Chapter 4

When Vox saw the huge bag, he was speechless 'Just how many ships did they destroy... at least keep the ships!'

"Did you keep a ship? in condition to sail?" Vox asked a bit speechless.

"Yes Master, we captured a ship from those calling themselves pirates, 4 were destroyed in the fight, Sentinel is watching over the ship and the treasures inside." Night Wing did a bow and spoke.

"4 Ships? how did you find that many in the outskirts of the island?"

"There were none in the outskirts master, Sentinel sensed some people polluting the see and he went towards them in a fit of rage and destroyed 3 ships and killed everyone in them, I was barely able to put him back in a card form before he destroyed the fourth."

'Motherf*cker! Those ships can be sold for millions! or we could use them ourselves!' Vox was speechless, this sentinel needs special help.

"What about the treasures from the other ships?"

"After I dealt with the last ship, I summoned him to take the treasure from the sunken ships but he again went in a fit of rage as he was about to go in a different direction, so I had to turn him in a card form."

"...."

"Well... will he attack us as well?" honestly, he doesn't know and does not wanna try it before he has a strong guardian or he is strong enough himself.

"How is he watching the ship if he can't even keep his rage!" Vox was dumbfounded.

"I tried him to a rope that was tied to a tree near the ship and told him if he goes beyond the ropes length that Master will be mad." Night Wing said as she lowered her head.

"At least you are smart, thanks Night Wing."

Looking at his cards, he was in a dilemma, he could tribute for Mechanical Hound or Cyber Dragon, but it is easy to special summon cyber dragon, just pick a fight with a pirate and have the other cards not summoned. Then kill all of them the get rid of witnesses. But Night Wing has been very helpful and Sentinel, although having a personal problem, still secured enough funds. He also saw the sparkling eyes from Ina when she was looking at Nigh Wing Sorceress, he could give it to her as a guard later when he has better cards for himself.

Deciding to wait until he has more cards, Vox looked to see Ina and her brother lying next to each other, if it was summer, things would be troublesome. but it still is not good for the kids to sleep outside. Now that he has some money, it is time to get a real doctor for the kid.

"Night Wing, turn back into a card." As Vox said that the purple haired sorceress broke down in particles of light as it formed a card in his hand. He woke up Ina and carried the kid then walked into the city.

It took them about an hour to arrive at a doctors house. They stayed for the remainder of the day until the boy, whose name is Alan after Vox asked Ina, was patched up correctly this time. It cost Vox quite a bit of money but he had enough Beli left to commence with his plans.

The next day Alan woke up and after Ina explained to him everything, tears streamed down his face, though he tried his best not to show them to his sister.

"Thank you for your help." Alan said as he tried to extend his hand, only to grimace in pain.

"Just stay here and heal, we will leave this place next week. Besides, there needs to be no thanks between family." Vox smiled as he rubbed his head.

"I have some stuff to do, here is some money, wait until I come back." Vox handed them 100.000 Beli and went out.

Night Wing had brought back a total of 10 Million Beli in cash and a few minerals such as gold and diamonds that could sell for about 5 million more. saving some for emergencies, Vox had 5 million to spend as he liked right now and he was going on a shopping spree.

Vox walked out of the doctors place and told them to let Alan rest for a week, the cost was already paid before so the doctor had no problem with it.

Walking towards the slums, Vox went towards a fairly dark place where the slave market was. There are 3 reasons why Vox is not just killing everyone here and freeing the slaves.

'I don't know the slaves background, many could be rapists, murderers and or worse, only the children could be innocent and even those might not be. Then is there the fact that I don't if I am strong enough, if Night Wing Sorceress is strong enough to kill everyone. And lastly the marines are obviously in cahoots with the slave traders, so the moment I do that I will get a bounty on my head and be forced into becoming a pirate.'

'There is also the fact that I need loyal people most, and the best way to gain loyalty is being by their light in a dark world.'

As he was thinking he was already in front of the desk. There a woman was standing with a color around her neck trying to show her best smile.

"How can I help you sir?" The woman said

"Buying products." Vox said as he did not bother to hide his face. The womans face did not change at all, she was already used to this.

"What kind of products would sir need?"

"Kids"

"Very well, please follow after the woman in green." The woman said as she pointed at another women with a color around her neck in a green dress.

Vox did not say anything and walking with her, who in turn also kept quiet with a stoic face as she lead him through a door that lead underground.

Not long later they reached the place where the kids are being locked in. Vox slowly observed each and every one of them, the majority was scared of him while a few had just a blanc look in their eyes, already having given up on life. there were 4 kids however that were different. 3 girls and 1 boy, all of which were similar in appearance, the 4 of them had blood red hair with handsome features, but the most notable thing was their eyes. They pupils were red with some white going out from inside of it, like lightning that came out of the iris.

"I want these 4" Vox said without hesitation, his instincts screamed to him that these kids are special and he will nurture them to be the strongest he can make them.

"I am sorry sir, they were bought just an hour ago."

"I don't care, I want them, how much?"

"Not for sale, we don't go back on our word, our business thrives on trust between the client and us." A man came from behind. He was wearing all black with a black hate and a mask to hide his face.

"tsk" clicking his tongue, Vox decided to keep looking. in the end he found 3 kids that still had the will to live without being scared of him. All 3 were boys, 1 of which had a sister that he bought as well. Although she feared him, he doesn't care.

The sibling pair were 12 and 10 respectively with the girl being the younger one, both had tanned skin with black hair and brown eyes. The boy was called Samuel while the girl was Samantha, also called Sam.

The other boy was Kahn, his eyes although brown were giving off a threatening aura that Vox found very interesting. he had blue hair that was also cut short.

The last one was called Erik, The only remarkable feature of his was the green hair on his head. He was reminded of Zoro and decided to take him as well.

After buying them, Vox decided to somehow get his hands on the other 4. His instincts just screamed for him to get them no matter what.

"That will be 3 Million Beli." said the masked man

"3 million? humans are at most 500.000 each..." Vox said in a threatening voice, which the masked man not even Pay attention to.

"Adults, yes, kids have more uses, hence they are more expensive. Take it or leave it."

"Tsk, take it. get them ready. I will pick them up tomorrow, make sure to have them in good clothes and be clean." Vox gave 500.000 extra for the clothes and the treatment which the masked man gladly accepted.

The reason Vox did not take them right now is because he saw someone taking the 4 red haired kids away, although the masked man saw why he wanted to leave, he doesn't care. As long he does not make trouble in his business spot, he would not care even if the kids were stolen.

As Vox got out of the house, he saw the kids being taking through an Alleyway, smirking Vox followed after, with a card in his hand.
