Siege (Pt.4)

30 Minutes Later.

Lucian finally regains his senses.

'He died to save me and my family. I can't let his sacrifice be for nothing.'

Lucian taps his hand against Siegfried's back.

"I can walk now, Dad."

Siegfried places him back down on his feet.

"You're finally back. I was getting worried."

"These are the kinds of things I wanted to keep away from you by abandoning the army."

Siegfried takes a deep breath.

"I guess I never really had a choice in the matter."

'I understand where he's coming from. He never planned for his son to become a Mage.'

Worry grips Lucian suddenly.

"Where's Mom and everyone else??" 

"We're right here." Lilith's voice echoes from behind Siegfried. Only the whites of her eyes are visible.

'Thank god.'

'I wonder who else survived. I hear a lot of footsteps, but I can't see anyone's face.'
