Chapter 8: Time Skip and Meeting Bulma Briefs

It has been 12 years since they arrived here on Earth on Age 749. Gohan decided to teach them the basics of reading and writing during that time. Which was difficult for Raditz because it was in Japanese, and he was from America in his last life. Apparently, Japanese was the primary language of this world. He still knows English, but it seemed to be a secondary language as he has to make an effort to speak it. It might come handy in the future.

His theory was since the original Raditz can already speak it, before he took over, he had absorbed the knowledge to do so too. Which was weird since he thought they were speaking in English. His mind probably worked like an automatic translator for him to understand and speak Japanese.

Kakarot and Gine have improved their power over the years with Raditz constantly sparring with them. If Raditz had to guess Kakarot would be around maybe 1,000. Gine has reached about 4,000. He wasn't really sure as he doesn't use the scouter that often anymore. He would probably use it more when Bulma gets rid of the bugged microphone, so Raditz doesn't have to constantly worry about Frieza.

Raditz had gotten stronger too, but not as much. Without being near-death and not being able to really push himself his zenkais are really not that large. Gine was surprised at how strong she had gotten and felt proud of herself. If Bardock was still here Raditz had no doubt, he would be happy, for how far his mate has come.

Kakarot has already surpassed his future counterpart when he faced the original Raditz. He was also much more knowledgeable and less naive than his counterpart as well as having better social behavior. So, he won't be going around touching people's groins to see if they're male or female. That was due to Gine, Gohan, and Raditz's hard work and lots of reading. Kakarot didn't really enjoy doing it that much, compared to fighting.

Kakarot turned 12 on April 16 while Raditz just turned 18 recently on July 11. His birthday was the same as his previous last life so that was convenient. It was funny when Gohan had to explain to Gine the concepts of birthdays. She found it kind of weird since Saiyans don't really celebrate birthdays from what he can remember in Raditz's memories.

However, she did find the concept fun and decided to celebrate their birthdays from now on. On one of Kakarot's birthdays, he was given the Nyoibō (power pole) by Gohan. While the Nyoibō is now his, Kakarot would sometimes let Raditz use it to practice staff katas.

Raditz doesn't understand why Goku would not use it in the future, not counting Xeno Goku. If it is because that it might break, then just use Ki to make it more durable. Raditz think Trunks did the same thing with his sword and he thought that it was a normal but well-made sword. Yet it managed through cut through Mecha-Frieza and Merged Zamasu like butter.

Gohan has found the four-star dragon ball a couple years ago. He found it when he was walking on his way to a city to get them more clothes beside the Saiyan armor. The Saiyan armor was tearing itself apart due to wear and old age. They threw theirs away, but Raditz kept his so he could give it to Bulma and see if she can recreate the material used.

Now Raditz just has to wait for her to show up. He knows she starts the hunt for the dragon balls sometime on Age 749, so she should be here soon. He just doesn't know exactly when. His final growth spurt came not too long ago and now he's a tall motherf**ker. Standing at 6'3, compared to his previous height of 5'9 in his last life, it was a good improvement even if he did say so myself.

Raditz was wearing a black martial arts Gi with white trims on the sleeves with of course a tail hole. He had no shirt underneath, so some of his chest was on displayed. He had a red belt wrapped around his waist with black and red boots on his feet.

-Raditz's POV-

I was outside training with the Nyoibō since I was borrowing it while Kakarot went to get a couple of big fish for lunch. It was interesting as it was not even a weapon just an elevator to get to Kami's Lookout. It does the job though as a staff that can extends and retract. My martial arts have improved over the years, so I don't fight like a brawler anymore.

"Nyoibō extend", I commanded the staff.

The red staff proceeded to extend to a tree and goes right through the tree bark to the other side. It was pretty cool seeing it person rather than seeing on a screen. I then had the Nyoibō to retract to a normal sized staff and began twirling it around to fight imaginary opponents.

After 10 minutes of shadow fighting, I stopped because I heard voices approaching Gohan's hut. Well, it can't be really called a hut anymore, since we made it bigger to accommodate us all a little bit better. One of the voices was of course Kakarot. The other was a girl's voice that sounded familiar. I assumed that it would be Bulma.

Kakarot and Bulma approached our home. Kakarot has grown a little. He was still a shrimp which sadly comes with being a Saiyan at his age. He was now wearing the purple Gi with a white belt and martial arts shoes.

I then turned to Bulma. She looked just like the anime with her blue hair tied into a braided ponytail with a red bow on top. She was very curvaceous young women, and she was cute. She was wearing a pink blouse with a brown belt that had her name across her chest. She also had a purple scarf with blue and white tennis shoes.

I then noticed that she was staring at me with a blush on her face. Oh dear. Don't get me wrong Bulma is a very smart and beautiful young woman, but she is very vain and bratty at her age. If this was at least Saiyan Saga Bulma, then I would definitely go for her. At least then she would be a little more mature in attitude. (Story for maybe another time)

If I had to choose someone, it would be Lunch (Launch) as she would the perfect girl for me. She has two personalities, so two girls for one. Plus, the blonde haired one can satisfy my Saiyan side while the blue haired one is for my human side. Also, I really want to make Raunch a thing like in MasakoX what if Raditz turned good series.

Now I just have to figure out how to go about this. While I'm not interested in her that way, I would still like to be friends with her. With her as an ally, I can get a few things made like a gravity chamber and some other things.

"Oh, Kakarot you're back and I see your brought back lunch. Who's your friend?" I turned back to Kakarot as I can see him dragging three humongous fish behind him.

"Hey Raditz. Yeah, I brought loads of food for us to enjoy", Kakarot returned my greeting.

He then turned to Bulma. "This is Bulma. She came here looking for something."

I then address Bulma. "Is that right? Well, Bulma it is nice to meet you."

I extend my hand towards her. Bulma snapped out of her blushing state and smiled at my polite greeting.

"Yes, it's nice to meet you too Raditz", she said

"So, Bulma did my little brother cause you any trouble?" I asked as I was curious if there meeting was still the same. It shouldn't be after all the manners we put into his thick skull. Kakarot pouted at my comment.

She shook her head no. "No, he was very polite even after I hit him accidently with my car."

I raised my eyebrow at her. So that still happened huh. Good to know. Bulma looked a little sheepish at my facial expression.

I shook my head and then asked her, "would you like to join us for dinner? You can explain why you're here while we eat inside. We don't get many visitors this way out in Mt. Paozu."

She agreed and I then yelled, "MOM! WE HAVE A GUEST! SET ANOTHER PLATE FOR HER!"

After I heard mother say okay, I then gestured for her to follow me and Kakarot into the house. I knew things were going change after this conversation.
