Chapter 38: Giving It an End
I felt the breeze going through my hair, it was getting colder and colder each day and the weather was almost matching my life.
‘’Is he coming?’’ Enzo asked with brows raised.
‘’I haven't seen him yet,’’ I said while looking down, biting my lips. My arms were clenching the railings. I was nervous from head to toe.
‘’I can’t believe something like this could happen,’’ Elena shook her head.
‘’Don’t be so shocked, El,’’ Enzo started. ‘’I told Lara about it before,’’ he looked at me. ‘’Some things didn’t match.’’
And that was the day when almost everything started. I got the tip from Sophie and Max, slightly questioned Enzo about it and finally learned what was going through my head.
That day I took one more step to discover his family, surroundings and my future.
‘’Lara, I don’t think this is a good sign,’’ Di shook her head.
