David had woken up first thing in the morning, checking the time to be only around 5:10 am, he waited to be all washed up before going to the cafeteria to grab some breakfast.
Since it was so early, only around 5:30, David was one of the few people who woke up at such an early time of the day, even if it was the second day at the academy.
"Hello! You a morning person too?" a random student walked up to him.
"Mn. I didn't think there would be anyone up at such a time. My name is David Vale, what about you?" David smiled.
The student was stunned by the glamor by his smile, but responded anyway, "My name is Hinge, no last name, but nice to meet you as well." he enthueastically greeted.
"Nice to meet you too Hinge, well, I have to go wake my roomate up, see you!" David waved goodbye.
"Oh... yeah, goodbye!" Hinge was in a daze seeing him leave so suddenly.
For breakfast, it was pancakes with syrups coupled with scrambled eggs and bacon on the side. The two of them were big eaters so he picked up 2 meals per person.
Opening the door to his dorm, David placed the two portions of breakfast on the dining table before going to the bedroom.
Seeing Bennett's innocent snoring face, instead of slightly wavering, David cruelly smiled and yelled, "Wake up! We have school today!"
"Ugh... what? What... time is... it?" Bennett groggily rolled around his bed.
"It's like, what. 6:05? Come on, eat your breakfast." David flicked his forehead.
"What...? That's soo early! Let me sleep a bit more..." Bennett went back to bed hearing how early it was.
"We have class earlier since there were dorms, after all, we don't have to actually spend an hour just to walk there... and you're not listening to me. Guess we got enough time to waste. I'll go eat my pancakes with eggs and bacon first then." David left the bedroom.
Hearing the last sentence, Bennett was suddenly awake, "Wait... bacon?" he asked.
"Mn? Yeah, bacon. What about it?" David raised a brow in confusion.
"Bacon!" Bennett leaped out of bed and rushed to the dining room.
"Oh... shoot... forgot he was a meat maniac, especially for bacon." David deadpanned, facepalming.
He grabbed his uniform and walked out of the bedroom to see Bennett wolfing down his breakfast.
"Oh, brother... if you like it so much, why don't you eat slower to savor it? We have plenty of time anyway." David placed his uniform on a chair beside him.
"Mnphmmmph..."
"God, don't eat with food in your mouth, you'll choke." David nagged.
Gulping his food down obediently, Bennett deadpanned at David, "Don't nag me like you're my mom..." he pouted.
"And who took care of you before we came here?" David retorted, putting down the plastic utensils.
"... Fine... but you're not my dad!" Bennett wolfed the rest of it down.
David was used to his actions, he placed the empty trays into the badge, as it had a small personal inventory space that would bring items like empty trays and used utensils straight to the cafeteria.
"Oh yeah, what class do we have after homeroom today?" Bennett asked while changing into his uniform.
Without any difference in his expression, he replied, "Since we're in the recommended class, we technically don't have to do the regular classes like history, and if you looked at your schedule like a decent student, you'll see that we have physical class first."
"Ugh... no need to call me out alright?" Bennett sulked.
"Yeah, yeah. Come on, let's go to class already." David grabbed his satchel.
"Wait, let me get my satchel!" Bennett hurriedly grabbed his satchel before running out of his dorm room to catch up to David.

**(Classroom)**
.
The two arrive at the classroom, and saw a few people already in the classroom doing their own thing.
They sit in their assigned seats, waiting for the others and the professor to arrive.
David was looking at a certain item in his inventory that he received after completing a certain quest after his entrance exam.
It was the ancient blood he gained after beating an instructor at the academy's entrance exam.
'Do I use it at home... or should I use it in an emergency... decisions, desicions.' David zoomed in at the small syring with a drop of glistening red blood.
'It doesn't even say anything about the effects... just question marks.' David stared curiously at the item.
'I guess I'll think about it a bit more when the weekend comes.' David put the thought of the ancient blood behind him, though there was always that small greedy voice within him that keeps telling him to take it immediately.
After a while of waiting and sorting out his inventory...
All of the students were in already, waiting for Mr. Gluri to enter.
*Click... Creak...*
Hearing the sound of the door, everyone stood up and greeted, "Good morning, professor."
Smiling at the students here, he greeted them back, "Good morning, students. I hope you have a great first day and time exploring the academy."
Looking at each other, they all reached a small consesus, "Yes, we have, professor."
"Good, seems like everyone is here then. Please take this time to change into your gym clothes as that will be first period of today." Gluri directly left after opening a portal to their designated destination of today's gym class.
As everyone had looked at their schedule beforehand, they were already wearing their gym uniforms under their regular uniform... plus it was kind of cold today, so there was that as well.
They quickly follow Gluri and enter the portal.
They arrive at a large colosseum, looking around with somewhat curious eyes.
Before they could explore any further, Gluri's voice had rang into their ears, "Alright, everyone gather around."
Following his order, everyone had taken off their regular uniform, and were now in their gym uniforms.
For their gym uniform, it was mostly just like those gym uniforms you would see in school anime, tight suits or t-shirts, the students were free to choose.
Seeing that everyone was dressed, Gluri nodded, "Good, let's begin class then."
