nothing lasts#9

-Rony: "I was really scared and didn't want to rape her but what else could I do? My sister's a little girl in middle school and Jay's father is too powerful he can shut me down like nothing."

-kai: ".. D-daniel will kill you- all of you.."

-Rony: "come on kai I could've told him but I was afraid he would kill himself after her."

-kai: "kill himself?! You know nothing about him.. you don't know what Daniel is made of,

he will kill you.. and i will help him."

Kai was leaving the bathroom before Rony stopped him

-Rony: "KAI!- I did nothing! I was threatened,

I'm a victim here too, I was forced to do it. Please! I can help you too!"

-Kai: "your friends didn't trust you and you think i will? Hh"

After school, kai went to daniel's as they agreed

(-kai: "should I tell him or not?")

Daniel opened the door and hugged kai warmly

-Daniel: "kai, I missed you"

-Kai: "I missed you too, school's boring without you. Anya didn't come too..."

-Daniel: "come on in, I baked something for you."

Daniel was pretending to be okay but who couldn't tell that he wasn't?..

he went back to his old life.. starts the day early, hits the shower, eats breakfast, feeds luna and her kittens, goes to the shop takes care of the work so Richard can rest a bit. plays soccer with ethan and the kids.

Goes back home in evening, reads a book, writes, plays with his guitar, then prepares dinner.

Two things have changed in his routine.. going to school and sleeping at night.

Kai stayed the night with Daniel, they had dinner and supposedly slept, until kai woke up to find out that Daniel's not in his bed. He started looking for him all around the house and outside but couldn't find him.

-kai: "fuck, I shouldn't have slept, I'm here to look after him. Where did he possibly go?.. where are you danny!?"

Kai was really worried, he was running in loops in the neighberhood looking for Daniel in the same places again and again,

He then got an idea of where daniel might be..

"Wait.. I think I know.."

Meanwhile, Daniel was in the cemetery, he was resting his heavy head on mina's grave, holding amounts of soil with his two hands as if he was hugging the grave and wishing to be inside instead of her or at least with her,

screaming his lungs out for her and trembling

-Daniel: "why did you leave me alone!? What made you think that you were in this alone?

I.. no we all were there for you, I told you even if it was just us against the whole world and I meant it. "

Crying heartily daniel lifted his head up the ground and started digging the grave with his bare hands

"I need you I need you I need you!"

He said in a psychotic creepy way while heavily breathing and panting

In these moments kai got to the cemetery and ran to him

-kai: "Daniel! stop it!!! "

Kai wrapped his arms around daniel from the back and tried to pull him away but daniel pushed him and got back to digging

"DANIEL GO BACK TO YOUR MIND!"

Kai shouted then used more force to stop daniel from what he was doing

-Daniel: "i- I can't anymore.."

-kai: "hush.. it's okay I'm here"

Kai held daniel's face with his hands and kept trying to make Daniel look at him and focus with his words as he seemed to be knocked out

"Daniel, look at me, everything will be fine okay? Listen, i'm here, we're good.."

He tightly hugged him as he thought to himself

("I definitely can't tell him..")

#three days later#

-Kai: "so Rony, you said you can help?"

-Rony: "yea but to get them arrested not killed."

-kai: "I can't do that, the case's already closed they made it up perfectly.. I'm not a detective, I can't get my hands on anything on them not to mention that even if I do.. his dad will free him and kill me. Maybe if you go to the police station and tell them about everything you know we will get him arrested."

-Rony: "i- I can't do that! Everyone will know that I was one of them! My father will be so disappointed and.. my family will hate me forever.."

-kai: "huh son of a bitch.. you had no intentions to get yourself involved from the very beginning.. I was just trying you.

Walker can get jay out of jail or prove his innocence so easily he cares about his reputation so much, he won't let something like that slide anyway."

-Rony: "(trying me?!) I- I know and jay has already threatened me."

-kai: "we don't have any other option."

-Rony: "but how are you willing to do it?"

-kai: "tell me.. does he know you met up with me?"

-Rony: "no, I told them that i need time to clear my mind so I won't be seeing them for sometime."

-kai: "good, so tell me more about jay."

-Rony: "like what?"

-kai: "i don't know. Like how does he usually spend his free time?"

-Rony: "he has a huge garage where he keeps his things, his bike, his car.. he also has a small arcade in there, there's this small fridge and bathroom too. We meet there most of the time.. sometimes sezar and jay practice shooting in a near forest."

-kai: "shooting? He has firearms?"

-Rony: "yea he has a gun that he usually keeps in the garage too, but in a small safe with a password. Sezar and I don't have the access to it because he usually hides weed there too."

kai: "weed huh.. how does he manage to do good in sports when he smokes everything that's made to be smoken?"

-Rony: "this is jay we're talking about.. he is a mix of everything and good at everything.."

-kai: "you love him?"

-Rony: "of course I do! We had good times together. whenever i ask him for something he tries to make fun of me for constantly needing his help even with small things and acts as if he's annoyed but i know that.. deep down he cares about us.. he's got bad attittude for sure but.. he is a good guy..or at least was.."

-kai: "why're you betraying him then?"

-Rony: "I'm not betraying him!.. he forced me to rape a girl and was going to kill me and threatened to do the same to my sister.. it's about standing up for what's right."

-kai: "i don't know whom to feel bad for. y'all are so pathetic.. Did hannah know about what was going to happen to mina?"

-Rony: "no sezar lied to her about Jay wanting to apologize to make her tell him about mina's plans after school."

-kai: "i see.. what about the gun, did he purchase it legally?"

-Rony: "yea he hides it because his dad doesn't want him to be carrying it around, if he does so, he'll definitely kill someone."

-kai: "cool,"

-Rony: "did you tell him?"

-Kai: "no way, Daniel.. is a dreamer with a pure heart and a big future is ahead of him I won't let anyone and anything take that away from him. He suffered enough."

-Rony: "what a friend.."

-kai : "so here's the plan...."
