[Multiverse] Beyond Fate

Short Version: "A 'guy' (not reincarnated) with the Spiral Power from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann travels through the Multiverse, knowing absolutely nothing, with 'just' a (not so conscious) System to help him minimally." Long Version: Born from the Concepts of [Spiral] and [Destiny] after the End of the [Void] itself, a new life form journeys through the Multiverse in search of growth and maturity to fully embrace its existence. Unaware of the future dangers it will face and the peculiar individuals it will encounter, the being seeks to navigate the unknown. Worlds: [Frieren: Beyond Journey's End](1st) ----- The first chapters ("Bite" to "Tests(1-8)") use a specific writing style, and starting from "A Sudden Meteor," the writing style changes as it enters the first World (Frieren). I'm trying to improve my writing with each chapter, so if you didn't like the writing in the "Tests," perhaps you'll enjoy the new writing style from the beginning of the First World. ----- Ps: I'll be trying to respond to questions/revisions to the best of my ability, so don't hesitate to ask if you have any doubts~ Ps2(YEAH): I don't take any credit for the Cover Art of this work; it's just the appearance of the Protagonist that I found after searching for a good while. If the Image Owner wishes for me to remove it, I'll gladly do so~

[Flame: Dark Souls Will(4/6]

'Gwyn, Lord of Cinder - Dark Souls Soundtrack' is simply perfect. All the Dark Souls soundtracks are perfect...

When conversations are conducted through entities that are "invading" the System, such as the [Spiral] or the [Strange Entity], the names of these beings will be repeated over and over again. Mainly to simplify communication and also to highlight the lack of experience and conversion of the System itself, it exists only to perform Vesper's tasks perfectly: not created to help beings from outside (not involved with the [Chat]) communicate with Vesper.

This entire chapter is excessively important, but from others' point of view: perhaps exaggerated? Well, I enjoyed writing it, so that's what matters. This chapter prepared many things, so it can be said that I am preparing to cook for the Future!

After Vesper's Status at the end of the chapter, there are my "small" "post-chapter" messages, so if you can: take a read~

[Word Count: 4.400]

The likelihood(?) of there being something mistranslated is EXTREMELY high in this chapter because of its size. I ended up using certain words that made the translation more difficult and confusing, so I made several mistakes, and perhaps I left some errors behind (I may have overlooked them).

So please let me know if you find any errors or untranslated items during the chapter~!

-----

The World had turned completely gray. The Mini-Boss Room that was once white was now gray, the small Series Figure was also completely gray, as were the barriers that had been activated around her until now.

A kind of numbness surrounded Vesper's body, his senses warning him that something was wrong. Very wrong. This strange and new sensation made Vesper intensely scan his surroundings, looking for the cause of this anomaly.

[The [Spiral] asks Veserithorn to calm down.]

[The [Spiral] explains that the current change in the environment was due to [Flame], with this being done so that everything can be resolved without disrupting the current scenario.]

"They could have warned me before..." Vesper sighed as he began to calm down, still feeling somewhat uncomfortable due to his senses still detecting the anomaly present in the surroundings.

"So, what needs to be resolved? And how are we going to solve this?" Vesper sat in the Air, something that ended up being perfectly possible due to the strange phenomenon that was occurring.

[The [Strange Entity] decides to reveal its Name.]

[-[Strange Entity] --> [Flame].-]

"Wow, how original~" Vesper quipped as he observed the change.

[-[Flame] is embarrassed by Veserithorn's reaction, trying to explain that it is impossible for him/her to have a better name than the current one.]

"Whatever helps you sleep at night."

[The [Spiral] is amused by watching the interaction between both.]

[The [Spiral] urges [Flame] to properly explain the situation.]

[-[Flame] mentions that he/she is about to send a large file to Veserithorn's System, which will contain better explanations.]

"What is a file?" Vesper questioned confusedly before a notification appeared in front of him, prompting him to move his finger and open it.

[-Explanations for Veserithorn's Current Situation. Author: The Amazing and Extremely Hot [Flame].

Initially, there was not supposed to be any contact between us: Me ([Flame]) and You ([Veserithorn]). We both represent completely different concepts and have different purposes, but it seems that your concept exists only to provide...entertainment for you.

The Summoning Symbol was able to summon over three trillion different Monsters, some of which could pose an extremely high threat to this world. And coincidentally, you ended up summoning a Creature that is within my 'World', all creatures linked to my World have a very intimate relationship with the final events of this 'narrative line', thus, the sudden disappearance of any creature is obviously: concerning, especially one as important as this (Gaping Dragon).

I went after what caused this and ended up finding you, something that should be impossible to exist through all possible means. ALL things come to an end, regardless of what it is. This is something that everyone is forced to learn, including beings like Me, but apparently, you escape this Rule. You are the definition of a simple phrase: 'The End is just the beginning,' you will never disappear and will always exist, and that obviously caught my attention.

My entire 'World', my entire 'Narrative Line', revolves around ideas extremely similar to your main characteristics. Whenever the 'Narrative Line' is about to end, someone will give it a new beginning: a new 'Narrative Line', made possible only by a strong feeling of [Determination]. Your characteristics, or rather: your definitions, have attracted my interest in an extremely high manner, and thus, I have made a decision.

I want to explore the unknown. I want to learn more about other possible endings, more about impossibilities, and understand if there really is a limit to something or if everything can be overcome in one way or another, and you are the main means to this. I want to achieve complete synchronization with you, in simple terms, become something that depends on you to live. As long as you exist, I will exist: and when you stop existing (which will never happen), I will cease to exist. You could say that this is a very greedy and selfish desire for a Will like mine.

And obviously, I know how absurd this desire is and can be. I will not do this for free. I will offer incredibly useful things to you in exchange for my Wish being granted, and believe me when I say this: I CAN provide extremely interesting things for you.

So, Veserithorn, could you let me accompany you for all Eternity? Discover more about the infinite and endless existence that you are, and experience every euphoric and joyful situation that you will witness in your eternal life?]

"..." / [Spiral: ...]

"That's..." / [Spiral: It's a marriage proposal! Damn you, [Flame]! I let you talk to him for a moment and you act like this?!]

[-[Flame] is confused about what the [Spiral] is saying. [Flame] says he/she only wanted to fulfill a Wish.]

[The [Spiral] orders [Flame] to take a closer look at this strange declaration while forcibly imparting basic knowledge into [Flame]'s mind.]

[...]

[The existence of [Flame] burns. Its hue takes on a pinkish color, while its fire spreads nervously.]

[-[Flame] screams that this was not what he/she was referring to, saying that he/she now feels extremely embarrassed.]

"Hmmmm" Vesper was chin in hand as he thought about everything he had read, perfectly ignoring the current conversation of both parties.

"The things you can offer me are really interesting? And how limited are they?" Vesper asked with a serious tone, seeming to be genuinely pondering something.

[-[Flame] calms down upon hearing Vesper's question, thanking him for deflecting this embarrassing situation.]

[-[Flame] explains that he/she can provide Veserithorn with hundreds of thousands of things, such as species of rewards just like Veserithorn's current [System] does.]

"So, will my System undergo changes?" He furrowed his brow, perhaps not so good.

[-[Flame] explains that the [System] has already analyzed how this would affect Veserithorn and what would change, saying that things will release the [Shop] option prematurely, while changing the current [System Coin] to [Flame World Coin].]

"Good enough." Vesper nodded as he listened to the explanation, it was great to release the [Shop] Option and already have several things inside.

"And this 'Ring of Fire'?"

[-[Flame] explains that the 'Ring of Fire' is a core concept of his World, which will provide various Advantages to Veserithorn. The disadvantages have been completely removed.]

[The [Spiral] comments that she made sure this 'Fire Ring' wouldn't harm Veserithorn in any way.]

"I trust you, so I accept the deal."

[Flame's flames erupt in pure euphoria.]

[-[Flame] takes on a slightly pinkish hue as she declares that from now on she will accompany [Veserithorn] forever.]

-[New function unlocked: [Shop].]-

-[As a reward for your first official marriage, [Veserithorn] provides a random reward to Veserithorn.]-

-[The random reward has been selected.]-

"Official marriage??" Vesper questioned, confused.

[A [Espiral] is furious.]

[A [Espiral] approaches Flame's World.]

[-[Flame] pleads for forgiveness, saying that this was not the intention.]

[A [Espiral] says she will hit first, think later.]

[Communication between both entities was terminated through the [System], due to third-party issues involving both sides.]

"These two are crazy." Vesper had a dry look as he read the notifications, before making them disappear, leaving only the truly important things.

"Let's do things in order, System. The less confusing, the better."

"First, give me all notifications involving the 'Fire Ring.'"

[Understood.]

[The 'Fire Ring' has been completely absorbed by [Veserithorn].]

[-[Veserithorn] is incredibly pleased.]

[A new ability has been generated.]

[NEUTRAL Ability: {First Fire[1]}] [Description: Through Time the First Fire arose, and disparity was brought forth alongside the Fire. Heat and cold, life and death, and of course, light and darkness.] [(+): {Generation, Manipulation, and Integration of the First Flame}.]

[NEUTRAL Ability: {Heat and Cold[1]}] [Description: The First Fire generated the first sensation of heat while creating the first sensation of cold.] [(+): {Toggle the properties of the First Fire, making it as hot as possible and as cold as desired.}.]

[NEUTRAL Ability: {Life and Death[1]}] [Description: Life is embraced by Heat, while Death is embraced by Cold.] [(+): {Create and Erase Life through the First Fire}.]

[NEUTRAL Ability: {Light and Darkness[1]}] [Description: Light arose from the First Fire, while Darkness was finally noticed by something.] [(+): {Decide the alignment of your creations through the First Fire.}]

[The First Fire has caused extreme changes in [Veserithorn], who feels absurdly satisfied.]

[Stats will undergo extreme changes to accommodate these new abilities.]

[A new title has been created.]

[Title: {Bearer of the Primordial Fire: Architect of the Stars and Lord of Destinies}] [Description: The Source of [Life] and [Destruction], capable of creating the brightest stars and extinguishing the most unwanted, able to influence the Flow of Creation in whatever way desired.] [Effects: +100,000% Understanding in {Creation and Destruction}, {External Existence}, {External Perception}.]

[Due to [Veserithorn] reaching {External Existence} prematurely, a gift reserved for the fourth evolution has been expedited.]

[Name: -Worldly Furnace-] [Description: A small Furnace the size of a Human's palm, when ignited by the [First Fire], is capable of creating Worlds using the Knowledge of its Host as Forging Material.] [Detail: Worlds created by the Worldly Furnace are perfectly capable of being upgraded and enhanced over time.]

[Veserithorn's current existence has increased intensely.]

[But a warning has been issued.]

[Veserithorn has many capabilities above what it should have at this current level of Strength. It is recommended to exercise extreme caution during the more complex use of its abilities to avoid any negative reaction, so do not use your new powers clumsily, at least not until Veserithorn strengthens even more.]

(A/N: This is not a Nerf, he can use it as he pleases. Just some unpleasant consequences may arise, it's like giving a fully loaded Tank to a 7-year-old child to use at will, he will click on everything until some gigantic nonsense happens due to the actions of this child, who had total freedom with this 'greater power' in his hands.)

[The rewards involving the [Fire Ring] have been completely provided.]

[Do you wish to move on to the next rewards?]

A devastating silence in this gray space. A silence that lasted for tens of minutes, which turned into hundreds. Vesper's mind had left his body, being in a world exclusively his own: the World of imagination, the sensation of his body changing was extremely pleasurable, causing him to lose himself in countless thoughts. He felt even freer.

Perhaps it was a side effect? It was something Vesper initially thought, but he didn't care. He knew that [Veserithorn] would filter out any and every kind of threat or negative effect, and seeing that these new sensations didn't disappear: he understood it as something neutral or positive for him, causing Vesper to simply surrender completely to this pleasurable sensation.

He wanted to create. He wanted to destroy. He wanted to spread. He WANTED and knew he COULD, it wasn't just a silly desire. A sense of accomplishment and satisfaction filled his entire being, giving him a kind of 'astral orgasm,' poor Veserithorn, who had lost himself in pleasure.

This lasted for several hours in this gray and monotonous environment until he returned to himself. Panting. Very panting.

"That was *huf* incredible...!!" Vesper held his chest as he thought about what had just happened, his mind slowly returning to its original state.

"And to think it was just one of several rewards...~!!" His body trembled with excitement, craving more of this new strange and unfamiliar sensation, yet very much welcomed. He was like someone who had just felt competent and responsible for the first time in life, loving this feeling and wanting more. Much more.

"Move on to the next rewards, quick, quick, quick!" His excited state made him repeat some words, his happiness increasingly visible alongside a kind of anxiety.

[Eternal Spiral absorbed a feature of the {Gaping Dragon}.]

[A new Ability was created with the absorption of the feature.]

[Name: {Spatial Aberration[1]}] [Description: Allows the Body to be spread through the Space around, in the way the mind desires. In the way the mind comprehends.] [(+): {Manipulation and Generation of Limbs}]

(A/N: For better understanding, it's like the 'Pride' Ability from Fullmetal, as well as the Protagonist's Ability from ''Mr Devourer, Please Act Like a Final Boss''. It's still limited due to the low level but will improve and become stronger over time.)

A new and strange knowledge was inserted into Vesper's mind, while his spatial perception slightly increased. Vesper felt strange, very strange.

'I can what?' It was strange to think that he could create a mouth on each hand and make the hands kiss each other. Very strange.

'Who knows what I would have done if I had this Ability while I was in that state of euphoria and absolute pleasure...' Vesper's body trembled with this thought, his soul unconsciously longing for this strange experience. Perhaps one day.

"Correct me if I'm wrong." Vesper's trembling voice echoed in the gray space, still feeling strange with the thoughts he was having.

"This ability arose because the absorbed feature came from the strange limbs and body parts of the {Gaping Dragon}, right?"

[Correct.]

"So I can see why [Veserithorn] didn't consider this negative." He murmured to himself, no matter how much he denied it: it was absurdly powerful to be able to create new limbs during a battle.

Imagine wielding four war hammers, each on one arm: and attacking with all four at the same point, with the same strength and precision? It was simply ridiculous. This Ability alone opened up endless possibilities.

"I'll run hundreds of tests with this later." A decision had formed in Vesper's mind, a sensible decision.

"Move on to the next rewards."

[Understood.]

[The tail of the {Gaping Dragon} was perfectly severed. A weapon was generated through this absurd feat.]

[Name: {Dragon King Greataxe}.] [Rarity: Legendary] [Description: This axe, one of the rare dragon weapons, is formed by the tail of the Gaping Dragon, a distant, deformed descendant of the everlasting dragons.] [Passive effects: +30% Magic Damage, +30% Fire Resistance.] [Active effects: {Dragon King's Judgment} --> Strikes the Axe into the Ground with Force, generating a 360° explosion, pushing opponents away while damaging the energy residing within them.] [(+): This weapon can undergo [Upgrades] through the [Upgrade] function, using the new type of Currency from the System.]

"Fweh~~" Vesper grabbed the gigantic Axe that appeared in his Hands, impressed with it.

The Axe wasn't beautiful or crafted to look elegant, it was the total opposite. The Axe was rustic, had an old and extremely rugged appearance, it wasn't generated to show 'royalty' or generate 'admiration', it was the total opposite. This axe just by existing conveyed a sense of 'aggressiveness,' 'absolutism,' 'danger,' and 'oppression.' It was gigantic, its blade extremely thick, and it seemed to have been made to crush the flesh and bones of its opponent, rather than make clean cuts.

This weapon was the perfect fusion of both worlds: the World of Cutting and the World of Impact, capable of causing both types of damage, one on each side of the axe.

"You're beautiful. Absurdly beautiful." Vesper commented as he observed the Axe in his hands, which seemed to tremble with happiness at his praises, as if the will of this axe resonated with his desire. It wasn't surprising, considering that Vesper had the [First Flame] with him, and this axe came from the same world as the [First Flame].

"Rest assured that you will become my main weapon, we'll end everything~" He grabbed the axe and instinctively placed it on his back, where he felt something attaching before the axe disappeared completely. He didn't know why he did this, it was like something instinctive: and in the same way, this instinct proved true.

"Next reward~"

[The {Gaping Dragon} has been killed. A huge amount of [Experience] and [SOULS] was generated, and duplicated.]

[+10,000,000XP]

[+120,000 SOULS]

[The experience has been stored due to Veserithorn's order.]

[The SOULS have been properly deposited.]

[SOULS: The new 'Currency' of the System, used for all special functions: [Upgrade], [Fusion], [Missions], and in the future, new options.]

[Previously, SOULS were used to increase strength, but it is not recommended for Veserithorn to use SOULS in this way, as it will slowly affect his pure existence, which is still unstable due to being only the first of the five stages.]

[When Veserithorn reaches the Third Stage, SOULS can be converted without any problems, to greatly increase Veserithorn's strength.]

'A new currency at the same time as a new means to become stronger. I see no downsides to this, so I can spend all the experience on Masteries and not worry about other things.' Vesper thought happily, accepting this new information without any problem. It was quite the opposite, he had wished for this kind of thing for a LONG time.

"Advance to the last reward."

[Understood.]

[The Last reward has been successfully generated.]

[The Dungeon was able to generate the reward due to the temporary stoppage of time that left only the essence of the Dungeon out of its effect.]

[Dimensional, spatial, and temporal energy was used to generate the reward, [Veserithorn] provided considerable help for this.]

[The Reward has been properly modified to cover Veserithorn's weaknesses, instead of being anything (from a ruler as sharp as Excalibur to a planet as fragile as a marble).]

[The selected Weakness was: [Bare-Handed Combat].]

[The Reward has been adapted for this category.]

[Several fighting styles were considered, but almost all were disqualified for not matching Veserithorn's current state.]

[An appropriate fighting style was finally found.]

[Name: Kyotōryū - Flow of the empty sword{1}] [Description: Also known as Kyotō Yasuri, is a bare-handed fighting style described as "a hidden sword style that uses no sword," throwing away the need to use a sword while turning Veserithorn's own body into a sword.] [Effects: +{Sword Body}, +{Sword Intent}, +{Kyotōryū techniques}.]

[This martial art is incomplete, it was not finished by its creators, causing many postures and key strikes to not exist yet. As compensation, after Veserithorn masters this incomplete martial art, a New and better martial art will be provided to Veserithorn.]

"A... bare-handed combat style?" Vesper was a little dissatisfied. He didn't like hand-to-hand combat, or at least thought he didn't. He hadn't tried it yet, finding nothing appealing about hitting with his hands, he preferred to use gigantic weapons.

"Well, at least it's a 'two in one' reward since I'll receive a 'better Martial Art' later. I'll just dedicate myself to learning instead of complaining without even trying..." He murmured deciding to stop being ungrateful, especially when this decision was made to remove a supposed weakness of his.

'Sorry for that.' He apologized mentally to the System, which without his knowledge, seemed to shine a little brighter with happiness.

"The rewards have been properly given, and I understood everything. But how do I get out of here?" He asked confused as he looked around, which was completely gray.

[Fixing this problem.]

[Taking control of the Flow of Time.]

[-[Veserithorn] usurped the Destiny of a primordial Future of Time temporarily.]

[-[Veserithorn] forced time to become normal again.]

[-[Veserithorn] returned the Destiny of the unborn primordial Future.]

Time returned to normal.

''...'' Vesper stared incredulously at the last messages from the System, paralyzed.

''Vesper?'' Serie's confused and curious voice echoed behind Vesper, a few meters away, causing him to snap out of his current state.

He turned in Serie's direction and quickly dispelled the excessive barriers, approaching her and beginning to heal her with [SPELL: Heal], without worrying about being attacked this time.

''Are you feeling better?'' He asked, concerned, staring into the little elf's eyes.

Serie remained temporarily silent as she looked into Vesper's eyes in total silence, causing Vesper's concern to increase, making him visibly more nervous.

''Was your throat damaged? Is any other part hurting?'' Veserithorn looked at his elf friend worriedly, as she seemed to be staring at him in total silence.

Vesper's voice and constant questions made Serie snap out of her reverie, letting out an embarrassed cough.

''Y-yes, I'm fine, getting better thanks to your healing... You don't need to worry.'' She shook her head, dispelling Vesper's concerns, causing him to breathe a sigh of relief.

''Thank goodness...~!'' He uttered a simple word that was loaded with a huge amount of relief. ''I really don't know what I would do if I lost you, Serie. We'll have to fortify your body as soon as possible so that this kind of danger doesn't happen again!'' He began to ramble and express his concerns about the Elf, becoming quite absorbed to notice the look of fascination and surprise on the Elf's face.

They would still spend a good amount of time here healing the Elf's wounds, more time than necessary. Both failed to notice the passage of time.

-----

I could have made the chapter even longer, but I thought it would be strange to provide SO MUCH different "content": Power-Ups and normal story progression, so I decided to end it this way.

Vesper's power-ups were quite normal from the original part, which was the Dungeon's reward. All the other ridiculous stuff came from [Veserithorn] and the [Flame], which ended up making extreme changes to the plot due to their sudden appearance and the desire it instilled in Vesper.

I only realized when I wrote 'END' that the Name I decided for Dark Souls' Will is the same Name as the Future student of Serie, and Master of Frieren, has. A scary coincidence, perhaps I should do something involving that? What do you think?

...

With this chapter, I officially opened new paths to fulfill extremely interesting suggestions that were given to me before. So I'm proud to say that the plot will start progressing even more from now on.

Don't expect the final reward from the Dungeon to give absurd things to Vesper, it will only be ONE reward that has already been shown from the perspective of another extremely perfect creature~

I believe it is reward enough to compensate for everything. Maybe I'm a Simp, or just a Lucid Man.

...

The amount of changes I'll have to make in the information I leave noted about Vesper due to this chapter is making me cry. It's too much.

But well, it was worth it!

I hope you enjoyed the Chapter, by the way, the title of this chapter already says when all this 'Dungeon adventure' will end. And depending on my mood and the 'Feedback' from these chapters, I might end up making the remaining chapters of this Dungeon gigantic to provide more content and exploration.

So in the end, it all depends on you. But no pressure~! With bad 'Feedback' I'll still deliver normal chapters, so don't worry about feeling forced~.

...

Any suggestions?

Here.

Good morning/good afternoon/good night!
