Unfair
Last night, after Ciel arrived in her dormitory room, the two stayed huddled together. It was only after Kate regained her composure that she noticed the boy in her arms was fast asleep. She had to switch with Stella in order to carry Ciel over to her bed.
The thunderstorm raged for more than an hour. During that time, Kate used Ciel as a hug pillow to calm her trembling body. After the storm ended, Kate was mentally exhausted. She fell asleep while holding the most important person in the world in a gentle embrace.
The hours passed by and morning finally came.
In the quiet room, the breathing of two sleeping children sounded softly. Sunlight peeked through the window and caressed their faces, and yet, they still remained in deep sleep.
