After a while, Wendy started grow sharp red hair all around her back. and on her limbs. Vox touched those hairs and it instantly went through his finger, if Vox had not had a Logia fruit, he would have lost his finger.

'Wow, and that is only at the base of it too, The potential of this fruit with Haki is so high. Not to mention her hairs don't seem to hurt her at all.' Vox saw how Wendy was moving around without being bothered by the hairs. It looked like a lions mane(If anyone has Zoroark from pokemon, kind of similar).

"Wendy, don't use that in friendly spars, your will hurt someone with it."

"Oke~" Wind smiled as she ran at a dummy.

'Maybe the hairs pierced her brains?' Vox thought and decided to ignore her antics.

It did not take long Alan also started showing some signs. He put his hand on the ground and it turned the earth underneath his hand into metal. Then he put a rock in his hand and turned it to iron, then to ice, water until he felt tired and the now piece of wood feel on the ground.

Everyone looked at him in shock, and Vox was no exception.

"My fruit is the Wish Wish Fruit. It gives it's eater a certain magical energy that can grant wishes. Once this Energy runs dry the user get's tired. Any wishes at are too big for the energy to sustain uses the life force of the eater."

"Is there a limit on the wishes?" Vox asked somewhat shocked. A fruit that Grant's wishes? that has to be stupidly overpowered.

"Brother Vox, while the fruit is good, it is not amazing. If I make a wish too big for my magical energy to sustain, my life gets reduced, the harder something to achieve the more energy it requires. For example if I were to wish for one of these fruits, I would probably die as the cost." Alan smiled wryly.

"Well, it is with you now. So try your best to improve it and increase that energy." Vox patted his shoulder and Alan went to the side to rest and recover.

He then looked at Lucy, she showed no signs of it. Vox thought that she just took longer to understand her fruit, he let the others go back to their training and waited for Lucy.

About 30 minutes later Lucy fell on the ground, then a terrifying cold spread from her body, instantly knocking the kids unconscious. Even Vox barely held on his conciousness because of his logia devil fruit.

He looked one as Lucy's body gave off chilling cold energy off in all directions, the temperature dropped to -50 at least.

"HOUNDS, SILVER! TAKE THE KIDS OUT!" Vox shouted and zapped towards Alan. With the help of his summons he managed to get all of them outside in just a few seconds. Vox also put all of his lv 1 to 4 monsters in card form and had the stronger ones retreat.

Looking back at the training ground that was now covered with ice. Vox's mind went into overdrive.

'What the hell is going on! Don't tell me!" Opening his eyes wide in shock, Vox took out a card from his deck and zapped inside the training ground. The temperature had already fallen below 100 degrees Celsius.

He looked at Lucy who was squirming in pain, not even able to scream. Her legs were changing from Icy blue and transparent crystals. Vox's instincts told him that if he did not do anything, she would definitely die. Also, the fact that her body raptured like dry earth made it clearer.

"Activate! Red Medicine!" Vox used the spell card to heal her body, which seemed to work, but after the effect of the card was finished, her body raptured once again.

'Fucking hell, everytime I get a good card, I am forced to using it.' Cursing his luck once again, Vox took out a card from his deck.

"Trap card, DNA Surgery! Activate!" The trap card turned into light and went inside Lucy's body. Then Vox saw a screen pop in front of his eyes.

When Vox saw the list, he was shocked. '2 DEVIL FRUITS?! What the hell! Lena only had 1!' Even though his thoughts were in denial and anger, he still selected the option to combine the Gene's. This card has no side effects, it always finds the perfect options and if an option has a side effect, it does not show up.

After 2 hours the cold finally subsided. Vox was already freezing, if it was not for the Rumble Rumble Fruit. Even if he had Flame Flame Fruit, he would have not been able to stay here. 'The combination of Ice and Wind is terrifying, now it also has Crystal's added to it. No wonder that woman called them the perfect products, 2 devil fruits combined. But why did Lena only have one? I need answers but I am too weak to get them. An organisation that can do something even the world government can't, just how terrifying strong are they.' Vox walked towards Lucy and was about to pick her up hut stopped. Her body must be in so much pain right now. He looked at his deck and took out another spell card he got recently.

Right away the card turned to light and went to the Skye, a few seconds later rain started to fall down and whenever it touched Lucy, her wounds would heal at a rapid rate. Vox could even hear her bones going back to places and melding together. The card he used was Rain of Mercy, capable of healing everything in a large range. It was a fairly powerful spell, but it was not worth risking Lucy's life for it.

'And just as I was hoping I could use the card to improve my talents... Maybe even strengthen my devil fruit.' Shaking his head he carefully carried Lucy and walked towards the mansion. Outside the kids were all waiting and when they saw Vox coming out with Lucy in his hands. They started crying.

"Whaa Sister, don't leave us Sniff" Wright wailed and rushed towards Vox.

"She is not dead, just tired. Be quiet and let her sleep!" Vox whisper/shouted at the children and especially Wright.

"Forma, Psy, bring the kids inside and give them some warm milk. And bring me a few litres of tee, I am freezing." He then summoned the monsters he put into card form before and gave Lucy to Night Wing to take care of.

Inside his study room, Vox was tapping this desk in front of him as he furrowed his brows. Not long afterwards Night Wing came inside.

"How is she?" Vox asked her as he stopped his tapping.

"Mystical Elf checked on her and said she needed rest, she also used a few more heals and a few spells to hopefully lessen the mental damage she might have taken after the extreme pain she may have been through." Night Wing looked at him a bit fidgety.

"What is it Night Wing, say it." Vox looked at her in the eyes.

"Master, why did that happen to Lucy?"

"Sigh...It was the fault of humans greed Night Wing, humans always try ways to gain more strength, longer lives, more wealth. Only a few of them don't chase such things. And these kids, are victims of their greed." Vox drank his tee and poured himself another one.

"You mean the others as well?"

"Yes, the Fullbring family are results of experiments to gain more power, The sky family are results of the greed for more wealth, Kahn is a result of greed for wealth and unfounded vengeance, the Redrocks are results of people stepping down on others to climb higher. Erik is probably the same as the others. All of them are results of the human sins." Vox then drank his tea in one gulp and poured himself another one, visible agitated.

"But master, you are also human and you are helping these kids." Night Wing walked towards him and tried to give him a hug, she saw that he was frustrated, as if something was about to blow. And blow it did.

"Hahah, Me? I am training them like they are my personal army, giving them fruits that will only be used for my personal goals, I am no better than those FUCKERS WHO EXPERIMENTED CHILDREN! NO BETTER THAN THOSE WHO SOLD THEM FOR MONEY..." Vox picked up his cup of tea and smashed it at the wall.

"If I was better than them, I would let them just enjoy life. do what they want to do, not fight for my purpose." Vox sat down on his chair and started tapping his chair handle in rytmetic intervals.

"Master, you were the one who took them out of that hell. And-" Night Wing tried to cheer him on, but was cut of by Vox.

"And I am the one who will put them back into it, the cycle always continues. Leave me alone, I want to think."
