Till Death Do Us Part
Kate was alone inside her room in the girl's dormitory. Chloe said that she would go home to visit her mommy, while Ciel said that he had to go somewhere important. When Kate asked if she could tag along with Ciel, the boy flicked her forehead and told her to mind her own business.
Feeling aggrieved, Kate decided to pinch his cheeks. Surprisingly, Ciel didn't resist and allowed her to have her way. For some reason, there was a sense of resignation in the boy's demeanor. Kate didn't know why, but she felt her heart ache when he saw Ciel's expression.
An hour later, Ciel and Chloe left together. He was going to drop the twins off at their residence before going somewhere on his own. Heinz was not with him, so he hailed a taxi as a means of transportation.
'Stella, there is this weird ache in my heart," Kate said as she hugged her pillow. Since it was the weekend and there was no school, she decided to laze around.
