A Reincarnator's Journey

David Valor, a normal sophomore student, dies in a cliche 'truck-kun' accident just to get sent to another world by the system! Using the 'true' system, he slowly rises to the top of the food chain before truly begining his adventure! (David may not be a "Good" Mc as I want to write it in a way of what I would do if I was in this situation myself. Of course there will also be some things different than what I think as well.) *** Note: I have no real plans for this story, it was made on a whim, so it may lose quality on the way, please read with caution! Schedule: I'm still in school so updates will also be somewhat slow, also, english is not my first language so please comment if I wrote something wrong! Thank you for reading!

Bennett's Progress

"Oh shoot! I forgot about that..." Bennett swiped up, revealing the interface to both of them.

(A/N: For humans, as I said, it's mostly their jobs/classes that evolve and grow to make them stronger. Due to humans being unable to effectively absorb things imbued with mana or be unable to eat other humans, they're generally weaker than the other races. From the system's view, although the attribute points could match up to David, the multiplier would make the biggest difference. Ex: 1 Vit for David = 5 hp, 1 Vit for Bennett = 2 hp.)

Bennett was extremely shocked, but David had expected this, after all, they had just been grinding mobs that were two whole tiers above Bennett.

With Bennett's wish to become a strong swordsman, David gave him some advice and let him make his own choice.

"Eh... I thought you would get much more than that..." David commented beside him.

"What'd you mean? I did get more..." Bennett blinked.

"... What." David stared back at him.

"You didn't know? I asked the system before, and it told me that because I am now one of the users of a system under you, I gained another option of gaining attribute points through leveling up." he explained.

"Ok... tell me how you humans get your points then? I'm too lazy and tired to ask an emotionless system, so you'll do." he waved casually.

He deadpanned and sighed, "Sure... from the system's standpoint, when a human levels up, they only get their attributes from the bonus of their class. Although I'm just a beginner swordsman, there are several nobles who don't have the talent for it, so bloodline and classes are what decides talent."

He looked back at David to see if he was still with him, "Don't worry, keep going... I'm not gonna get bored... that bored anyway." he shifted his eyes a bit.

Nodding, he continued, "Alright then, because of the fact that humans can't gain attribute points, with the laws here, we are the only race that can get stronger by merely training. There may be other monsters, demons, and other creatures in human form, aren't able to get any attribute points from training, at best they get to keep their body sharp."

"I see, but what about beastmen? I'm a hybrid and I could clearly tell that I could gain attribute points by training..." David asked.

"Well... beastmen can technically train, but the effects are way weaker. Let's say that one human and beastman both have the same talent, but due to the beastman being part monster, he/she won't get as many attribute points. For example, if I gained 10 attribute points for swinging my sword about 10,000 or 20,000 times, a beastman would only get around 3 or 4, depending on their race mix, and stuff like that." he explained.

"Any exceptions... other than the system?" David asked.

"Hm... maybe... I mean, in this world... the human race literally has the highest potential of being basically infinite." he shrugged.

"Fair enough, anyway, do you feel anything different, like you've hit a limit or something?" David asked.

"Hmm... I do feel slightly restricted. I think it's because of the fact that I'm max level, yet I can't breakthrough..." Bennett felt his body as he clenched his fist.

"Hmm... want to test it out tomorrow? Maybe the training is relative, whereas you get stronger, the better quality and intensity your training needs to be to get stronger?" David's eye shone a thoughtful light.

The two got ready for bed, and after a few minutes of laying down, neither of them could sleep.

"Shoot... now I'm all excited and can't sleep." David closed his eyes, frowning.

"Heh... I'm also excited too..." Bennett's slightly perverted face had finally shown himself.

"That's disgusting, man, don't show that face in front of me, that's gay. Also... who's the... cough... lucky girl?... Cough." David emphasized the last sentence.

"Wha? You should know who it is..." he looked away, slightly embarrassed.

David: "..."

"It's not Hana, is it?" David doubted himself, but at the same time... expected it? They did have quite the innocent personality and were quite similar in nearly everything except for ranking.

"Of course it's Hana!" he shouted eagerly.

"Well... our parents did want us to marry soon, so I guess you found a future fiancee to chase, good for you." David placed a finger on his chin, looking up at the ceiling.

"Hmph! Once we get together, I'll find you some women too." Bennett nodded to himself, being proud of himself at the same time.

"I... no, no, no, neither of us were old enough to date back then, I don't trust your advice from someone who never had a girlfriend..." David dismissively waved.

"Wha-fine! You can go find your own woman then!" he pouted.

"Yeah, yeah... with the lifespans we're going to have, it's gonna be a long time before anything happens." David felt his eyes were finally getting droopy.

"Haaaaah... anyway, just go to sleep, we've to wake up early tomorrow for class." David closed his eyes.

"... Goodnight." he replied.
