Chapter 57

In the middle of the ocean, a small boat and a ship with a pirate flag was floating silently next to each other. Atop the ships deck 2 men were drinking.

"Any idea what he is planning?" A red haired man with a scar across his eye said to the man sitting across him.

"No, but I am sword vibrates in excitement for the future." The man let out a smile as he touched the gigantic sword at his back.

"Bro, you need to really chill with that, people might misunderstand..." The red haired man said as he downed his bottle.

"Shanks...how come you were late.. Knowing you, you would run across the ocean if it meant stopping a war." The other man said a bit puzzled, this friend of his would never allow such a war to happen, not when his friends are fighting in it, and Whitebeard pirates were friends with the Roger pirates. Not coming earlier, He lost many of his friends in that war.

"Some fuckers from the WG came in the way. We fought for a few days until they were forced to retreat, but at that point it was already too late..." Shanks shook his head a bit saddened by the fate of his friends.

"Mihawk, do you think I should have joined the war instead of stopping it.." Shanks said as he took out another bottle to drink away the sadness.

"If you did then those hidden would have taken actions..." Mihawk shook his head, there were 4 people hiding in the air, 2 of which were not from the marines as the have met before. But the other 2...

"Fucking WG, they did not even help the marines... The 5 elders must be pissed by now." Shanks smashed the bottle at the deck of the ship, breaking it into pieces.

"They are no weaker than us... With Whitebeard gone, The future looks bleak.." Shanks released a sigh. The WG has many secret divisions, but only 1 is known to to the marines, the others are not.

"We can't make a movement, only those with the Will of D. can kill that monster..."

"Vox D. Skaarf..." Mihawk said remembering the lightning that annihilated everything in it's path.

"No.." Shanks shook his head.

"He does not bear the Will of D. He might be a D. but he is not the bearer..."

"Who is the bearer then." Mihawk asked a bit stunned, he did not expect their best bet to not count!

"Monkey D. Luffy, Portgas D. Ace and lastly, Celeste D. Nova, the Storm Queen."

"The Storm Queen can only fight him when she has one of the 3 god fruits...Awakend at that.." Mihawk shook his head, The Storm Queen although strong was not viable.

"Yes, but she resently awakened her Star Star Fruit, all she needs is the Gravity Gravity Fruit and-"

"And that could have already been eaten, You know the WG keeps a tight look on all of it's eaters and if it was found in fruit form, then it will be over for them. We have not seen it in decades, how are you sure it is still out there and not long confisticated by the WG.." Mihawk interrupted him as he found Shanks putting so much hope on something uncertain is not helpful.

"I have a feeling." Shanks grinned and Mihawk just stayed silent.

A few minutes of silence and drinking he released a sigh and stood up.

"Well, I will watch over the Monkey kid and keep an eye on Vox, even if he does not bear the Will of D. he can still fight against the enemies just like me and you. His strength proves it." With that he walked to the edge of the ship and jumped down onto his boat.

Shanks looked at him leaving until he was no longer visible.

"Ben, we sail to the New World. Let's stabilize the situation until Ace grows a bit." Shanks sad down and watch the sea as the wind hit him in the face.

'Things are looking up Selena.. Just a bit more and I will have our revenge.. ' He thought as the figure of a woman formed in the sea. She was a slim woman that had black hair and a beauty that would even make Hancock feel ashamed to be in her presence. Her bigger than usual stomach and the radiant smile seemed to draw him into the sea.

Unknown to Shanks, he already was standing on the railing of the ship, to jump into the embrace. But a firm hand touched his shoulder breaking the imagine in the water.

"Captain..We still a have business to settle." Ben said as he felt saddened by their captains current state.

Shanks looked around and saw his core members look at him with sadness written all over their faces.

"Ahahaha, I wanted to take a bath, but let's drink, all on me!" Laughed he picked up a bottle and drowned it in a few seconds.

The crew looked at him for a few seconds before joining them. They all know the story, they all know his condition, but it is these moments when he drinks that forgets all of it and just lives in the moment.

"Ohhhhhh!!" Everyone shouted and picked up a bottle to drink with him.

Far away in the calm belt, a ship was sailing, this ship was full of all kinds of weird creatures that even the sea kings feared approaching it. Naturally the aura released by a select few was the cause for it. Inside a cabin in the ship, a man slowly woke up to a massive headache. Looking around, he saw himself being tucked into a bed and a beautiful woman sleeping while leaning against the arm of the chair next to him.

Unconsciously smiling the man stood up and flicked her head with his finger softly.

"Reniares, wake up."

"Vox- Master, you are awake!" The woman, Reniares instantly stood up with rosy cheeks as she held him in a hug. She was worried that something happened to him when she came in to give him some food but found him unconcious on the floor.

"I am fine, can you please not strangle me." Vox softly said with a bot of difficulty as he softly tapped her on the back like how they do when someone gives up in a wrestling match. His body needed a few days to recover.

After a few minutes of Reniares blushing while apologizing, she finally left to get him something warm to eat. Alone in his room, Vox decided to first check on his harvest. He had killed many marines and 2 admirals on top of that. His harvest is bount to be insane.

Looking at the notifications, his mouth was wide open. 'Holy shit! am rich!' Vox thought when he looked at all of it.

'Definitely not gonna pull a Japanese Anime MC here.' Vox thought as he remembered how those virgins would have girls all over them yet they never did anything. How hateful it was watching it. JUST DO IT!

"We...might destroy the ship...my race tends to be...over stimulated...during the...act." She blushed but her radiant smile definitely betrayed her inner thoughts.

"Oke!" Reniares said beaming in happiness, she then put the food down on t side of the bed and tried to feed Vox, who looked at her with a speechless expression.

'Was that an act!? No way, my angel would never.' Quickly shaking his head out of the false thoughts he let himself be fed like one of those fat kings that could not even move their hands. It is just, he was not fat.

'Success! Forma was right that it would work!' Reniares instead was thinking something entirely different.

'Should I propose? No, too soon.. hmm, maybe I should go ask Amanda, she knew how to handle her marriage.. Then again, she did cheat on her husband with me... How about some relationship advice from Mihawk... No... does that man even date anything other than his sword.. Ugh..'

Deciding to think over it later, Vox looked at the woman sitting next to him in pure bliss.
