339 A Hornet’s Nest

When Ciel opened his eyes, it was still dark outside the window. It was very rare for Ciel to wake up this early. Even he was confused why he woke up in such an hour. It was then that he felt a weight on his left shoulder.

As he turned his head to look, he found Jean resting his head on his shoulder, using it as a pillow. The boy's long, and strong, arms were wrapped around Ciel's waist holding him in place.

Ciel didn't think much about this since Kate and Chloe would usually do the same as well. He just thought that Jean had unconsciously moved to his side in the middle of the night and thought of him as a fluffy pillow.

For some reason, Ciel felt a little tired. As his gaze turned to Jean's handsome face, he noticed something red at the corner of the boy's lips. He lightly wiped it away with his fingers and it came off easily.
