(11)breakfast with Pegasus,duel monster origins,and Rosaria’s request part 2
Now before I begin this chapter I have a request for you,the viewers.
As I've come to realize reading the jojo's manga and watching the anime,I've come to 1 realization…there are too many damn characters,references and events to keep track of on my own!!
So because of that,could I request you all to lend me a hand in keeping track of that? Not all at once but we all take it one part at a time.
I know that it's shameless,but I don't know how to offer positions to people(if I can even do that)
So when we open a new part gacha for Jonah,we all can brainstorm on the new part and what should be card worthy.
Now with that out of the way…onto the chapter!!!

(Pegasus castle,early morning)
In the castle,the servants were doing their morning preparations,butlers setting a dinner table,maids cleaning the castle grounds.
The birds were chirping and the morning dew was shining from the rays of the morning sun.
And in one room a commotion was happening.
"Hey Jonah! Cmon wake up man the morning sun is beautiful!" A voice says to Jonah who was curled up in his covers.
"Nerancha,what time is it?" Jonah asks,as he went to sleep at around one in the morning,and he wanted to get at least 8 hours of sleep before he had to get up.
"It's 9:30." Nerancha says,prompting Jonah to get up and change into his clothes again,this time he wore a dark blue shirt and some gray jeans,he may be in an anime world but he doesn't want to wear the same thing all the time.
"Looking good Jonah!"
Nerancha who looked at Jonah complimented Jonah on his fashion sense,the contrast of light and dark did well for him.
"Alright let's go get some breakfast,im a bit hungry." I say as we both walk out of our room and go down the corridor.
"Excuse me miss,could you point me to the dining room or the kitchens at least?" Jonah asks a maid who was vacuuming the area rug.
"Oh certainly! Take the hall past me and take a right at the end of the hall." The maid says pointing a finger behind her.
"Thanks miss,you really need a map here don't you?" I say jokingly,making the old lady laugh.
So resuming my walk to the dining room I follow the directions the maid said,taking my time to walk down the hall I see a couple of paintings,one of a younger Pegasus next to a beautiful blond woman.
"If I remember correctly,this is Cynthia Crawford,Pegasus' wife." I explain to nerancha who was looking at the painting with me.
(A/N: has the name of his wife ever been mentioned in the series?)
"She's beautiful." He said before we began our walk to the dining room.
As I get to the end of the hall I see some chefs holding two dinner plates,following them I open the door and see a large dinner table with two plates of food and various juices and a pot of coffee.
At the end one plate was open as Pegasus was enjoying an omelet and a fruit bowl.
"Ah Jonah boy! Glad you can make it,please take a seat." He says pointing to a seat next to him,a covered dinner plate next to him.
"Morning Pegasus." I say as I take a seat next to him and began making myself a cup of coffee.
As I add four sugar cubes into it and add a dash of milk I take a sip,noticing Pegasus was looking at the pendant I got last night.
"Beautiful isn't it?" I say holding up the pendant for Pegasus to look at,"this is a special pendant I got during a trip to china,my childhood friend invited me and an old man gave me this pendant,said that you can use it as a medium to talk to dead loved ones at the cost of a drop of blood." I explain as Pegasus takes a closer look.
"Fascinating,did he sell them?" Pegasus asks as I shake my head no.
"From what I remember,he said this was the only one to exist,tell me Pegasus,do you have anyone you wish you could meet again?" I ask him,as I see him make a saddened expression.
"Yes,when I was younger I met my wife at a party my father was hosting,she and I truly cared for each other,I remember when I proposed to her like it was yesterday." He says as his eye soften,as if remembering a happy memory.
"Well…what happened to her?" I ask as I cut open the omelet and see cheese,bacon and bell peppers are inside.
"She died to an unknown illness,after her passing I was distraught with grief,that I looked into ways to bring her back." He says prompted nerancha to speak.
"Wait why would you bring her back from the dead? Won't their always be a price?" He asks.
"Nerancha,That's not something you should ask." I say I'm a quiet voice.
"Why not? It's not like he can hear me." He says before I hear a cough from Pegasus.
"Actually I can hear you just fine." He says as I take a bite of watermelon from the fruit bowl.
"Apologies for nerancha,he's got the sensitivity of a potato." I say ,making Pegasus chuckle.
"Well Pegasus,how about we test my pendant to see if what that old man said is true?" I say placing the pendant in front of him,making him look at me with curiosity and a bit of doubt.
"Why would you help me,I'm a stranger to you." He says as I turn the pendant around to its back and find a sharp needle embedded into a groove.
"I know why you made this tournament,and I made a promise to yugi I'd get his grandpa back,so please trust me…I don't want to see you sell your sould just to see you lose everything." I say with every ounce of empathy in my being,and I see Pegasus,crying?
"You're a good kid Jonah boy,but what if this pendant is a lie?" He asks as I nod my head,I can understand his point.
"Maria once told me that sometimes,we need to take a leap of faith,and if it turns out it wasn't meant to be,at least we tried."
(A/N: I know it sounds cringe,but I'm using stuff my grandma (god bless her soul ) said to me when I was a child.)
Pegasus looks at me before I see him smile,and using a napkin to wipe away his tears he picks up the needle and pokes his index finger just enough to draw blood and puts the droplet onto the red jewel.
As soon as he did the jewel brightens the room as it lights up,"I wish to see Cynthia Crawford."
As Pegasus says that the light dims and we see a floating figure of his deceased wife looking at Pegasus with a smile.
"Hello Pegasus dear."

For those wondering why I gave Pegasus that pendant from the last chapter,I always felt bad for the man,so I made the pendant last chapter to give him some semblance of getting his wish.
So next chapter he will finally be able to gain some closure and release grandpa motou from his card based prison.
But with that in mind,what rewards should I give Jonah for doing these things?
I'm thinking for helping get grandpa motou released early,he gets a new skill that gives him Joey levels of luck when it comes to dueling.
As for helping Pegasus read it's with his wife(albeit spiritually),he gets twenty percent of both industrial illusions and Kaiba corp stocks.
