9 Chapter 9: The Terrible Tragedy
I was so sleepy hearing the tales (which I already knew from Ria). That night I excused myself early to bed but slept late. I just had a strange feeling like their someone who was watching but definitely not me..
My father had electrified the outside of the whole east wing of our house and that's where all my rooms were. So, I had trouble sleeping but slept finally after the twenty third song on my playlist.
The morning I woke earlier than usual but not early enough to say goodbye. The moment I woke up I knew something was wrong.
Their was a sobbing noise coming from my parents room. On entering the room I saw mom lying on bed without any moment and dad sat crying beside her.
I couldn't believe my eyes. My mom was gone! She was dead! I ran up to my father and hugged him tight. I was not able to speak but managed to utter a few words...
"Dad..what?.mom..Why?" I asked
My father stayed quite for a while but spoke soon. He told me that he heard my mother shout in the middle of the night and then she was just gone.
My ears couldn't believe what they were hearing, I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Suddenly tears were rolling from my eyes and down my cheeks.
I started crying and trembling. I forgot to behave like a lady and screamed "No!" and my father didn't stop me. Ria and the other guards came running after hearing me.
They understood what happened and didn't mutter a word. Ria sat beside me and helped me up. A doctor came with his report confirming the sad and terrible mishappening.
There was complete silence for a while...

Moments later I am standing in a burial ground bidding farewell without a good bye. I choose jasmine flowers which were my mother's favourite.
There are many people here. Some of them I don't even know. They must have been assassin friends of her's.
Two of them were talking that she is so bad at fighting and is having actual lady for a daughter.
"Who you calling a lady, Miss?" I said with anger in my eyes.
"Girl you don't know anything about her, even though she is your mother.." one of them said chuckling.
"Oh! I know" I said cutting her.
"She shared her identity with a..a lady" said the other horrified.
"I think you are mistaken" I said with a smirk on my face and did a quick swap of my dress into Dread X and back but for them it was a flash of light and saw Dread X in me. Their mouths were left wide open and didn't utter a word.

It was time to put her in a coffin after a speech. But when they were closing the lid, I saw something written on her body it was:
' You know something you shouldn't, now you shall die and along with you, your whole family '
She was killed. My mother was murdered..on purpose. This made me go red with anger. I was sure someone saw me at that mansion. My mind was full of questions and fustration. I was cursing myself all the way home.

When I was reached home, I locked myself in my room. My brain was eating itself up. I lost two mothers and two best friends. I sobbed there for hours.
Finally, at six in evening I came out. I was wanting to go early today and alone too but my father was waiting for me at the table. He was not speaking formal anymore.
"Honey! how are you feeling?" asked dad.
"..Um..fine..I guess" I answered.
"Daughter, you want to go somewhere?" asked father again.
"No, daddy. I don't." I said.
"You can tell me anything, you should know" he said.
"Dad, I need some time to recover and I promise I'll tell you everything but for that you need to recover too or you'll take this too hard." I replied.
He nodded his head in agreement. He knew that we didn't talk personally too much earlier and he had alot to catch up on.
After eating, I told my father I had meeting with some clients and might be late in returning home. It was ok with him. I called Ria told her that Dread X said to me that she will train her anytime she gets, but not today.
"But how do you know Dread X?" said Ria.
".um.. Huh?" I asked as I was not paying attention.
"I mean you are a lady and well she is an assassin..how'd you met and why she helps you?" she answered.
"I have my ways" I said ignoring her.
I waited but she was not going away.
"What do you want now?" I asked fusterated.
"I am your bodyguard, it's my job" Ria replied.
"I need some alone time!" I said giving her a cold eye.
She left me. I went to the dressing room and got changed. I was taking my time but just heard a knock on the door. It was Ria. She had asked my father and he told her that I will be going on a meeting.
She wanted to come too. At this point, the anger and fustration inside me was boiling hot. I could have killed Ria myself at this point.
