A Job He Never Wanted.

Death is a sad thing. Betrayal is another. To be betrayed by people that weren't even good to you but you still considered them family, is tragic. This is a story about how the MC dies, and he is transported to a white room with a weird floating mechanical orb. It says that he has to become its host and destroy plots in any way possible. He was way too lazy to go around destroying other world plots so he declined, but the 'thing' insisted and even mentioned something about his brother possibly dying if he didn't do as the 'thing' said. This Is The Worst, Ever. BL? probably but if there is, won't be the main point of the story, obviously.

Entrance Complete.

Leina got up from his seat and made his way to stand in the middle of the containment circle. The adults explained to him what they explained to the other kids before him.

With a nervous nod, he closed his eyes and focused on the air around him. He focused on the particles that floated in the air and how they enveloped his senses and slowly gathered the particles that gave off waves of cold air.

From the books that Leina has read, he knew how to form the spell 'Flèche d'Eau', which was previously performed by the other children for the test.

'Flèche d'Eau' has a few levels to it, but the most basic level that children start at is the lowest level of 'Flèche d'Eau'. Which is called, 'Flèche d'Eau Niveau 1'

It was a basic name despite it being in another language. Once Leina felt that there were enough water particles in his palms he started to focus on the shape of an arrow. The width. The height. The length.

He focused on it. How it looked. How it is perceived by others. How it comes to be. He focuses on everything that makes an arrow, an arrow. More specifically, a magic arrow.

At having gotten the shape he wanted, he focused on the length which is measured from his hand to his elbow. It wasn't short but it wasn't long either, just about right.

At having formed and shaped the arrow he so desired. He opened his eyes to see a water arrow. It had what looked like flowing water surrounding it, it was swirling around it, like a barrier. The arrow itself is made up of the same kind of water but it looked much more refined and sharper.

He notes that it looked much better than the other kids. Even the judges seemed a little taken aback by his abilities, but they had yet to understand and see his abilities that he will soon understand himself.

The judges, those who had broken out of their slight stupor, began instructing him to turn his water arrow into that of different elements (Fire, wind, and Earth).

Since water doesn't react that well to fire, he decided to try Earth magic next and see if he could change his arrow into brown particles that take up the shapes of rocks.

And he did exactly that. Once he opened his eyes he was met by a stone arrow. It looked jagged and sharp. But this time he couldn't tell if he did it better than the others or not. He got no hint from the judges either after the first one, so he will just have to assume that he did okay.

After the earth element, he produced the wind element next. He gathers white particles together to create a wind arrow. The air around him was swishing and very windy, but he continued holding the shape of the arrow.

The judges had watched as the child before them created a wind arrow. They felt their clothes move with the wind the child had created as he shaped an arrow before them. It was a surprising sight.

Once the arrow was fully formed, it looked sharp and refined. Durable even. This kid might be a genius.

Once they had written their report about the wind arrow, they instructed the child to create an arrow out of the fire element, to which he complied.

The room got hotter as flames began to make themselves known. The flames swished and turned and spun and crackled as it was brought together to form and mold itself into an arrow.

It was a magnificent sight. The arrow looked beautiful. The flames surrounded the pointy tip to give it more damage and sharpness. The arrow also looked very durable as well. What a sight.

With that, they wrote down their findings about the child and had him go on to the next room for the test to be done. They are gonna have one hell of a kid on their hands.

Once Leina made it out of the test room, he was greeted by his new friend.

"Hey Leina! I waited for you so that we could walk together and maybe hang out?"

She asked as she smiled and approached him. Leina thought about it before nodding.

"Sure, I don't mind. Where do you wanna go?"

He asked as he exited the school. Vienna held a hand to her chin in a thoughtful stance. She hummed as she tried to think of a nice place to go to. It was a minute before she perked up with a bright smile on her face.

"we should go to this nice ice cream place! It has some nice reviews and I think you will like it! Oh- I almost forgot, do you think we can stop somewhere on the way? I promised my brother we would go home together."

Leina nodded.

"Sure I don't mind."

"Great! Then let's go!"

She smiled before speeding up in her walk. Leina only smiled a little as he followed her, matching her pace.
