Chapter 8: The Abandoned Mansion

Just as we reached the shop I saw it was closed. There was no way he closes before one in the morning. I was sure something was wrong. I needed more tools to do so but all the shops were closed.

Then I remembered that I can create tools from thin air. But Ria was about run towards a man standing in front of the shops.

That man smoking cigarette and after finishing, threw it on the ground, crushed it and lit another one. He tried so hard to blend in at night that it looked to suspicious.

"What are you doing?" I asked in sudden anger.

"Um..there's a man..there.. maybe he knows.." she said

"What are you.. crazy? have you ever been outside at night.." I said reluctantly.

I explained to Ria every single rule of the streets. I told her that there is every girl for herself and never rush in always judge and test and then take action.

After some time we saw the man touch his ear and say something looking back adjusting to face another man just outside the street and going on till the next two streets.

"See they are agents and are forming a D around the the BGI street, So, they are probably onto something..which means that they have caught Mr Jae" I said explaining and visualising.

"..Um..that's ok but..what is BGI?" Ria asked interuppting.

"Hgh..it's Bad Guys In" I said a little fusterated.

I was getting a little angry and also needed some information about what happened so, I decided to go party with death. Which is my favourite kind of party to be exact!!

"You just stay low, don't make any kind of noise and don't come to help me if you think I need it because I don't and if by any chance you get stuck in that fight, I won't help!" I said making a pair of binaculors out of nothing and handing it to Ria.

So I went to party! I disappeared and inspected every little detail. I stood right infront of the Man in the street that we saw first- Agent A. He didn't suspect anything.

I checked if he had any means of communication other than the micro IEM (In-ear-monitor). He did have a police responder. So, he was a police officer for sure.

I came back to the roof top. I was not wanting to help that man but couldn't help it, I was a lady afterall. I decided to teach Ria a few moves so that she would be able defend herself.

She was a quick learner. So, she learned a little more.

I told Ria to kill the last agent in the other end of the street. I vanished and by the time she killed one I had killed five without using super speed. All the agents there, were dead lying on the floor covered in blood.

She had a lot more learning to do. Only the Agent A was left. I asked what we needed and woosh! he's dead.

"Don't you feel sorry for them? I mean he did told everything we needed" Asked Ria.

"That's the point! he told us what he knew and if I didn't kill him, the person he works for would have. I don't pity anything because I already knew the outcome" I replied.

According to the information that was given to us by that agent, we reached a big but abandoned mansion. So, they were not working straight for the police.

It is amazing that someone actually bought the police officers and I didn't knew about that. I mean news like this travels faster then the speed of sound and this person managed to supress it completely.

I decided to enter but my assistant was too afraid. No offense but I really needed to get rid of her. I sent her home and told her that when Sapphire will return she'll give her the further information. She went and finally I was alone.

I disappeared and checked the whole lower floor in seconds. The silk curtains were torn apart and created weird shadows in the moonlight. The silver gril and the stairs inconsistently broken.

The celling was cracked which allowed moonlight and rain to enter and because of the floor was wet. Besides this, it was mostly dust, dirt and more dust.

I slowly went upstairs and nothing was there either. I was about to go when I saw a light coming from a downstairs room.

I watched carefully and saw two men probably guards going to backside of the weary mansion. When they entered a bright blue light hit my eyes and as soon as it came it was gone.

I peeped over and saw nothing. Not a single man or a glowing object in sight.

Just then I got a call from someone who had a kill for me and I went to do my job. I got home just in time and thought up for an excuse for Ria and my dad.

I told Ria that I was at spa and my father that was at a meeting about the strategy I had set up through which the company gained 63% more and I was given a promotion and a gift.

I sat for dinner with my family and Ria of course.

I formally asked Ria what had happened pretending not know anything and listened casually. I decided to tell mom everything that happened but tomorrow since it was getting too late.
