By fluke i started rereading the book yesterday(cheaper) concidering its been three years, the art is alright and I like the bit of foreshadowing in the begining. However, there’s so much variation from the original that it feels like a half hearted knockoff in when looking at the small things like weapons, names, ages and events

Wow, after waiting for so long... the comic for Super Gene has finally been released. Hehe, although the art is not the best, at least I get to see the funniest moments... oh well, hope more chapters are rreleased.

the novel for this is good but the comic, as it is now, isnt that well made. it removes to much from the story leaving the chapters in the comic confusing and lacking any character development. i really wish they would slow down and nit remove so much because at this point the 25 coins per chapter isnt worth it.

Not faithfully translated compared to Novel, serious you guys couldnt even double check the terminology used in like your apps BIGGEST book for consistency, i hope noone buys this steaming pile of garage 💩

Its horrible. Everything about it is all wrong. I don’t know who did this but they need to be punished. Do not waste your time on this horribly disgusting excuse of a manhua adaptation.

I don’t understand how it’s as bad as it is. This was one of Webnovels best in the first couple of years of the app, so to see it treated like this is a disappointment. I’ve seen this happen to other series too, it’s clear that with a lot of these Webnovel original manhua they’re looking for quick money done cheap and easy. What’s worse is that now that we have an adaptation already there’s probably never going to be another attempt

the novel was amazing for the first 800 chapters and sort of fell off with the characters doing things as if they had the authors knowledge, but this abomination needs to be put down and erased from our memory and hearts.

Honestly, the book is better. I always wanted a comic made for super-gene but, this is rather disappointing. how are they going to have him holding Xuan on the cover? For those that read the novel, you will understand. The novel has better character growth in the first 5 chapters. This comic is downplaying novel. if im not mistaken, the novel says they can be 16 to go through the portal, not 18. His mother is not too weak to work. In the novel she works fine, just doesn’t make a lot of money. His dad didn’t just up and die. they really glossed over that detail. i literally only read the first chapter of this comic. i quess the person that translated the novel is not who is translating the comic. i think i like the name “sacred blood beasts” better. God’s sanctuary sounds better too. might be due to the novel but, ordinary, primative, mutant, and sacred have a better flow, rather than heavenly beast. The novel is better, has more detail, and you get more for cheaper. that is just my opinion though.

The original story was amazing and I will always support that version that was a masterpiece. This version now is trash and should be removed immediately. The artwork is very elementary and changing the names of the beast souls is ridiculous but most of all the worst thing that was done was changing the name of our beloved DOLLAR. Please if you actually care about this novel then just stop and do it over with the right artist and right names. Please do right by Super Gene. I can help if you need help. This could be the next big anime if done right.

Um, I don't want to get ahead of myself, but when I imagined the golden beetle armour whilst reading it seemed way cooler. im just gonna wait for a few more chapters before I decide to drop or cop.

unless they fix it like some of the reviews said I'm gonna drop for a bit and see and who TF is golden man?🤣 Like do the people who translate this not read the book? His name is Dollar for crying out loud.

No Jade skin. No dollar. Completely different world. This isn't even the same story anymore no point reading it just tarnishing super gene. Nothing is enjoyable.

dear artist , I think Han sen's would have been best if have kept it as dollar rather than golden man .as the original in the novel was much more funny.

The art is garbage (look at the cover). Also, the story started while talking about how Han Sen stole something, and then flashed back to the beginning for the remainder of the comic. What exactly was the point of mid story start? Read the novel if you want something decent.

This story is my one of the favourite story after solo leveling. And I would really love to see it get animated. But one thing i really didn't like is the name of Dollar and Jadeskin 😤 I mean...... Golden man... Seriously 😑 I hope if it ever gets animated the name of Dollar should be Dollar

It's unbelievable how they ruin such a good and successful novel by changing most of the plot! The editor of the plot adaptation from the novel to the comic has completely ruined the story. Wow, shame on him for ruining a masterpiece! It's amazing how one can mess up so much. Just stick with the original plot, why turn it into something completely different?

I’m a bit confused, in the novel the existence of the god gene was a secret only known to like the absolute top echelon existences, but in chapter 19 someone talks about how the MCs gene count is maxed except for the god gene and they are a starter planet plebeian. Where did they get this knowledge? Why is nothing named the same way? Why does it seem like its been machine translated by someone who doesn’t know how to put words together to make sentences?
