Before the invasion pt.1

(I'll be gone for a week. I'm going to Texas to spend time with my uncle and baby cousins. Here is what the new girl looks like.)

School had ended and somehow my skateboard was still outside. I got it and kicked off the ground making my way home. I had to come in to the cafe today and I would be off at night.

It didn't take long to reach my house and I hopped into the shower after getting the uniform that was given to me from Mr. Sanders. I took a ten minute shower And got dressed, then got my skateboard and went to the cafe.

<The kitchen>

I had just finished taking an order out to the customer and went back to the kitchen. Mr. Sanders nodded at me and gave me a high-five when I went passed him.

It was rush hour when students got out of school and adults get out of work for their break. We had to rush things to get done while keeping the quality of the food high.

It was my turn on the stove and I immediately reserved an order of 5 piece hot wings and fries with a sprite. I started making the food immediately.

(I'm actually more than hungry and don't want to write this.😡)

The order was done within thirty minutes and I was just dipping the last wing in the sauce and put it up for takeout. Mia came and passed the food and the place was settling down.

<Fifteen minutes later>

The place was calm like the day I first came here. We went on break since we didn't have anymore customers at the time and I went out back with Mr. Sanders to ask him a question.

"Mr. Sanders, the way you the way you cook your salmon is different from what you told me and I wanted to know why that is." I said blandly.

He sighed and laughed a bit.

"You know in the time you've been here you've become better than the chefs that have been here for years, but the technique I use is for the real pros." He said smugly.

"I am a pro." I said defensively. He looked at me intrigued and motioned for me to follow him. I did and we were back in the kitchen.

He got a whole salmon from the freezer and put it in hot water to unthaw it. Once it was unthawed he put it on the cutting board and in one fluent motion he stripped the salmon of the meat on the ribs.

I could see it all in slow motion and completely analyzed how it was done. He flipped it over and did the same thing to the other side.

He moved the salmon out of the way and just got the strips of meat. He got a skillet and put some oil in it then put the salmon in it. He let it sizzle then after a few minutes he flipped it over and it was a nice golden brown. He tossed some seasonings and vegetables in it for the taste and aroma.

After some time it was done and he did some sides and made a sandwich out of it. He walked over to a table and started eating. I looked at him weirdly and he raised an eyebrow.

"Oh right, there is no technique, I just like to be different." He said and laughed while taking a bite from his sandwich.

"Old shit." I said in a low voice, but high enough for him to hear it and he almost chocked. I walked off to the kitchen to make me the same thing and once I was done eating I had to go back home, because it was night time.

While I was walking home Matrix spoke to me.

[The Tesseract has emitted a energy pulse.]

I nodded and walked home. When I got there, Natasha was at my door.

"We need to go, now." She said.

"Let me get changed." I said lazily

"Hurry up." She ordered.

I stopped in my tracks. I turned my head slightly and glared at her coldly.

'I don't mind being urgent, but ordering me to do something is a no. Maybe I've even getting to lax.' I thought. I only get ordered when I'm taking food out and even then, that's just us being signified that it's time to rotate on who makes food and who serves.

I turned my head and walked up my stairs leisurely.

"I'll be done when I'm done, so wait." My voice was cold and full of venom. I could hear her breath stop for a moment.

Closing my door, I went into my basement. My basement holds all of my tech stuff. I went over to a pod and got a tight black shirt and pants.

It was the suit for my receivers. The receivers send out a signal that the nano-bytes pick up and converge on they then build up my suit.

I also packed my energy harnesser and made it invisible.

I made the receiver suit invisible and put on some regular clothes, then walked out the building and saw Natasha in a car. I got in and we drove to the base in silence while I listened to music.

<The SHIELD base>

When we arrived everyone was in a panic. It was in full evacuation just like the movie. A lot of these people will die. I didn't care though. The only thing I wanted was some of captain American and Hulks blood.

It was the only thing I cared about. We got out if the car and "ran" towards trouble like idiots. The other Avengers were already there. All, but Hulk.

'Damn. Where is he?' Was the first thought that was in my head.

We ran into the base and meant up with Hill and she brought us down to the room with the Tesseract. I walked in and my eyes scanned over all the technology then the Tesseract.

'Matrix.'

[Already on it master. I'm downloading blueprints and data that they currently have, while examining the Tesseract.]

'Ok.'

Nick walked up to us along with the other Avengers.

"What do you think we could do with that?" Natasha asked pointing at the Tesseract. Just as Nick was about to speak a burst of energy was emitted from the Tesseract.

[The only known energy that it contains is gamma radiation, but its low.]

'Ok'

Then a beam of pure energy was shot forward. The energy radiated of the beam and I sneakily got my energy harnesser out and turned it on.

'Start siphoning.' I said in my head.

The center of the harnesser silently began spinning around and small trails of the energy came off of the Tesseract.

They were small trails, but the energy was from something that came directly from the universe. I could only take a small sample of that energy. It was enough though.

I hid the harnesser, just as something struck down were the energy was shot at.

"Loki have you come for the Tesseract." Said Thor pointing his hammer at him. Loki knew he was here and shot him with a beam from the staff.

Thor flew back and Loki ran over to get the Tesseract. Cap was the first to run up. He threw a left to Loki,s face, which he blocked and kicked Captain American in the stomach.

He flew back like Thor who was up and getting his bearings. I knew cap would fall like he did in the movie, but isn't he to strong.

Thor dropped him. Then again this is an AU Marvel. I sighed and waited my turn. Natasha went to confront him with cover from Hawkeye.

The arrows didn't do much, but annoy him and Natasha was swatted away. Tony tried helping, but he was hit with the spear.

In this time Nick tried to leave. In the chaos I erased my presence and left. I realized if Nick was leaving I didn't need to fight. Besides, hulk wasn't here which meant I had no reason to be here. I turned invisible and leafy the building after Nick.

Loki didn't care about Nick because, he only saw him as a human and he just wanted the Tesseract. He didn't even notice me.
