Complicated Situation

It had been a week since Amanda had rejected George's marriage proposal, and the two of them had not seen each other. George didn't come to Jhon's Cafe until Amanda finally got her day off because it was Christmas Eve.

Amanda stirred the chocolate cake batter for Christmas Eve. Lucas asked to make a chocolate cake for dessert tonight. The Christmas tree had long been set up and the presents from Kylie, herself and Camille were already under the tree, waiting to be opened on Christmas Day.

Although Amanda tried to keep herself busy doing lots of activities so she wouldn't have to think about what was going on between her and George, she still felt guilty.

She felt like she had played with George's feelings, maybe that's why he didn't want to see her anymore.

"I was going to invite him to celebrate Christmas Eve together, but because of what happened yesterday. It will be very awkward to meet him," Amanda said while watching the cake batter.
