Chapter 58

Vox smiled like a fool as he saw the cards he had drawn. Reniares had already left, he sat there alone like an idiot smiling like one as well.

"300.... so many Exodia pieces.. So many DNA cards...HehehehehehehhahahahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

"SHUT UP! WE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!" Samuel shouted a top he lungs for being interrupted in a great dream.

"Ina is sleeping! be fucking quiet you two!" Alan shouted as well from his room, the ship was fairly big for being so small.

"Hey sis-con! STOP SHOUTING YOU ARE MAKING IT WORSE!" Sam screamed at Alan from her own room.

"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!? I just care for my sister!"

"Oh yea!? then why the fuck do you keep checking her door every 10 fucking minutes!?"

"Wha-? I did not do that! Don't listen to her Ina!"

"CAN ALL OF YOU FUCKING SHUT UP?" Curran shouted as whipping sounds from her room quieted down.

"Masterrrrr more" A feminine sound came from the room but no one paid any mind to it.

'What the fuck did I just cause...' Vox listened to everything speechless. He was just happy for his cards.. Ignoring the shouting he first decided to do what must be done first. Check the recording at how Blackbeard steals devil fruits.

Vox took out the card and crushed it into light particles that formed a hologram. Vox looked attentively at what happened.

In the recordings, Teach walked close to Whitebeard and first spit on his corpse.

"Gahahaha, Pops, everyday I was so jealous of your powers, but now see, I am alive and you are dead. Your power will soon be mine as well! Gahahahah!" Teach said as he stabbed Whitebeard with the special dagger in the heart. To make it not so obvious, he used the hole in his chest to stab it.

Afterwards he sat down and played with his dark dark fruit like a kid.

"This dagger is special, as it is a heirloom from my ancestors. It never explained what material it was made from, but if it is stabbed in the body of an alive or a recently deceased person, it will stop the Devil powers from leaving the body and finding a suitable fruit to inhibit. Instead it acts as a container that can be used to transfer down to the next person.

The reason the 6 great Devil Fruits can do that is unknown to me, but I know there is a link in between them, I just have to collect all of them. And this fruit makes the impossible possible." Teach grinned menacingly as he felt the dagger stop humming.

He walked towards it and pulled the dagger out then looked at the dead Whitebeard and said.

"If you use the dagger as the medium to transfer fruits, it does not activate the curse and let up to 3 Devil Fruits reside in one body in harmony." Teach then stabbed the dagger in his heart.

"And the way to give the fruit is by stabbing them in the heart. Gahahahaha! This will kill if no devil powers reside in the dagger, but when it does, all damage is healed right after it being pulled out. Hey Pops, how strong would you have been if you could use 3 powers? Gahahaha I will give you an example with 2! As only the strongest Devil Fruit is worthy of being the 3rd!"

Teach then waited a bit until the dagger stopped Vibrating and he pulled it out of his heart, perfectly healthy.

Vox stopped the recording but was disappointed. He had expected Teach being special, but to think it was the dagger.

'At least now I can give the kids more devil fruits without relying on my DNA cards, as I will need them to combine not 2, or 3, but as many compatible powers as possible!' Vox then walked out of the Cabin, still ignoring all the noise and went to where teach was being confined and watched by the hounds.

Not even bothering to talk to him, he shot a beam of lightning at his body to make him barely alive. He did not want to kill him, just to shut him up.

He then took out 3 cards from his deck and used the first, turning it to golden particles.

"DNA Checkup, Activate."

[Ding!

"DNA Surgery, Activate"

Ignoring all other options, he instantly activated that one. Teacher's body shook and Vox realized that he might die if he did nothing. Clicking his tongue he used a spell card to heal him up a bit.

After a few minutes he stopped shaking and with a System notification, Vox knew the fusion was over. Not bothering with anything he used another DNA Surgery to get rid of the curse that was still on it. He also made sure to beat Teach unconcious.

Vox then took out another card from his deck and turned it to golden light.

"DNA Transplant Activate." Vox said and commanded what to transplant from whom and to whom. Aka, the new mix devil fruit gene from Teach to himself.

Falling on the ground in pain, it did not take long for him to start feeling better. A few minutes later and all signs of pains were gone from his face.

'Damn, that hurt like hell, DNA surgery was not that bad..' Vox thought as he took out another DNA Surgery and used it on himself.

Clicking on the option [Combine XXXX-Creating Gene and Lightning creating Gene.] Vox felt once again a bit of pain, but definitely not as bad as before. He just sat down for it to finish.

[Ding!

Combined new gene, XXXX- Creating Gene.]

Vox then decided to name it, after thinking a long time and realizing that he might give it a horrible name, he remembered a certain Phenomenon he saw from an Anime in the past. Black Lightning that tore space like a mirror due to their power and a certain card from Yugioh that was banned for so long.

"Raigeki, Rumble Rumble Varient Fruit." Vox smiled at his great naming sense.

(AN: I made that anime up btw, I honestly know no such anime with black lightning that shattered space. Sure black lightning I have seen, but shattering space? That I have not.)

Vox then used his powers just to instantly turn it off as he felt the surrounding catch fire. Using his shirt to get rid of the fire, he heaved a sign of relieve.

'Damn.. how the hell did the heat get up!? It was Dark and Quake in a mix... Whatever, I need to test it.' Not daring to use his powers near the ship. He first threw Blackbeard body out in the ocean for the Sea Kings to feast on, he then used a small raft/boat and roed away from the ship.

The others who were still awake, which was everyone because of the constant shouting, saw him leave and were speechless.

"BROTHER DON'T LEAVE! WE DON'T BLAME YOU!" Ina cried seeing Vox trying to leave because of guilt. The others however just looked at him with a scared face. One collective thought running through their heads.

'Please don't sing! Please don't sing!'

There is a story behind their actions, once they did a small family trip on an island in the calm belt and Vox decided to sing.

Let's just say the Sea Kings did not take a liking to it. 1 Sea King might not be much, but what about dozens? hundreds? or thousands?

Not wanting to entertain them with his majestic voice, Vox just roed further away until he was away by a good kilometer.

Flicking his hand upwards a pillar of purple lightning shot out, but unlike before, whatever it passed through cracked sending shockwaves that looked like lightning strikes striking wood. Aside from that the Lightninf itself had a deep black outline to it, making it look menacing.

The biggest difference Vox felt was that the Lightnings temperature had seemingly increased, but aside from the obvious Quake Quake Fruit features, the Darkness on the outline counted as Haki in a way, or that is what it felt like.

Vox did multiple tests afterwards, some which made a giant hole at the sea that seemed to spawn endlessly, and also creating a giant whirlpool because of it and getting scolded by everyone on the ship for almost killing them.

Vox also realized that if he wanted to, he could give the fruit to someone else, like an inheritance... Deciding to ignore that as he does not wanna give the fruit to anyone anytime soon, or ever for that matter.

'Let's leave the testing for later, I gotta sleep. tomorrow more cards will become *alive* With the insane amount of useless monster cards i got.
