A New Life

We all have a plan for our lives, a path we see ourselves taking. For Nova Gray, that path was simply to leave the town and the act she had to live behind. Her dream is to study Zoology and finally be who she is and not who she is supposed to be. She doesn't know what happened the summer after freshman year, all she knows is she came home different and is thrown into a whole new world. At first, she thinks she is alone but when a group of new kids move to town, Nova begins to understand who she truly is. Now her life has truly begun, one she can call her own and one she never expected. A new life that will take great courage to enter and conquer.

So, What Do We Do

Jay took a deep breath before jumping into the hardest part of his explanation to Nova's family, "Werewolves live in packs, this town used to be the territory of a pack called Onyxcrown. The leader, or alpha, of the pack, became power-hungry and declared war on surrounding packs. My father is the alpha of our pack, Silvermoon. He was able to defeat Onyxcrown and their territory was split amongst the surrounding packs.

"Apparently, the alpha's son was saved and forced into hiding along with a handful of those who had been loyal to the alpha. They had also kidnapped a witch around that time and have been forcing her to use her magic to keep them hidden. About 3 weeks ago, we got a message, via rock through our window, from this alpha's son threatening us and saying he would force us off this land if we didn't leave.
