<How many times had it been?> (Baek-Hyun)

Chae Baek-Hyun didn't even know if it was the 4th or the 5th time he had suddenly lost consciousness. He was still lying on the stairs with his eyes closed. He didn't want to faint once again so he focused on listening his surroundings to assure himself that nothing was amiss.

"Oye....If you woke up tell me...…I'm behind you so you can open your eyes...." (Zerberos)

The monkey had sensed Baek-Hyun regaining consciousness somehow and called out to him. Hearing the voice of Zerberos, Baek-Hyun also understood that the monkey was around and supposedly behind his back so he sat down on the stairs and slowly opened his eyes. He was thinking what to do next he looked down the stairs when lo and behold what he saw was the same damn monkey choking a black wraith WWE style.

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhh...…." (Baek-Hyun)

Baek-Hyun shouted at the top of his lungs seeing the ghostly entities going at it but unexpectedly he didn't faint this time. He had slipped a few stairs downwards and had tightly shut his eyes but after sensing nothing happening for some time so making up his mind he once again looked at the wraith. This time as well didn't feel any sort of panic or fear, it was just a blank feeling like his trauma just evaporated into thin air.....

"WAIT!.....Why did I not faint this time?...…There is a 4 armed monkey ghost in front of me choking a god forsaken wraith.....I should have already gone down by now?" (Baek-Hyun)

It was quite shocking for him that he didn't faint even after seeing not one but two ghostly entities in front of him. Until now he had fallen unconscious quite a lot in his life whenever a ghostly entity was even slightly mentioned and he expected the same to happen once again but nothing of that sort happened which was what baffled him the most.

He couldn't get around this feeling of nothingness even after seeing two ghostly entities having a fight where one is clearly beating the shit out of the other in quite a hilarious manner.

"OH!...That's because this wraith possessing you was the reason for your fainting.....It made a connection with your soul. Any mention of ghostly entities in front of you made it aware of potential danger, so it shut you down to make it look like you are a scared butsua" (Zerberos)

Baek-Hyun had just heard the weirdest reason for his past trauma but it also somehow made sense. He was a mean bastard through and through, but how can such a person who even cursed his mother on her face be scared of measly ghosts? It was like he was always forced to fear these entities and it was a subconscious response rather than a conscious one.

Baek-Hyun fell into contemplation after hearing the monkeys reasoning and while repeating the exact dialogue of the monkey when he came up with a sudden question....

"Huh? 'Butsua' what's that?" (Baek-Hyun)

That was the most off topic question in the whole conversation till now and the monkey was clearly surprised as it didn't expect such a question being asked. The monkey had been 'Fighting' the wraith till now and was quite successful in beating the shi.... 'Cough' subduing the said wraith. It had reached a point where the wraith was barely alive with minimal energy sustaining its life and the wraith had turned gray from its usual pitch black color.

"Oh! its a local species in my home world. It's quite a small creature that is always scared of anything and everything.....It's a delicacy though, even when eaten alive....." (Zerberos)

The monkey answered with an expressionless face while trying a chokeslam at the already near 'Dead' wraith while staring up directly at Baek-Hyun who was sitting a few stairs above it.

Baek-Hyun felt like he was straying from the real topic but he continued thinking over it.

"Aa…..nanananana...…That's not the important thing...…I want to know how I was still possessed by that wraith after so many years....I had clearly remember seeing the wraith leaving my body after it possessed me." (Baek-Hyun)

He was sure that he had not once been possessed all these years as he actually saw the wraith escape the village after the villagers had beaten the shit out of him until he nearly died but how could the wraith still be inside him all these years. This made him fall into deep contemplation.

"Ahhh!.....That, Errrrrr...….Well it's one of the things related to me in a sense.....It's a forbidden technique I invented and it was used on you.....Errrrrr, You need to separate a wraith into two pieces for this technique to work. What you saw was the other part of the wraith leaving your body...seems like you came in contact with a heavenly angel or at the least and angels slave" (Zerberos)

The Monkey was trying to avoid direct eye contact like it had done some wrong to Baek-Hyun but these actions got it any attention from him as Baek-hyun was in his own world. This new information had totally shocked Baek-Hyun as he had never heard of anything like this. The word 'heavenly' was also ringing inside his head.

"What heavenly?..." (Baek-Hyun)

He asked as he had some idea of such entities from reading tons of mythological texts on the internet and it was one of his favorite pastimes that came right after 'being an asshole to everyone around him.'

"'Heaven' is an organization owned by my bastard kid.....He likes to call himself the heavenly creator. Well.....He has many angels under him and I think one of them knew you were going to have a powerful awakening so it decided to steal your awakening skills through the wraith method that I invented...." (Zerberos)

The monkey Zerberos answered with a serous tone and there were hints of anger and embarrassment in its voice hinting some past history with the organization and its current situation. All this was quite shocking to Bake-Hyun so he didn't pay attention to the facial expression of the monkey. He was in deep thought and quietly thinking of what was said.

"What is 'heaven'…..Is it like in the mythologies you hear about gods?" (Baek-Hyun)

Baek-Hyun clearly knew that 'Angels' were clearly associated with gods in mythologies and a monotheistic god can also be termed as an 'all creator' or 'heavenly creator' but he didn't understand why such bullshit was coming here into his own situation now.

"Huh? Mythologies? Isn't your planet under some god? You must certainly know as you must have a mana connection to your god.....You know, not acknowledging your worlds god will bring you its wrath, right?" (Zerberos)

Zerberos was also clearly taken aback as it didn't understand what Baek-Hyun was trying to say. To it, Gods were clearly dime a dozen in the universe. Some ruled individual planets while others ruled whole galaxies. Any mortal being born under the jurisdiction of a god's domain has a clear mana connection to their god as gods use the mortal populations faith to gain power. So Baek-Hyun saying that gods only existed in mythologies was clear blasphemy against the god of his world and quite absurd in its view.

"No, we don't have anything like that…..It hasn't even been 150 years since the advent of mana in our world…..How can such a thing like mana connection exist in this world?" (Baek-Hyun)

Baek-Hyun was also astonished as he was a firm agnostic person and learning that gods existed was one kind of a shock but finding that gods have mana connection with the people was also quite absurd in its own sense. Mana hadn't existed for even 150 years in his world so a god having mana connection in the past 'manaless' world sounded straight up like some made up bullshit by the monkey.

"'Advent of MANA' what's that? I never knew of any such phenomenon?" (Zerberos)

Zerberos was a Demon lord who was also a Demi-God of the highest ranks and had been alive for more than few million years before it got caught in a trap and was stuck in this dungeon but it had never heard of anything of a phenomenon like 'Advent of Mana' while it was free.

"Huh? Mana didn't even exist in our world before 112 worlds. One day it suddenly sprouted and at first just some animals turned into monsters which was definitely controllable but then dungeons started sprouting like in the mangas, exploding here and there spreading rapid destruction across the world. Didn't your world go through the same or are you some other kind of being?" (Baek-Hyun)

For Zerberos this new information was like getting hit in the back of its head by no regular hammer but a Gold-Mithril hammer. Mana was the fundamental energy for all the living beings inside the universe and life existing without mana didn't make sense to it.

<What is a Manga? Wait! that's not the damn point!> (Zerberos)

"What the fuck? There is no such thing as 'advent of mana', mana is the basis of all universe, it existed even before the gods were born and even before the system took place.....If your world didn't have mana before last 100 years then it means your world is either in a separate universe with a different type of base energy. On the other hand if your world is really inside the same universe I was born in then there is only one place where your world can exist...." (Zerberos)

After giving an informative lecture to Baek-Hyun, Zerberos fell into a deep thought and was mumbling gibberish which didn't get picked up by Baek-Hyun. It was thinking of anything that justified the situation Baek Hyun had told it while Baek-Hyun was also getting curious as to what conclusion the monkey will draw.

"Where?" (Baek-Hyun)

"The Manaless Void....It is a place that was formed during the primordial era when gods were just being born and the primordial beasts died. Even mortal life was yet to germinate..….But no mortal life form can exist inside the void. That was supposed to be the consensus as the osmotic mana difference will suck the being out of all its mana faster than a Demi-God Succubus can. It will kill any living being that gets close to it....even gods avoid that place like it is some form of plague…....." (Zerberos)

Zerberos once again fell into deep contemplation as it was tying to figure out what was happening when it suddenly shouted.......

"FUCK!!" (Zerberos)

Zerberos was so shocked that the wraith it was holding in one of its arms died due the sudden pressure exerted by it and the wraith simply vaporized into a gray smoke.

"WHAT HAPPENED!" (Baek-Hyun)

Seeing such an intense reaction from the monkey, Baek-Hyun was also quite astonished as the monkey seemed like a really calm person till now. He was just trying the imagine what kind of 'Heaven' defying situation was making this calm and collected monkey become so restless all of a sudden.

"Nothing, I just figured out what's happening....I'll tell you a bit about myself so listen carefully and you will understand what is going on in your world....You guys are in some deep shit if I am right." (Zerberos)
