04 Twin Yang Donors

Wen Shi sucked her breath and opted for [Yes] with great reluctance.

"You fucking system just you wait! I'll definitely get to the bottom of this once I manage to ascend!"

She gritted with each word coming off her lips carrying heavy malice. Very soon the axe on her shaking hand disappeared from thin air.

In the next moment, a glaring green light enveloped the unconscious man's figure and slowly mended his injuries.

With one last piercing look, Wen Shi viciously snorted and proceeded to aid her own aching body.

Huu~

Inside the rundown mansion, with nearly falling-off roof tiles devoid of any decent furniture, Wen Shi tilted her head with a deep scowl on her small face.

She was still reeling in skepticism despite the days that passed.

How can she not when she finds herself staring at two identical faces? Their striking features were barely concealed by their worn-out attire.

Feeling conned, Wen Shi couldn't help but feel overwhelmed whenever her sight caught them.

Three days had passed since she found herself in this unfamiliar domain called Gehenna—a Godless Realm.

Though it was plagued with monstrous and powerful beings, it lacked the presence of a True God, earning it a monicker of the Land of the Damned.

In this universe, it was akin to a prison world. Where the most notorious figures were banished. Knowing this much, Wen Shi became hopeful in finding what she had been looking for.

To be precise, they are in the lowest realm of this world since the entirety of it was divided into three domains: Lower Gehenna, Middle Gehenna, and Great Gehenna.

In any case, she decided to focus on learning about this world, instead of getting upset from the recent days, a period she would rather forget.

Lest the memory stir up her desire to strangle Shi Yifang once more.

[That audacious scoundrel! What 'yang donor'? It's just a euphemism for a sperm donor! Such damn theatrics, I dare him to do it again, or else I'll really cut down his future generation's lifeline for real this time.]

Wen Shi glared but she didn't know who to cast it on this time which made her all the more annoyed.

Among the two identical figures, Wen Shi was at a loss as to which one was the infuriating Shi Yifang.

She had been studying them intently, yet their similarities were uncannily perfect that she felt as though it was deliberately made.

[Just because you're twins doesn't mean you have to do things exactly the same even your clothes and hair are dubiously matching! So annoying.]

Wen Shi let out a deep breath and shook her head disapprovingly.

What a mess.

Then again, could it be that her facial recognition skills were simply subpar?

"Err.."

Wen Shi held her throbbing temple.

She had never been one to pay much attention to people since they all just fight and die, so this shortcoming had never been an issue.

But now, the circumstances were different.

"Cease your incessant staring, or I'll gouge out both your eyes," she warned, as the two men continued to keep a vigilant watch over her, refusing to let her venture beyond the confines of her room.

It's anything but comfortable.

The two quickly averted their eyes but they didn't move an inch from their spots. Guarding her like stone statues of gargoyle ready to transform anytime she would make a move.

Though they looked concerned and had things they probably wanted to say, both decided against it.

[How vexing! With these two on my tail, I can't even get out and roam around to scan my surroundings better. But forcing them to stand down before going off by myself would only arouse suspicion. I cannot allow that to happen and endanger my life when I haven't made any remarkable findings in this world.]

The ticket to come here cost her a lot! There's no way she'll waste it.

And speaking of room.

Wen Shi's face instantly turned gloomy.

[This room is so cramped and run-down. How on earth did the original Wen Shi manage to ensnare two tall and lean young men to live with her?]

Her brows arched and knotted fiercely into a deep frown. She couldn't understand why they would submit themselves to such a fate when there are better options to make.

If anything, they can just live independently without a female.

[What complicated creatures.]

Wen Shi clucked her tongue and eyed the two oblivious males disapprovingly.

[Wait, was it really just these two? I didn't even have any lover before this but now I have to take care of two men?!]

She choked out in revilement and pure unwillingness.

[These Yang donors... Do I... do I have to do it with these rogues?]

Stiffened, her face contorted to an alarming extent that made the two almost jump on her worried.

"Shi Shi, what's wrong?"

"Ah Shi, are you hurt?"

The two cry in unison. However, their next words made a pair of worried lads stop and glance at each other, terribly shocked and perturbed.

"Are you famished? I'll cook something for... you—"

"Is your lower half still throbbing? Let me take a good look and massage it—"

Coughs!

Wen Shi almost choked to death in her saliva after hearing a certain bastard's straightforward question.

[Shi! Yi! Fang!]

Wen Shi recoiled at his bluntness, her eyes popped like a goldfish out of the river, even with her lips tightly pressed into a thin line they still unmistakenly quivered.

To hear such words spoken openly left her stunned, and vulnerable. Her heart pounded uncomfortably inside her chest for an unknown daunting reason.

[This is pure rage. I swear! Bastard, have you had no shame?]

Damn this Shi Yifang and his foul mouth!

She should have silenced him when she had the chance. No, she should have castrated him to make an example.

Cocking her head, she shot dagger-like glares at Shi Yifang, silently warning him to shut his trap.

But to her dismay, that shameless man merely stared back. Those unnecessary captivating dark eyes sporting his innocent and unyielding gaze met hers.

Wen Shi was stumped for a second but her surprise soon left her baffled making her want to throw a punch and erase that annoying smile he was proudly displaying.

"Why, you—"

Her frustration bubbled over, and she stomped her feet like an upset child, wronged and unjustified.

Yet, she remained reluctantly still, unable to retaliate physically after recalling the system's sanction.

[Damn it. This pisses me off!]

This isn't her style at all to be feigning lenience and tolerating mischief but what can she do aside from sucking it all up?

Knowing the grave consequence, Wen Shi was forced to swallow her indignation. Shamefully devolving herself into all bark with a no-bite person.

Meanwhile, Yuheng who was momentarily stunned by the news quickly regained his composure, and broke the brittle silence, diffusing the tension between her and Yifang.

Though only to change it into another issue he was most eager to know about.

"Ah Fang, what do you mean by that?"

Shi Yuheng's face darkened while questioning what had just came out from his brother's lips.

"Is your lower half still throbbing?"

"Let me take a good look and massage it...?"

Shi Yifang's voice echoed in his mind, stressing every word he could hardly welcome.

He forcefully down a mouthful of breath to calm his frayed nerves.

A mix of sadness and accusation was etched on his icy features as he glanced in the girl's direction.

[Did you... do it while I'm gone frantically looking for a cure?]

To say that he felt a pang of betrayal wasn't enough to describe the heaviness in his heart.

[Am I not also your companion...?]
