Chapter 9

Anubis walked to her chambers and went into her bedroom,falling on the bed she closed her eyes and fell asleep instantly.

Back in the throne room,Zeus sat on his throne sipping from his glass of red wine leisurely when Daemon walked inside and stood behind him.

"Father!! seems you are tired already?!" Daemon asked massaging his father's back,

"I'm tired of greeting those folks....why don't you come help me this night" Zeus said grinning

"Uhmm! i will father! Anubis..why did you give her another life and even gave her some powers to harness ?" Daemon asked

"I looked into her,and i saw a strong desire to destroy especially the world,i guess the reason for it was because of how she was treated in her past life,she pledged her soul to me in exchange for my help and i did just that...i can use her to carry out the plans i have concerning the entire world besides she is willing to do anything i want her to".

"Hmm.....will she be able to? what if she betrays you?" Daemon asked out of concern

"Tsk!" Zeus clicked his tongue and smiled " she wouldn't dare betray me,i am her master and she owns me her life,everything about her is mine so to say,if i were her i would not be thinking of betraying her master" Zeus replied Confidently

"Okay father...if you say so,I'll be going now,i have some guests to attend to if you don't mind"

"I don't mind...at all, just come to my chambers at night and make up for abandoning me"

Daemon smiled at his father and bowed his head and left,pleasing his father was his greatest priority and he knew just how to.

"Father please don't leave me....mother!! please...please don't leave me.. please....ahhhhhhhhhh!!" Anubis screamed and jumped up from her bed sweating profusely, she looked around and seeing where she was she breathed a sigh of relief

"It was a dream!!! phew...but why would I see my parents of all people in my dreams?" she asked herself knowing how much she hated her parents to the core, it was very wrong to see them in her dreams,she remembered in her last life when her parents were selling her out,how she pleaded and begged her parents but they paid a deaf ear to her cries,just thinking about her past made her clench her fist tight,she hated and despised her parents so much even the gods knew.

Coming down from the bed,she removed her clothes and walked into the bathroom,entering inside the bathtub filled with warm water she relaxed her body and mind,allowing her to savour the warmth of the water on her body,she closed her eyes trying to feel the powers in her and when she felt the it suddenly burst out of her and filled the entire bathroom,with her eyes closed she saw herself entering what seemed like a lake filled with dark elements,the powers in the lake were drawing her to them,she tried fighting it but she couldn't, she surrendered to the powers calling her and she entered into the lake,immediately her body entered into the lake filled with dark elements,she felt a strong surge of power enter her, it was stronger than the one which surged into her during her transformation,her eyes suddenly sprang open and dark smoke came out of her eyes,her eyes were turned black and hollow ,there was no atom of life in them, she smiled subconsciously in a vicious manner "I am back!" she said subconsciously,her voice sounding ancient and misty.
