12 Chapter 11 | Duel on the Lake.

Standing atop of two boats in the middle of the lake, where Alexis Rhodes and Illumi

''Ready?'' asked Alexis.

''As I'll ever be.'' replied Illumi.

''Duel!'' They said in unison as they drew their cards.

[Turn 1]

''Let see... Etoile Cyber, rise! and I'm also going to play two cards, face down.'' Alexis said and as she did a blue brown haired women emerged from the card while spinning. As it slowed the loose bandages around her arms and red clothes on her body became apparent.

Etoile Cyber - Warrior/Earth/Effect: 1200/1600

[Turn 2]

''My turn, Draw!'' Said Illumi as he drew a card and quickly formed a strategy using his hand.

''First, I'll summon Chamber Dragonmaid in face up defense mode.'' Illumi said playing a card.

Suddenly a familiar beautiful girl in a maid outfit with large black horns protruding from her white hair and a dragon's tail following behind her, emerged from a card.

Chamber Dragonmaid - Dragon/Dark/Effect: 500/1800

''If you watched my exam duel, you'll now about it's special ability, which allows me to add anyone Dragonmaid spell or trap card from my deck to my hand. I'll chose, Dragonmaid Changeover!'' Illumi said as he added a card to his hand.

''And I'll activate it now!'' Illumi said but Alexis smirked as if she was expecting it.

''Not so fast! I activate my Mystical Space Typhoon!'' Alexis shouted and Illumi's Dragonmaid Changeover shattered as quick as it appeared on the field.

''Tsk.'' Illumi clicked his tongue.

''that strategy won't work on me! You're going to have to try harder than that!'' Alexis said with a confident face but Illumi didn't react.

''In that case... I activate Dragonmaid Welcome!'' Illumi stated

Chamber Dragonmaid - Dragon/Dark/Effect: 600/1900

''I'll also set 2 cards and end my turn.'' Illumi finished as he played three cards in the spell/trap zone, 1 of them face up and the other 2 face down.

[Turn 3]

''My turn!'' Alexis said, drawing a new card.

''First, I'll sacrifice Etoile Cyber to summon my Cyber Prima!'' Alexis said as she tribute summoned her Cyber Prima.

Taking Etoile Cyber's place was a masked white haired ballerina, who had 2 golden rings around her waist.

Cyber Prima - Warrior/Light/Effect: 2300/1600

''And my Cyber Prima's ability activates. Since it was tribute summoned, I can destroy all your face-up spell cards.'' Alexis said as her Cyber Prima performed an elegant movement destroying Dragonmaid Welcome.

''Now Cyber Prima, go! Cabriole Kick!'' Alexis shouted as her Cyber Prima rushed towards the Chamber Dragonmaid who had her hands atop each other, standing in a maid like fashion.

As the Cyber Prima reached her, she kicked Chamber Dragon sending her flying back. While being knocked away, Chamber Dragonmaid let-out a small sound as she was sent to the graveyard.

''Now I'll set one card and end my turn, your move.'' Alexis said with a slightly cocky tone.

[Turn 4]

''Sorry to say, but that was your one and only chance.'' Illumi said as he drew a card.

''First, I'll play Laundry Dragonmaid in defense mode!'' Illumi said as a short blue haired Dragonmaid appeared on his field.

The new Dragonmaid had a long fuzzy blue tail as well as branch like horns on her head. She wore a more eastern style maid attire with a white apron atop of it, she also wore blue fingerless gloves with matching rubber boots.

As she was summoned, the smoll Dragonmaid looked confused as she put down a large laundry basket, from god knows where.

''Now my Laundry Dragonmaid's ability activates, sending the top 3 cards of my deck to the graveyard!'' Illumi said sending 3 cards to the graveyard.

''That's not gonna help against my Cyber Prima.'' Alexis pointed out but Illumi smirked.

''Maybe not Laundry Dragonmaid's ability, but Laundry Dragonmaid herself sure will!'' Illumi said as he showed a card from his hand.

''I activate Polymerization!'' Illumi said and Alexis's brow twitched at the memory of a black dragon Illumi had summoned during the examination.

''I fuse Laundry Dragonmaid and Serpent Night Dragon to summon Dragonmaid Sheou!'' Illumi exclaimed with a smirk as he watched Alexis's expression start to crumble.

Almost as if commanded to a giant black dragon with a white underbelly appeared on the field. With a roar it greeted the field as it's majestic and elegant main swayed like a white flame along it's spine.

Dragonmaid Sheou - Dragon/Light/Effect: 3500/2000

''Now attack Sheou! Destroy that Wannabe ballerina!'' Illumi commanded and the dragon rushed towards Cyber Prima.

''Not so fast! I activate Doble Passe-'' Alexis said huridly with a slightly panicked face.

''Sorry, not sorry, I activate my face down card!'' Illumi cut her off as he activated one of his cards, that had been face down since his last turn.

''My Seven Tools of the Bandit allows me to negate a trap at the cost of 1000LP.'' Illumi said and Alexis gritted her jaw in slight panic.

''Now, one more time Sheou!'' Illumi said, having his monster attack once more.

As the Dragonmaid rushed towards Cyber Prisma, it opened it's jaw and ripped it apart, with a scream the Cyber Prisma was destroyed and sent to the graveyard.

''Urg!'' Alexis gritted as she directly took the excess damage.

[Turn 5]

''I'm not out yet...'' Alexis grunted.

''I activate Sheou's ability, to summon out Dragonmaid Nudyarl from my graveyard.'' Illumi said.

Out of the water, came a long blue dragon with a familiar fluffy tail and tree branch-like horns.

Dragonmaid Nudyarl - Dragon/Water/Effect: 2600/1600

''Remember when Laundry Dragonmaid sent 3 cards to my graveyard? Not such a bad ability anymore, right?'' he said as if to rub salt into the wound, however Alexis was undeterred.

''I summon Cyber Petit Angel! With it's effect, I can add a Cyber Angel ritual monster to my hand!'' Alexis said as she added a cyber angel card to her hand.

''Now I'll play the spell card The Warrior Returning Alive to add Cyber Prima to my hand, but it won't stay for long. I activate Machine Angel Ritual, to summon Cyber Angel Dakini! Alexis finished as she brought out a new monster.

Suddenly in a flash of light, a women's silhouette appeared, but as it was revealed a blue, four armed women, wearing a yellow chest plate and holding two swords and a staff appeared on the field.

Cyber Angel Dakini - Fiary/Light/Ritual/Effect: 2700/2400

''Now since I summoned my Dakini, you're Dragonmaid Sheou gets sent to the graveyard!'' Alexis finished but Illumi was already prepared for it.

''I wouldn't get a head of myself, I activate Sheou's affect!'' Illumi shouted.

''What!?'' Alexis exclaimed.

''I didn't show this in my exam dule, now did I? By sending Sheou back to my extra deck, I can negate your card's affect and destroy it!'' Illumi explained.

''It doesn't matter you still lost your strongest monster!'' Alexis replied with a slightly strained expression.

''Oh did I? You see Dragonmaid Sheou doesn't just leave the field, she just transforms into her other form, come out House Dragonmaid!'' Illumi retorted with a confident expression.

As he did the giant black dragon started to glow and shrink into the size of a human, with a burst of light, the transformation was complete.

Now instead of a menacing black dragon, stood an elegant and graceful maid. The maid sported round rimless glasses and a Victorian era-styled maid outfit. She also had black hair with noticeable black and red tipped horns protruding out. Another noticeable feature we're the giant tail behind her and the little wings resting along her waist.

House Dragonmaid - Dragon/Light/Fusion/Effect: 3000/2000

''3000 attack points...'' Alexis mused over the new monster/maid.

''It's still your turn, any moves?'' Asked Illumi with a cocky grin.

''I set one card face down and end my turn...'' Alexis said with a grunt.

[Turn 6]

''My turn, draw!''

First, I activate, House Dragonmaid's ability. Like her dragon form, she can call on other Dragonmaids, come Chamber Dragonmaid!'' Illumi said as the white hair Dragonmaid returned to the field.

''Of course you already know Chambers ability, so I use it to bring out Dragonmaid Downtime and set it right away.''

''Now let's end this! Attack House Dragonmaid-'' Illumi shouted, but Alexis interrupted him.

''I activate Hallowed Life Barrier, by sending a card to the graveyard, I don't take any damage this turn.'' Alexis countered and sighed in relief as she barely saved her self.

''Fine then, I end my turn.'' Illumi said as he allowed Alexis to play.

[Turn 7]

''Draw!'' Said Alexis as she looked at her card and tried to formulate some strategy or combination.

''I set one card and summon Blade Skater in defense mode.'' Alexis said and ended her turn.

[Turn 8]

'''Let's finish this shall we?'' Illumi asked as he drew a card.

''First I activate Dragonmaid Downtime and by returning Chamber Dragonmaid to my hand, I can return the card you just set back into your hand.'' Illumi said, returning Alexis's card back to her hand.

''But I'm not done yet, House Dragonmaid's affect activates! Since a Dragonmaid was returned to my hand, I can destroy one of your monsters, you know what that means.'' Illumi added and Alexis's eyes widened in shock as her entire field was nearly cleared in one turn.

''Now finish this! Go House Dragonmaid!'' Illumi shouted as his monster attacked.

''uh!'' Alexis grunted as the last of her life point fell to 0.

''That's game.'' Illumi added as the duel ended.
