Chapter 15

The ball dance is a unique one and you have to go slowly,the masked man said while teaching her the steps.

They danced for a while and she was getting the hang of it,she was a natural and the dance seemed easy as she learned it,the song was a very slow one which made their dancing seem intimate.

He noticed her feeling uncomfortable and brought up a conversation.

I have being to lots of parties but haven't seen you before,he said and she looked up at his face before saying.

It's my first since being in the entertainment industry,she said.

By the way am Jack Grillo,he said with a smile while observing her expression.

Jack...,she said inwardly trying to remember where she heard the name.

Are you going to tell me yours?,jack asked looking at her.

Ummm..sorry am kathlyn..Kathlyn Dslyvia,she said.

You're the new actress in that movie "No love era",he said amusingly and she nodded.

Your talented,he said.

And beautiful,he murmured but she grabbed it instantly and blushed.

After a while of thinking about the name Jack Grillo for a long time while still dancing,she quickly looked up at him and said "Bruno",noticing she already knew who he was he chuckled lowly before saying "took you long enough".

I love all your movies..,well not all but most of em,she said enthusiastically.

Are you a fan?,he asked.

Not really,if i was a fan i could've recognised you easily,kathlyn said making a good point.

Well you're right,he agreed and twirled her as the music came to an end.

Mind dancing again?,he asked.

No thanks,it's really exhausting,she said with a smile and excused her self to go back to where she was and jack juat stood there admiring her as she left.

She is definitely one of a kind,he ssid to himself and his assistant agreed with him.

You are right,his assistant leon said.

Do you think i should pursue her,jack asked finally leaving the dance floor with his assistant.

It's up to you but i don't think she is like other girls who throw themselves at guys like you,leon siad and jack hummed with saying another word.

He left to talk with other guests who also like him were actors and people of high qualities.

Kathyln went back to her original position while still taking her drink,she suddenly remembered logan and decided to call him.

The call got through but disconnected so she went outside to the outdoor garden to try again,coincidentally he called back and she picked up.

Hey,you're like an hour late,she said looking at the time on her phone.

Where are you by the way?,she asked not receiving any response.

I came here an hour ago so i can't be late,he said.

Well i didn't see you inside...,just meet in at the outdoor garden,she said and the call got disconnected.

Several minutes past and she didn't hear the footstep of someone coming close to her because she was so caught up by the beautiful flowers.

Beautiful right?,logan asked as he walked up to her.

You.,she said as she turned to look at him,he wasn't wearing any mask on his face anf the night light made him appear quite dashing but she couldn't tell him that.

Where were you?,kathyln asked staring at him as he looked at her without saying anything.

What's wrong?,she asked as he was still quiet staring at her,she thought something was wrong until he removed her mask and smiled at her.

Better,he said finally.

You look beautiful?,he complimented straightforwardly.

You don't look bad yourself,she complimented him indirectly and he gave out a light smirk without saying anything so she dragged him inside saying "Enough talking lets go in,she said and took him inside.

As they entered all eyes were on them and they were awestruck as they weren't wearing their masks,most people were paring them while somr where envious.

Lucky enough there wasn't media inside the building to cover the gossips and display it on news headline the following day so rest assured they ignored the talks of people and continued walking till they reached where she was sitting.

She ordered two cocktails for the both of them and they were talked while drinking.

You never wear makeup like this,he said as he watched her drinking her cocktail.

Of course,i wanted to look beautiful for you,she teased him with a smile but his expression darkened after what she said which she didn't notice.

Control,control...,he said to himself.

How about a dance?,he asked when the music came up.

She would have refused if it wasn't him,her legs were still sore from dancing with jack buy she didn't habe the heart to refuse logan so she nodded with a smile and took his hands to the dance floor.

He held her by her waist and she crossed her arms around his neck and they danced with smiling faces,everyone looking at them would think they were couples but unfortunately NO..

They kept on dancing as he looked into her mesmerising eyes which didn't miss a chance to make his heart skip a beat.

While dancing he held her waist tightly and brought her closer to him,their lips were inches apart with their forehead touching,before anything could happen the music ended and applause followed and they looked around to see that they were the only couple dancing.

Everyone was clapping for them,it was unexpected and kathlyn all of a sudden felt her cheeks turning red.

He took her back to their seats and gave her a glass of water to calm down,her red coloured cheeks went back to normal after a while and he said with a smile.

Why were you blushing so much,he teased her.

It's not like i can control it,she said.
