Diversion!

After a week Sophia and Rain were back to their normal routines. Kasalukuyan silang kumakain sa isang sikat na restaurant sa kanilang lugar.

"We should not be doing this, Mr. Ybanez said we should atleast—"

"Geez. .we won't get another chance, that ring will just passed by!"

"But they're going to use it as bait to catch us!"

Kinakabahang sabi ni Rain sa kanya.

"I know that's why we are using this opportunity to divert their attention to me and let see whose against who!"

"What if they were really wants to take you?"

Natigil bigla si Sophia, she took a deep breath bago nagsalita.

"I told you someone will come chasing us, bat pa natin sila pahihirapan!"

"Tssk. .!"

Rain shook his head and dig in.

Det Sembrano just give them a tip that their unit is tracking one of the best con artist.

While Sophia was eating heartily her teeth makes a loud sound as she bit something really hard that almost made her teeth cracked.

"Fuck it's a ring!"

How on earth this ring comes into her dessert? she asked  herself confusedly.

She look suspiciously to Rain that eats like a beast infront of her.

It's not him. .who is it?

Rain would not pulled such prank to her, he pretty knew where he would end up nicely.

She look arround and drop her eyes in the next table. 

While in the next table the couple fights when the man asked the lady if she found the ring. Malamang and drama ng lalaki ay kunyari mag poproposed ito sa babae kaya't inilagay nito sa cake ang naturang singsing.

It was a safe act though, there's no way that lady could get the ring unfront of the man without getting noticed, but that's what he thought.

He probably forgot who's infront of him.

Base on her observation the lady was already aware that it it was a trap for her, the way she react in the whole situation sophia knew she's the one to be reckoned with.

Napakindat pa ito ng mapadapo ang tingin sa kanya, Sophia responded it with a smile.

And the two gentlemen setting behind them are detectives.

Barking at the wrong tree! Sophia smirked and observed them.

"What if you swallowed it?"

The man asked angrily.

"Swallowed it? What do you think of me a 10 year old child?!"

"Then where is it you're just the only one eating this whole thing

"So you mean Im a pig.??"

The lady asked the man in disbelief, her tone was full of distaste.

"That's not what I mean!" 

"Find your fucking ring!"

 She then smash the cake in the man's face. 

"Were done!"

Galit na galit nitong bulyaw.

"Ohw!"

Someone must have been accidentally change the cake! Kibit balikat habang nakangiting sabi ni Sophia. 

What a lucky day! 

Then the man looked at her side, she suddenly grab Rain who still digging like a damn pig!

"Im not finished yet!"

"You don't have to finished—the food has poison!"

"Fuck. .what?"

She dush him inside the car when they reach outside. .as she was looking to the man that chase after them.

"Im going to drive!"

Walang kaabog abog niyang sabi.

"What. ? Hell no. .let me get out!!'

But Rain struggles died when Sophia unlock all the door and speed off like they were being chase by an angel of death. 

"Mercy father. .grandfather. ."

Rain almost call all the fathers in the worlds out of fright.. while she was calmly drive and speeding in the busiest highway.

She glance at the mirror and smiled at him. The detective are still persistent and chased them up to the end. Nag tawag pa ang mga ito ng back up, probably all the traffic division units are watching them like watching a car race.

Malamang nagpupustahan pa ang mga iyon kung sino ang mananalo either they end up getting jailed or escape.

"What are we going to do now?"

Natatarantang tanong ni Rain sa dalaga.

"If they catch us we're dead!"

"That's if they're gonna catch us!"

Kampanting sagot ni Sophia sa kabila ng tensyon. She won't say such things if she's not confident to pull such stunt.

Muntik muntikan na silang ma corner pero mas mabilis paring mag maneubra si Sophia.

"You better drive properly or else—!"

Rain's eyes struck in horror at sunod-sunod na napalunok ng laway, when he saw two container truck that cross in the intersection. 

One coming from left and the other from rigth and they were in between. 

And Sophia doesn't have a fucking plan of stopping the car instead she stepped on the accelerator and speed off.

Its like the car was flying. .

"Soph, it's. .it's—"

He closed his eyes out of fear as he saw a flashed of white lights that blinded his eyes. 

"This is probably my end!"

Mahinang sabi ni Rain sa sarili.

"Wake up!" 

Sophia slapped him.

"Am I dead.?!"

"Yes. .and you're just a spirit talking to an angel of death!" 

Sophia chuckled.

"Im alive.?" 

He asked surprisedly.

"Heaven's got mercy on me?! I'm alive. .I'm alive!"

Sophia laughed at loud nakisabay naman si Rain sa kanya habang naglulundag sa tuwa. They just beat the hell when they end up being alive.

"How did you manage to pull that—that scary stunt!" 

He asked swallowing his saliva.

"If were dead by now, it won't make any difference if that men caught us!"

"Whose man?"

"The detectives in the restaurant. ." 

She simply replied, Rain frowned.

"What business do you have with him?"

"This!"

Sophia simply showed him the ring.

"That's a diamond!"

"One of the rarest, fucking diamond they called tears of fucking joy!"

Napamulagat si Rain at akmang hahawakan sana ito when Sophia simply tossed in the water.

"Are you crazy? Muntik muntikan na tayong mamatay just because of that crazy thing and —"

"That was fake!"

"What!—what?"

Di makapaniwalang bulalas ni Rain, Sophia laughed at his reaction.

"You know the girl in there?"

Rain nodded reluctantly. 

"She's one of ours and one of the best!"

"You mean Tiffany?"

"Ahuh.!"

Nakatangong sagot ni Sophia sa di makapaniwalang lalaki, the one he barely give a glance was Tiffany the legendary con artist and bounty hunters ever exist.

"Mr. Ybanez recalled her from england just for this!"

"I'm confused!"

"Det. Sembrano already informed us about this op. and you know that man in there?" 

"Where?"

"I don't know how did they convinced him into this ploy but I know for sure, he won't waste his precious stone without being compromised, he's one of the best smuggler in the country!"

"Why you didn't tell me about this op, in the very first place?"

Rain's voice sounds like he was being betrayed.

"You are the most innocent person I've ever known and the last people they would suspect. They could suspect me in one glance but having you by my side will give them a doubt!" 

Natatawang sabi ni Sophia. Ngayon lang na intindihan ni Rain why they choose to eat in there, they were always fine with street foods kaya't akala niya nasaniban lang ng masamang spirito ang dalaga yon pala magiging divertion lamang ang kanilang presensyaa and he did not even get a chance to finished his foods.

"We have to make sure this op is hundred percent success, so our presence is just a divertion!"

"How did she steal the ring in front of that man?"

"How would you noticed it, you're really engrossed with your food!" 

Napapailing at nakasimangot na sabi ni Sophia.

"Anyway, the ring was actually in their cake, ours is just a duplicate so the dectective behind them won't pay attention to the two of them but to us, the moment Tiffany slap the man with the cake she took a small portion of it, and that's where the ring is, plus I stood up immediately so they chase us instead of her, which give her plenty of time to change her disguised and escape!"

"Woaaah!"

Rain unbelievable exclaimed.
