"That coffin was heavy. It required all four of us to move." Kiannah says while she collapses on the ground.

"I know, sometimes I wish Hendrix were here. He's so adorable, and I want to hold him and show my appreciation to him." Natasha says while she smiles slightly and daydreams of doing that. Additionally, she sat down and took off her backpack.

"I do as well. He saved our lives despite being physically weak. I wish we could protect him. I wish to see him again, and he's a cute little man." Valentina stated while smiling as she sat down and took off her backpack.

"If only it were possible. But he's afraid of us. He shivered whenever we held him, despite us being careful as we did so. I wish I could know the reason." Allura says while tears fall from her eyes, and she sighs.

"I got three xp from killing two Skinlings." Valentina brought up, hoping to change the topic.

"Oh, how much xp do you need before you level up?" Kiannah questioned while raising her brow and crossing her arms.

"I need five xp. Wait, what happens when we level up?" Valentina asked while tilting her head slightly.

"Our Vigor is completely restored and injuries healed. However, you can choose to postpone leveling up until you want to. Additionally, we get zero point five stat points every level up." Kiannah explained while smiling.

"Wait, if that's the case, then you and I can cripple Skinlings, and then Allura and Natasha can kill them until they level up. Then together, we can kill more Skinlings and get stronger. Perhaps we can use this place to increase our power." Valentina stated while smiling.

"That's a good idea, Valentina, but first, we should rest." Natasha interjected while nodding.

"I agree with this idea as well. Perhaps this place can be fun." Allura replied while smirking.

"I suggest you use your stat points on your normal stats with the highest stat talent." Kiannah suggested while humming.

"I'll do so. However, what are your stat talents?" Natasha asked while narrowing her eyes.

"Well, there not SSS, that's for sure. I'm in X class for a different reason." Kiannah explained with a chuckle.

"What reason is that?" Natasha asked while smiling.

"My physique, its quad physique that's powerful. My actual talents are, on average, B." Kiannah explained while smirking.

'I can understand why that would allow her to join X class. That physique is broken despite its downside.' Natasha thought while nodding to Kiannah.

"Let's just relax and eat, and after, Valentina and I can head outside." Kiannah stated while patting Natasha's shoulder.

Everyone else nodded and opened their backpacks. Inside were many changes of clothes, a bar of soap, some makeshift towels, multiple full waterskins, and ten pounds of dried meat and bread. Tied to the back of each backpack was a large hay bed and a small blanket.

Afterward, the group ate their food, and even though it had a barely passable taste, they didn't complain. Subsequently, the group rested for two hours in their hay beds.

"It's time to go. Natasha, Allura, we'll drag two Skinlings back if we do well." Kiannah explained while she slowly pushed the coffin alongside Valentina.

The duo continued to push until a small gap was there. Afterward, they opened the door just enough to slip through before closing it.

Subsequently, Natasha and Allura waited five hours before they heard the door moving.

"We're back, and we crippled six Skinlings." Valentina stated while carrying a Skinling without any limbs. Additionally, she was panting and wheezing.

"Each of you can kill three, and hopefully, that Is enough for both of you to level up." Kiannah explained while she carried another Skinling inside while sweating profusely.

The two spent five minutes bringing in the Skinlings before placing them in front of Natasha and Allura.

"Go ahead and kill them." Valentina stated while smiling.

Natasha and Allura nodded before getting up and grabbing their weapons.

'I hope this is enough to level up.' Natasha thought before she beheaded three Skinlings.

"I leveled up, and I feel much better." Natasha stated while smiling and feeling no pain anymore. Subsequently, she decided to check her new stat points later.

"That's great. I leveled up too." Allura says while grinning and giving a thumbs up as all the bruises and bite marks are gone.

"Let's go out and find more Skinlings to kill together. We should work on our teamwork." Kiannah suggested.

"Alright, but we should go to sleep first. Even though there's no daytime, we shouldn't ruin our circadian rhythm." Valentina countered while sighing.

The group nodded and blocked the door again with the coffin and rocks before entering their hay beds, pulling their covers over themselves, and falling asleep.

After about nine hours, they woke up.

"Good morning, eh well, maybe not morning since it's always night here." Natasha spoke while getting up from under her covers.

"We understand, and do you wonder what Hendrix is doing right now? Especially with that Priya girl who's protecting him." Allura asked before sighing and staring at her hands while lowering her shoulders.

"I wish I knew what she did to earn his trust so we could also. I wish to show my appreciation and to protect him as well. He's so frail, fragile, and broken." Valentina stated while getting up before slumping and sighing. Additionally, she picked up her shield and sword while looking at her reflection through them.

"I wish to know too, but first, we need to survive this, and perhaps we'll get the answer we seek. Maybe he'll let us help him willingly and know he's safe in our arms." Kiannah says while sighing and smiling before tears fall from her eyes. Additionally, she began to sob and whimper.

"Kiannah, what's wrong? Please tell us what happened." Allura asked while getting up and sitting beside her before patting her shoulder.

"I want Hendrix to trust us so much. I want to protect and nurture him, yet Priya won't allow us to get close. I want to know how she got his trust." Kiannah replied while grimacing and whimpering before wincing.

"I do, too, but we need to be strong. We'll eventually get that answer, hopefully. However, we should kill some more Skinlings to level up Kiannah. We must be strong enough to keep him safe if he accepts our help." Allura says before hugging Kiannah.

Kiannah smiled while hugging back.
