"It's my first time coming here inside this maze," Sheila admitted.
"What a coincidence. This is also my first time," Jean hurriedly replied.
"You've never challenged it before?"
"Never."
"So that explains why both of us are stuck here." Sheila giggled. "If I only knew that this was going to happen, I should have dragged a few of my friends with me."
'I'm glad you didn't,' Jean thought as he smiled.
The two children decided to stay in the clearing and wait for rescue. They knew that going around in circles would just tire them out and decrease their morale. It was Sheila who decided to break the stalemate and took the initiative to start a conversation.
Her soft and sweet voice made Jean made all his anxiety go away. In time, the two children were having a good time chatting to each other, and they completely forgot the dilemma they were in.
