Chapter 10

"Do you know me?" the ancient voice asked through Anubis " I am Lilith the first immortal woman to ever exist,i was put into eternal slumber and thrown into the dark abyss by the Origin and that is why no one knows of me,but I'm glad that i am back because i must avenge.....i have waited for ages for the day i will return and finally I'm here!!" the ancient voice said

"You choose me!! Where you the one drawing me into the dark lake?" Anubis asked without wavering

"Yes it was me!! that dark lake is the dark abyss where i was thrown,no one could go there and come back alive not even Zeus....but you,your case is exceptionally different,there is something about you that piqued my interest"

"Why did you choose me ?" Anubis asked...

*kukukuku* the voice chuckled " you aren't afraid of me? you should be considering who i am for even Zeus fears me!" the voice said boastfully

"And why would my master be afraid of you!! besides..... you are in my body! you entered it without seeking for my permission!...so why should i fear someone who uses another one's shell,if you are powerful enough as you say,go find another shell"

"hahahaha" The voice laughed " very well said,no wonder Zeus is interested in you,you've got no fear in you at all...i like it, yes i borrowed your body because from henceforth i will live inside of you,and will help you grow your powers,isn't that what you've always wanted?,you have a strong will to become powerful and i will help you become powerful but in return you must do something for me!" the voice said

"What could that be?" Anubis asked hastily

"You will battle against the origin!!" the voice blurted out

"Wh...what???! aren't you trying to get me killed or what?"Anubis half screamed,fight the origin?? that was impossible .

"Uhmm! it's indeed a very tough battle,but there's something you will need to kill the origin,it is the sword of ' gratos' this sword is infused with the ultimate power of death and it is wielded by the god of death himself,in order to have the sword you must fight with the god of death,the sword will choose it's owner by itself that is the winner....with this sword of gratos,you will definitely defeat the origin,all my ages of eternal slumber,I've had the desire to destroy the origin...he dare throw me into the dark abyss??! i shall return it hundreds folds"

"But why can't you battle him yourself,i am still too small to do that?!" Anubis couldn't help but ask,the battle was supposed to be among the two ancient immortals so why would she an ordinary fly fight instead?.

"i am already too weak,i have lost my fighting prowess over the ages....i am afraid that i will loose and i don't want it to happen".

"but how am i supposed to get strong to be able to defeat the god of death himself??" Anubis asked

"Leave that to me,as you practice,i will give you my powers bit by bit until you are able to contain all my powers....do not let Zeus know about me!" the voice said and faded away,Anubis came out of the bathtub and her eyes changed back to it's original red color,she went back to her room and wore her nightgown,she sat on the bed and began thinking about what the voice told her,she smiled to herself mischievously "I will do it" she said to herself and laid back on her bed and fell asleep.
