(Not)Woolly Wolf

It's hard to be a grimm, Alexander knows this firsthand... In fact, the most simple and easy story with a bunch of jokes and without a drop of meaning. There are also many references to a variety of topics. To all haters of Communism, Russians and the like, please do not read this fanfiction. There are too many jokes on these topics, even the main goal of the hero is connected with communism. The fanfiction is purely for entertainment, please don't overreact to it.

The Age of the gods.

The ancient time of the birth and dawn of civilization, in which the gods looked after the young race of people.

There were many of them, but they all obeyed two of them, brothers: The God of Light and the God of Darkness.

It was an ancient time. The history of the human race was still short and they did not have time to fill bumps in their ignorance because of the gods who took too much care of them. Some of them, however, were also young, they were sent to Remnant as if to a nursery, and as a result of not enough supervision over one small but very playful goddess, a second race appeared — Fauns.

They received animal parts that set them apart from the general background and were "cute", although no one heard the last of the mortals.

Civilizations grew stronger, conflicts were resolved with the help of divine judgment, so there were very few wars. People got smarter, studied the world around them and learned magic.

Almost everyone possessed magic in one way or another, but the most powerful magicians founded the guild of Miracle Workers, because they understood the danger of such a great power, and the responsibility for it.

Every capable magician dreamed of joining it, because it is not only access to resources, help in experiments and good company, it is also power.

The Guild of Miracle Workers was approached with many requests from different states, from help with the harvest to the construction of magnificent structures. Only as a military force did the Miracle Workers refuse to be hired. But we tried to act as peacemakers if we had the opportunity.

One of them was Salem, a powerful magician of order. A sweet, kind and noble girl who was able at a young age to receive the title of Master, literally following the Grand Master himself — the head of the order.

Due to her age, she was not so separated from the common people, so she noticed a boy, Oz, who, having practically no magical powers, was at the bottom of the social hierarchy, almost a party, tried to help people with his mind and eloquence.

But the common people did not appreciate his efforts. After all, what can infirmity know that even the weakest fireball cannot create? Here are the Magisters who can turn cities into ashes — these are wise people, since they got such power.

As a result, after several secret meetings, dates and a mountain of romantic experiences, Oz and Salem got together, being in love with each other.

But not everything went as smoothly as they would have liked. The Council of Masters forbade them to have a wedding. There were many reasons, from the banal fear that their children would be powerless and no one wanted Salem to take on such a burden, to Salem's secret hobbies of some of the Supreme Magicians, who also amused themselves with the opportunity to drag Salem into bed.

Salem couldn't give up everything and get engaged no matter what, she saved a lot of people every year with her work in the Guild, and she couldn't exchange the lives of thousands for personal happiness. Oz understood this, and did not rush her. After all, their love is eternal, and over time they will come up with something.

And so this shaky status quo continued until Oz got his hands on a grimoire that described rituals that could bestow great power. Everything would be fine, but they required human sacrifice.

He immediately rejected the possibility of getting happiness in this way, but, for some reason, he did not throw away the grimoire, but kept it in a secret place.

Gradually, this knowledge weakened him, and through Salem he began to collect the necessary ingredients, just in case, under the pretext of possible ideas to increase his magical power so that the old people would get behind them. In a way, he wasn't even lying.

The longer it went on, the more doubt there was in Oz. What does the death of a few mean if in the end I can help thousands? And besides, my beloved and I will finally be able to be together in the open.

Such thoughts tormented him until one terrible evening he accidentally overheard a conversation between three Masters in which they expressed a desire to sleep with Salem. The description of her hypothetical moans and ridicule of Oz finally broke him, and, with the help of cunning and a sneak attack, he was able to capture the drunken magicians, after which he went to perform the ritual.

The Guild was not immediately alarmed about the loss of the Masters, but Salem was the first to compare the evidence and managed to get to the place of the ritual.

There she saw Oz, the corpses of the Magisters and the final phase of the magical action. It could no longer be interrupted, because it was forbidden Chaos magic that could destroy everything around if you rudely interfere with it.

The eyes of her loved ones met, but instead of being happy for Oz, because he became her equal, Salem ran away to the church of the Bright God to ask for help, because only he could prevent the disaster.

In the church, she did not answer the call, and only with the help of her powerful magic she was able to find out that the Light God was struck by the filth of Chaos, which seeped through the dimensions with the help of a hole formed by the Oz ritual.

Only the Light One could change everything, which is why Chaos attacked him in the first place, which means Oz could no longer be saved from being consumed by the passions of the immaterium.

But it was still possible to save Remnant, and perhaps the Light God, who would bring Oz back to normal. In a desperate attempt, Salem told the Dark God about what was happening, who weighed everything and made a decision.

He takes his brother and all the gods out of the dimension, on the remnants of his strength after such a laborious procedure, seals the puncture between the dimensions, and Salem blesses with his mark, allowing him to use part of his powers.

Now Salem must defeat Oz and prevent the ritual from being performed again, so that the forces of Chaos cannot destroy this world.

These were difficult times that required difficult decisions. Salem destroyed all the magicians, because one magician's life is equivalent to thousands of lives of ordinary mortals. And in order to prevent them from reproducing in large numbers, to carry out a repeated ritual, she created a Grimm with the help of the power of the Dark God, and limited the territory of residence and the population of people with fauns.

Perhaps her actions could be called terrible and inhumane, but they were necessary.

Now, all that remains is to find out how to bypass the possibility of Oz, granted by chaos, to rebirth in new bodies and how to burn the filth of chaos out of the world.

It was a long-term confrontation, until, due to the residual emanations of chaos and wild magic, a human soul entered the Remnant, inhabiting an empty vessel — a Grimm.

How will the ancient confrontation be resolved? Well, we just have to wait and see.
