Chapter 21 ŸØŲ.

Earl

A week passed since the incident at school and Dawn... He became someone who's fixated in protecting me, he's been by my side at school

Making sure other students doesn't swarm around me, I'm surprised that he's actually quite popular because he's good at almost every sports

"Are you sure you're going to be okay meeting my friends now?" saying his concerns when we're going to eat lunch at the cafeteria "they are rowdy and... and-"

"it's fine, I'll be okay" cutting him off then giving him a small smile

"Haaaaaaa fiiiinneee" he said in defeat, dragging his feet while entering the door

Sometimes he acts like he's a five years old, it's so easy to know what he wants

He turn around and faced me then ask "What do you wanna eat?"

"meal A" I simply reply

"got it"

After getting our food we walk to a certain place at the back of the cafeteria where a rowdy huge guys are talking, it feels like they're a talking monster or beast by how loud they talk

"yoooow!! Dawn where've you been?" guy1 noticed Dawn walking up to them

"ohhh? Who's with you?" guy2 who noticed me following Dawn

"this is Earl, the guy I've been telling you guys about" Dawn says while doing some handshakes with they other guys

"ahhh the one you've been waiting for?" guy3 ask while scrutinising me

"hey! Shut up! No need to go into details yeah?" Dawn shouted immediately while being defensive

After some short introductions we started eating lunch and to my surprise they are talking gently now, I guess they knew about my hearing problem

Of course the center of attention in the circle were me and Dawn, they asked me about myself which I answered them truthfully and I learned a few things about Dawn, well some of them are the embarrassing things that has happened to him and the way he always defended himself while looking uncomfortable was quite fun to watch
