20 Chapter 18

-- Ra Yellow Dorm --

As soon as I entered my dorm room I took out my deck box, and pulled out a card out of it. "Are you here, Jinzo?" I said and the spirit of Jinzo appeared in front of me.

"Hello Master," he said, catching me by surprise when he called me 'Master'.

"You know, you don't have to call me that," I said, as it kinda felt strange being called master by someone that looks like Jada Smith on an Oscar Night.

— Omake (Our World), General POV —

Out of nowhere Will Smith smashes through the door, he walks up to the Author of this story and bitch slaps him in the face before walking to his seat.

"Keep mah wife's name, out of ya fucking story!" Will shouts. And then author rubs his cheek and shouts back,

"Keep August's Dick, out of ya wife,"

"Oh I'mma fuck ya up!"

And then Will Smith rushes back to our Author and beats the crap out of him. Due to the injuries he suffered, there won't be a chapter tomorrow.

Blame Will Smith.

— Back In Duel Academy, Konami's POV —

"We are partners after all, not master and servant." I said

"Very well, partner." He said with a grin on his face. "Then may I ask you a question?"

"Sure, I actually have a couple of questions myself," I said and Jinzo nods his head "You go first,"

"You appeared in the Power Transmission Area at the same time I did. How did you know I was gonna go there?" he asks with a raised eyebrow

I sighed, I did not want to share my origin with him, at least not this soon, but I suppose I need to trust him, he is my partner from now on. "Tree," I said and my favorite Frog appeared, "This is my biggest secret, and Tree here is a good judge of character, if he thinks I can trust you with this information, I'll tell you," I said and Jinzo nods his head as Tree stares at him for a moment, it felt like they had a silent, then Tree turns to me

"Ribbit Ribbit!" he says as he nods his head, I smiled, so I can trust Jinzo… good.

"To be honest Jinzo, I am not from around here," I said

"Hn," he says as he gestures with his hand for me to continue,

"I am not from this world," I told him and his red eyes shone for a brief second, "One day I woke up, in a body that looked the same as mine, except younger. Not only that, in my world, Duel Monsters is just a normal card game, nothing special,"

"Could you please elaborate," Duel Spirit said

"There are no Duel Spirits, nor holographic projectors that make the game so realistic. Therefore it is not even a fraction as popular as it is here," I told him,

"I see… That is strange, but not unheard of, I have heard stories of humans crossing dimensions," He did? I should ask more about that later on, "But that still doesn't explain how you knew I was gonna appear in the Power Transmission Facility,"

"That's where things get a little bit more complicated, my world had a view to this world, and therefore I know about some of the events that is to come, one of whom was your appearance tonight," I said "And one of the reasons why I wanted to recruit you is because of the threats that are about to come,"

"What are they?" he asks

"Shadow Duelists with mimicry Millenium Items, and Experimental Divine-Beasts are what I expect to come this year alone" I told him, "And after that, it is only gonna get more dangerous,"

"How dangerous?" he asks

"I… Don't know," I said with a sigh, it was a tough question, "I assume at least Planetary, and at most… Universal Threat. Hard to believe, I know,"

"Did you know one of my abilities is to detect someone lying?" he said, which kinda made sense, lying is a form of 'trap' after all.

I laughed lightly, "Did you know until we dueled, and I ACTUALLY felt the pain from damage, the dangers of this world seemed alien to me, as if it did not exist, as if it was… fiction," I then stopped laughing and looked at him, "I need to be better prepared, to be ready for threats to come, and for that, I need allies, more Spirit Partners,"

"Hm… And you want to know if I could recruit other spirits," he said and I nod my head, "I can cross into the Spirit World with ease, however, finding a specific Spirit could take time, and convincing them to join us might be more complicated,"

"The Shadow Duelist shouldn't appear for at least three months," I told him as inter-school match was scheduled to be on the 1st of March,

"Is there a specific Spirit you wish to recruit?"

"Well… Do you happen to know any of the Monarchs?"

-- After Winter Break, Obelisk Blue Boys Dorm --

"Signore Konami!" A tall, blond haired man with a large Adam's Apple said with a creepy smile on his face. "It is my pleasure to welcome you into the Elites of the Academy, to the Obelisk Blue!" he said as he rubbed his hands together and came a little too close to my face

"Thank you very much Doctor Crowler," I said with a slightly strained smile on my face. I did not like the idea of sleeping at the same place as this guy, but being in Obelisk offered way too many boons.

"A No Ne, Why don't you follow me, I have already announced your transfer to MY other Blues and it will be PERFECTO if I now show you the advantages we, in the Central Duel Academy provide to the Elites!" he said and I nodded my head.

"PERFECTO!" He said as he pulled me by the arm as he showed me various areas, the cafeteria was as large as the entire Red Dorm, a large library, a top of the line Gym with a a professional trainer to help students who wished to train, squash courts, an indoor pool, and every student had a computer as well as a TV in their room. The food slightly lacked in comparison to Ra Yellow Dorm, as it was tailored towards 'high society' types.

But those did not matter. What made being in Obelisk Blue truly special is not the dorm, or the supposed 'privilege of being elite', it is the Priority Order the card shop provides. That is the main reason I wanted to join them… well, that and to ditch baseball for swimming class with Obelisk Girls.

Anyway…

Priority Order allows Obelisk students to order cards that are not yet available in the card shops affiliated with the academy, and get them as soon as they appear in any one of them, ship them on the next Friday.

For example, I already ordered Night Assailant, Confiscation, Card of Sanctuary, Graceful Charity, and Mirror Force through this method. I doubt I would get a Card of Sanctuary, as that card has not been printed since the days of Battle City, and is extremely rare, but the other cards circulate through card shops quite often, so I should get them within a month.

"Well Signore Konami! What do you think?" Crowler asked after our tour came to an end, and I couldn't help but smile.

"I think I am gonna like it here."
