It had being 2 months and the movie had being progressing greatly,kathlyn and logan spent mosst of their times together meanwhile also giving each other their own spaces so people wouldn't confuse their relationship.

Annabelle came to stay with kathyln as according to her being alone was super boring and she needed to be away fromm her parents who wouldn't let her leave in peace.

One faithful monday after coming back from her morning jogging,she and valerie prepered and went to work leaving annabelle alone in the house.

Valerie drove to the industry with kathyln in her car,when they reached the parking lot they got out of the car and headed into the building.

Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and everywhere they went they saw smiling faces.

Why do you think everyone seems to be in a good mood?,valerie asked.

We won't know until we ask,kathlyn said and suddenly she saw kay coming towards her smiling widely and gave her a big hug.

I haven't seen you for a while,how are you,kay said excitedly.

Am good,where have you being,you just suddenly left,kathlyn said.

It was work,she said and gave an awkward smile but kathyln didn't pay much attention to it,suddenly her phone rang and the colours drained frok her face before forcing a smile and excusing her self.

Excuse me i have to take this,kay said and left them.

You think she is fine,she was acting weird,don't you think,kathyln said looking at Kay's retreating view.

Calm you mind a little,she said it was work problem,valerie said but kathyln didn't look too convinced but she let it go.

Today they were celebrating the success of the project they had being working on for over two months,it was also a form of meeting and coming in contact with various famous producers and directors in the entertainment circle for business project during a masquerade party.

Valerie and kathlyn went to meet everyone cast in the movie,all seemed in a good mood talking and laughing suddenly logan came in with an unfathomable expression which immediately got the ladies gushing over his sudden figure.

Hey ladies,he said stopping on front of valerie and kathlyn.

Hey,valerie greeted and pretended to get a phone call and excused herself from their mist.

Amateur,kathlyn thought as she watched her retreating back.

You don't seem in the mood as others,logan asked observing her casual expression as if going through a normal day.

And who said i wasn't im the mood,because i am not smiling like the rest?,she asked though not expecting to get an answer from him.

It is though a rear opportunity,logan said but she didn't reply seeming lost in thought,he tried calling her but she she was still not gripping to the real world so he pinched her hand.

Ouch,she reacted feeling shocked from the sudden pinch which she didn't expect.

What was that for?,she asked hitting him.

You seem lost in thought,are you okay?,he replied to her question with a question.

It's nothing,but that pinch was painful,you could've being a little gentle,she said and he smiled at her before taking her hand and blowing lighltly on it while avoiding the stares from everyone in the room,Apart from valerie and kay everyone else who saw kathyln and logan was sure to misunderstand their relationship.

They stayed in there chatting for a while before heading to meet the director as he called to see kathlyn,when they were done talking about the movie amd the new scenes to be added to the female lead,she went looking for valerie so they could go home.

It was evening and valerie and kathlyn were already dresssed in their evening gown,valerie was trying ti apply makeup on kathyln but she was resistant and didn't let her,so she just applied little makeup for her and applied a red nude lipstick for her before doing hers.

Kathyln was dressed in a dark red off shoulder cover dress paired with a silver heel shoe,while valerie wore a blue ball gown.

They finished dressing and left the apartment going into the garage,they took the car and went to the venue of the celebration,they got down and entered the building and took their mask from the servants at the front of the door.

She entered the extremely building with lots of influential people,producers,directors amd actors,she kind of felt intimidated but didn't show it and kept a low profile.

She and valerie went over to take a seat close to the bar section,suddenly valerie was hauled unto the dance floor by a guy,so Yes,kathlyn was all alone again.

Dwelling in her loneliness while keeping a low profile,kathlyn ordered acocktail with with God knows what and she drank ut eloquently while admiring everyone going in and out of the building.

She wa still drinking her cocktail when suddenly a guy showed up to her and asked to dance,she couldn't see his face as it was covered,she could only see his lower jaw and his nose and found him oddly familiar,she didn't even have the heart to refuse him as suddenly eyes were on her and she had to agree.

It wasn't like she didn't dancing,everyone loves to dance but....

Geez the masqurade ball dance,she wasn't from a rich or influential family so she had no clue about the masqurade ball dance.

She got to the dance floor with nervousness and she didn't really that the guy who asked her to dance was smiling down at her.

Feeling uncomfortable?,he asked in an oddly familiar voice which she didn't still realize because of her nervousness.

No..,i..it's just that i don't know the dance,she said and he smiled again.

No worry,he said and held her hand and slowly thought her how to dance.
