"What do you mean we lost contact with the experimental subjects?" Isaac asked the men who were currently monitoring the position of the fiends through their tracking devices.
"S-Sir, the signal stopped working not long after the fiends arrived at the drop site," the subordinate stuttered. "Sir, I swear that almost all of the devices stopped working at the same time. This is the first time we've experienced this phenomenon."
As the commanding officer, Isaac was the one responsible for the operation. Any mishap would reflect badly on his performance.
"Contact the retrieval team in the nearby port," Isaac ordered. "Tell them to find the experimental subjects as soon as possible. I give them full authorization to use whatever method they have at their disposal."
"Sir, Yes Sir!"
