Telling the Family

"Good morning sleeping beauty!!" a voice announced as someone flung open the bedroom door. The sudden action startled Jay awake causing him to fall off Nova's bed with a loud thud. Not only had Nova's scent helped him fall asleep, but he slept far too late. Footsteps brought a very confused Carter around the side of the bed to find Jay sprawled on the ground in a mess of blankets.

'Uh oh, you're in trouble now.' Jay's wolf, Fang commented.

The confusion soon grew into a mischievous smirk, "Opps, did I accidentally interrupt my little sister being naughty?" Jay looked up at him, the pain that shot through him at the thought of Nova prevented him from even the slightest smile at Carter's teasing. Fang also let out a howl as he remembered why they had run to Nova's room last night.
