Grandpa

Twig standing on the branch saw the duo looking at him and flew and landed on Cain's shoulder and said in his always cheerful tone. "Cain isn't it great you finally have a family. You finally have someone of your own to share hard times and good." Sounding more excited than even Cain and Ana about them finding each other.

Ana however stayed staring at Twig for a long time before shock over took her face. "Why is there a God Bird in this lower world!!!!" Stunned at what his mother just exclaimed he looked at Twig who was looking at her just as questionably. Seeing that Twig seemed just as confused as he was he said to his mother. "This is Twig he has been with me since I was like 5, he has been with me through everything and helped me when I was sad and alone I always thought he was a falcon, what is a God Bird?" Cain questioned as he stroked Twigs head like always.

His mother still staring at Twig said. "A God Bird it similar to you except they are a entire race instead of a individual god they are the gods of all beings avian. They can freely change form into any other avian that they have knowledge of while still being better than them in every aspect."

This stunned both Cain and Twig. They looked at the other dumbfounded. Cain said. "I knew that you were a cool bird but, not that cool, you are almost as broken as I am no wonder all the other birds seem to worship you." Cain said ruffling Twigs feathers.

Still confused on how such a powerful creature ended up in a normal dimension Ana decided to ask Twig directly. "How did you end up here and find Cain."

Twig looked at Ana bewildered. "One day this kind old man came to my nest after I was born and asked my mother to take me, he said that he was going to show me to my new best friend and he was right. Cain is awesome I don't know why humans don't show him the love he deserves." Stated Twig rubbing his head against Cain's to which Cain did the same.

At this moment Ana put her hand on both of them and they disappeared from that universe and suddenly appeared in a almost completely white room. The room was almost perfectly white aside from the wooded desk in the center of the room and paintings on the walls or else one would think it stretched on forever. There were something weird about the paintings though there was a lot of them almost 50 and all of them only consisted of three people.

All of the paintings on the walls seemed to consist of Cain, Ana or a third person that Cain didn't recognize. Ana left his side immediately after appearing in the room with a angry look on her face that almost scared Cain. Ana stomped forward and slammed her hands on the desk knocking over several of the pictures sitting on the desk she yelled at the gentle looking old man on the other side. "Father why did you send a God Bird to be friends with my son instead of letting me be with him!!!!!! Now he has a closer bond with him than me his own mother!!!"

Can was flabbergasted, was this the same gentle mother that was just crying In his arms merely minutes ago? The old man at the desk looked at her with gentle eyes despite Ana yelling at him, almost as if he was use to it smiled and said. "The boy needed support somewhere so he didn't break during his trials and tribulations and a God Bird is a great choice for a companion for someone who is almost as powerful as me."

Everyone besides the old man was dumbfounded especially Ana. Who was the one sitting in front of her? Her father, God of All there was a reason that's his name he was absolute and what is he saying? Her baby was almost as powerful as him how could that be possible. She turned to look at her son and a smile had crept on to her lips as she had tears in her eyes.

At this moment while Ana was distracted by her son the old man stood up and stretched out his arms in the form of a hug while walking towards Cain and said. "Cain my sweet grandson come give grandpa a hug so he can get a good look at you." He had a huge smile on his face looking at Cain like he was the biggest gift in the world.

Cain was startled by this and subconsciously hugged him back and asked "Grandpa? I have a grandpa?" The old man laughed and said. "Of course you do my boy. Good to see you again little bird have you been treating my grandson well?"

Twig was still surprised by everything going on. Twig looked at the old man and said. "Yes he is the greatest he feeds me some of his food, taught me how to read and reads to me almost every day not to mention playing with me." He seemed to get more excited as he talked seeing someone else showing a interest in Cain.

Cain and the old man laughed at the silly Twig flapping his wing excitedly on Cains shoulder as he explained. Cain rubes Twig's stomach as he said. "Thank you for sending him to me he has been the best friend anyone could ask for. However how come you never let mother see me? I wish I had her in my life when younger?" Cain ask sadly.

Looking gently at Cain the old mad said softly. "Cain as the God of All I've had some part in everything that exists, however humans are sometimes the worst and greedy about everything. Your godly authority is all Fauna that includes humans. I wanted you to learn of this while you were young. That's why I did what I did I hope you can forgive me." He said with a great sadness in his eyes.

Cain could feel his suffering he seem to care for Cain just as much as his mother did. "It's ok grandpa I forgive you I can see why you did so mom wouldn't of let me experience that if she had anything to say about it." Looking over at his mother that finally calmed down even though she had pain in her eyes she nodded at his words. Understanding that even though it was the most painful thing she ever had experienced what her father said was true.

Cain came to understand everything that happened up till today and having understood the way humans are from his youth and was grateful to his grandpa for the chance despite his suffering. Looking at his new family he asked. "so what does this mean for me and Twig."

The old man smiled at him and said. "Whatever you want it to mean you are a awoken god. You are free to do what you want. However I'm sure your mother would love to spend time with you and it's not like you have anything to do really. Your authority is pretty much self governing with the rest of it handled by lower gods like your mother's. So you can go to whatever universe you want and play around." He said showing a huge smile to a happy Ana and a stunned Cain.
