Gabriel, one of the Four Great Seraphs, asked.

Despite her being a role model of all those Angels who wanted to be a 'Great Angel', she is also a curious one. She would go out to the human world, with her escort being an exorcist named Griselda Quarta and a promising prodigy of the new generation of Angels, Zelel White Tenma.

Lately, she's also bringing Shin Flammia Tenma with her in her secret escapades. This forced Michael, the current leader of the Angel Faction, to make Griselda and Zelel follow her around. They now allowed her to go out as long as she don't try to sneak out. They see Shin as someone who could help Heaven in the near future so they don't want to take chances and lose the child.

In truth, quite a lot of them has visited the Tenma house like Gabriel. Angels like Metatron, Sandalphon, Sariel, Ramiel, and even the remaining members of the Four Great Seraphs, Michael, Uriel, and Raphael came to visit. They got the news from Gabriel about a promising human(?) having a talent on holy power that far outclassed even them, the Seraphs.

So, out of curiosity, they came to visit him. When they used their holy power to sense his talent, they were surprised to see such a very bright and pure holy power on someone that is obviously not an Angel. Metatron even took a liking to Shin. He even promised to teach Shin the 'way of the ninja' after he goes back from his 'closed door training'.

It was quite the hilarious conversation, given that the one conversing with Shin is a grown man that looks like he's suffering from a serious disease called the 8th grader syndrome. Remembering that Seraph, Shin couldn't help but smile. But, he quickly shook this thought out his head because a beautiful big sister is talking to him right now.

"Yes, Big Sis Gabriel! I'd like to go with you again!" Shin said with a bright smile on his face that shows his dimples.

"Great, now, say goodbye to your friends for now and let's go!" Gabriel said.

"Yes," Shin replied before turning around and facing his friends.

"I will be going with Big Sis Gabriel for now," Shin said.

"Take care, Shi-chan! Make sure to go back early! I still have to defeat you in old maid after all!" Raphiel said.

"That's right! You can't run away while you're ahead! Our uno match will happen tonight!" Gabrielle said.

"Gab-oneesama is right! I will finally defeat you in uno, Shin-oniisama!" Tapris added.

Due to Gabriel rarely visiting them, she sent some games for the kids to enjoy. Well, the little girls really did enjoyed it. They're quite free right now and no one is taking care of them since Murielle just gave birth to her youngest child, Haniel White Tenma.

So, Shin took it upon himself to entertain them. As a result, they got hooked on the games. What's more, these girls hate it when they lose or to put it simply, they're sore losers.

Shin gave each of them a hug and a pat on their head before he went over to Gabriel who is smiling at their interactions.

"Don't stress Mom, okay!? She just gave birth a few months ago!" Shin shouted while waving at the three little girls.

"We got it~!" all of them shouted simultaneously.

"Alright, are you ready now? Let's go, to the human world~," Gabriel said.

Gabriel and Shin disappeared from their location after Gabriel took Shin in her arms and flew towards the entrance and exit of the First Heaven. They didn't waste any time as they teleported almost immediately after they entered the place.

After the light of the teleportation circle faded, Shin and Gabriel saw two woman in front of them. These two were Zelel White Tenma and Griselda Quarta.

They have been waiting for her for some time now as they are also the one who arranged a meeting to take place in this place. Since Michael allowed her to roam around as she wished, as long as she bring Zelel and Griselda with her, she has been more involved in her work and she now have a larger contact network.

She's been dealing with the problems on the church, along with Griselda and Vasco Strada. They have started to silently plan on purging the traitors in their ranks as only the Four Great Seraphs, Vasco Strada, Griselda, and Zelel knows about this.

Because of this, they've been going around places talking to the leaders of every posts of the Church these past few months. In fact, this town of Kuoh is their last destination for this month. They decided to bring Shin this time because the superior of this place's exorcists have a child around Shin's age.

'I'm sure that Shin-kun will be happy to have another friend besides those little girls back in Heaven and those little girls that I introduced him to,' Gabriel thought, feeling giddy at witnessing Shin's cute reaction.

While Gabriel is spacing out, which she tends to do when she's in her own world, Zelel and Griselda took this chance to talk with Shin. They didn't get the chance to visit the Tenma house before and after Haniel was born, because of their busy schedule. So, they wanted to ask about the new bundle of joy that just became the new member of their family.

"So, how does she look like, Shin-kun?" Griselda asked.

"That's right! Tell me how my new little sister looks like!" Zelel said.

"Mm, little Haniel is really so cute. She would sometimes laugh when she's with me," Shin said while remembering the little girl's cute laughs.

That was his first time seeing a baby so he was quite fond of the little cutie that became their new family member. After that, they continued to talk about little Haniel and her apparent cuteness. Due to this conversation, Griselda and Zelel became excited. They now wanted to see this little bundle of happiness with their own two eyes.

A few minutes passed and they finally arrived at the house of the exorcist leader in this town. To inform them that they have arrived, Shin began to knock on the door.

*knock* *knock*

"Yeess~, coming~!" a mature woman's voice said behind the door.

*click*

The door opened and revealed a black haired woman with her hair tied into a high pony tail. She have a warm and carefree vibe around her. After opening the door, she saw Shin in front of the door. Her eyes opened up widely as she never saw such a very cute boy in her life.

"Hello young man. Do you need auntie's help on something?" she asked.

She totally didn't notice the existence of the three beautiful women behind the boy.

"Umm, we're here to visit the Shidou Family. Are you Mrs. Shidou, antie?" Shin asked while tilting his head to the side.

"Yes, I'm Shidou Maho! Are you with someone, young man?" Mrs. Shidou, now known as Maho, asked.

"Mhmm, there's my three beautiful Onee-sans behind me, you know?" Shin said.

"Eh? O-Oh, sorry for being impolite, Gabriel-sama, Griselda-sama, Zelel-sama," Maho said as she immediately bowed after seeing these three ladies in front of her.

"It's fine, it's fine~. Where is Shidou Touji, Maho-san? I can call you that, right?" Gabriel asked.

"That's right, no need to be so stiff, Maho-san. On the contrary, we should be apologizing for the sudden visit," Griselda said.

She is totally getting infected by Gabriel's carefree manner of calling people in a first name basis everytime.

"Mm, no need to be so formal to us, Maho-san," Zelel said.

Even her is slowly being 'corrupted'.

"Y-Yes, of course! My husband is inside! Why don't you come in? Oh, and my daughter is inside right now so why don't you play with her, Shin-kun?" Maho said.

She said her latter words to Shin who is just looking at the three adults while they're talking.

"Alright, let me lead you inside our humble abode, then," Maho said.

After they entered the living room, Touji Shidou can be seen standing in front of the sofa with cold sweats pouring down his face. He bowed towards Gabriel while sweating profusely.

"G-Good day to you, Gabriel-sama. What brought you to visit this place? Is it that scheduled inspection?" Touji asked.

A letter has been sent to his family just a few days ago saying something about a visit. They didn't expect one of the Four Great Seraphs to personally make a visit.

"That's right. We're here to talk about a few things. The Devil who is governing this place has been informed of our visit to you already, for the sake of formalities," Gabriel explained.

"The other Factions might think that we are plotting something against them if we secretly try to visit you here so we had to ask for permission to the person governing this place," Griselda added.

After they informed the one who governs this place beforehand about their visit, they immediately informed the Four Great Satans about it secretly. Letting this information leak out would just cause the Old Satan Faction to make a move and create a trigger for the next great war.

When they got informed, they immediately told the governor of the place to agree. The Angels informing them beforehand just meant to them that they are not here to cause trouble. Since the three current leaders of all the three factions, Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels are pacifists and likes to have peace(mostly because they don't want their brethren to suffer), they are actively avoiding to create any dispute among them.

"Shin-kun, why don't you go upstairs? My daughter is currently playing alone there so you can go and greet her," Maho said.

"Understood, Aunt Maho," Shin said as he trotted towards the stairs.

"What a cute child," Maho said while looking behind Shin's back.

Walking towards the direction that Maho gave him, Shin finally arrived at the same room. He looked at the door and lightly knocked at it.

"Hellooo?" Shin said in his currently childish voice.

Not long later, an equally childish voice answered him,

"Yeees? Who's theere?"

*clank*

The door opened, revealing a girl who's wearing a black sando and shorts. Her short brown hair is tied into a low ponytail. Her adorable big eyes have violet colored irises. Right now, those big and adorable round eyes is currently looking at Shin with her curious gaze.

"Um, who are you?" the child asked.

"I'm a visitor. Your mom told me that she has

a cute daughter upstairs so I went here to greet you," Shin said while smiling.

The girl blushed slightly after hearing his praise.

"I'm Tenma Shin Flammia, nice to meet you," Shin said with a polite bow.

The girl also bowed after seeing him bow and said,

"My name is Shidou Irina! Nice to meet you! U-Umm you wanna play inside? I have different toys here, you know?"

Shin just nodded at this and followed Irina inside her room. The adults are talking about something important below so he don't want to disturb them.

After entering the room, Shin saw a very girly room. There's the pink colored walls, white and brown colored furnishings and a lot of stuffed toys inside.

"What a cutely designed room," Shin muttered subconsciously.

"E-Eh? R-Really?" Irina asked.

"Hm? Well, yes. It suits a girl like you very much," Shin answered.

Hearing this, Irina brightened up as someone recognized her as a girl at a glance. Many boys around her thought that she's also a boy when she often play with them. It was so frustrating for the young Irina.

Meeting Shin who treats her as a girl made her feel quite close to him. Even though they just met, she felt like Shin has been her friend for a very long time now.

At first, they only started to talk, getting to know each other. Not long later, they were close enough to play games together. Irina is not the shy type of girl so she easily got along with Shin.

Thus, the two children began to play different kinds of games inside Irina's room. Shin just acted the same as how he acted around Raphiel, Gabrielle, and Tapris.

They played uno, video games, and even janken. Surprisingly or not, Irina is also a sore loser. Tears began to well up in her eyes as she is about to cry after losing continuously without winning.

Shin felt like he's bullying the gal so he came up to her and patted her head. He always does this when the three girls back in First Heaven is about to cry from losing too much. It's become something like a habit for him.

"There, there, don't cry. We will play lots of games once again so you can get your revenge at that time!" Shin said to encourage her.

"*hick* T-That's right! I will defeat you next time!" Irina declared while trying put up a tough front.

Hearing her declaration, Shin just smiled at her gently before hugging her.

"So adorable~. Mmm, Irina-chan is so cute~," Shin said.

"C-Cute!? M-Me!?" Irina said.

"Mm, Irina-chan is so cute you know?" Shin said while patting her head with a smile on his face.

Irina was baffled at the sudden intimate action. But, she didn't push him away. For some reason, she felt safe and comfortable inside his hug. Suddenly, as if to ruin the children's time, a voice interrupted them.

"Shin-kuun~, Irina-chaan~, let's eat lunch~."

It was Maho, Irina's mother.

"Yess!" both of them answered simultaneously.

Shin was the first one to stand up as he help Irina up right after.

"Let's go!" Shin said before running off while still holding her hands.

"A-Ah! Wait!"
