Aftermath
"Let me get this straight," Andrea said in a tone that made Heinz want to scratch a blackboard with his nails. "My son foresaw this in a vision and collaborated with you in order to catch this "unknown group" in a dragnet, correct?"
"Yes," Heinz replied with his head lowered.
"Assault, Infiltration, and Mystic were all there, right?"
"Yes."
"Since that was the case…," Andrea's face distorted in anger, "then why didn't you manage to bring my baby back to me?!"
Andrea slammed her hand on the armchair. After the operation ended, Heinz immediately went to see Andrea to report everything that had transpired. Keeping this a secret from Ciel's mother was an option, but Heinz knew that he could never do it.
Heinz would rather face Andrea's wrath than betray her trust. He watched her grow up and, to him, Andrea was like a daughter and Ciel like his own grandson. Lazarus made the necessary preparations, but the opponent was a step ahead of them.
