Chapter 122

The room filled with silence and is dark, under the bright lamp, only sounds of a pencil lead friction against the paper. After the private banquet had ended, Kim Yeol brought her back to their base. Zhou Qin Yang was exhausted and slightly tipsy after having so much alcohol but she hid it well to not let Kim Yeol take advantage of it.

As soon as she arrived back into her room, she took a warm bath. Zhou Qin Yang who is originally exhausted became awake because of the warm water. She decided to stay up a bit longer to enjoy the silent night, grabbing the leftover paper and pencil on the table next to the bed, she begin to draw.

Her silence didn't last long till someone interrupts it with a few knocks on the door which startled her. Zhou Qin Yang turn her head to the door " Yes? Come in "

" Miss Zhou, master says he wants to see you now. " a gentle voice from the other side spoke up. Zhou Qi Yang frown hearing those words, why would he want to me her this late at night. ' Did he found out what I did? ' she bits her fingernails. Or does he want to do something towards her?

Lucy heard no reply, she spoke a bit louder " Miss Zhou, did you hear me? "

Zhou Qin Yang snaps out of her thoughts, she quickly place her pencil and paper down " Yes, I heard you. Hold on, let me get out of bed "

Zhou Qin Yang swiftly hops out of bed and put on her slippers, she shuffle towards the door and open it. Lucy stood there and bow to greet her, she then leads Zhou Qin Yang to Kim Yeol's office room.

When she open the door, Kim Yeol had a dagger in his hand. He skilfully plays it with his fingers, he noticed Zhou Qin Yang had arrived. He took the dagger and stabs it on his wooden table with a loud bam which startle Zhou Qin Yang. Kim Yeol signals Lucy to leave the room and look at Zhou Qin Yang in the eye, he smug " Why do you look like you did something wrong?"

Zhou Qin Yang take a deep breath, ' He might not know what I did. I must pretend I don't know what is he talking about'

" Why did you call me here? It's late. "

" Oh.. you are awake as well, little lamb. So I thought you needed so company "

" Well you are mistaken. I don't " she shot back.

Kim Yeol's fingers touch the knife's blade " Hmm... I will deal with your wild attitude someday but now you have to complete a mission "

Zhou Qin Yang frowns " Mission? In case you have forgotten, I am not part of your gang anymore so I am not oblige to listen to your orders "

In a split second, a quick wind flew pass Zhou Qin Yang's cheek. Zhou Qin Yang's eyes widen in shock, the dagger that was originally on the table now behind her on the wall. He had thrown it to threaten her, with bloodlust eyes looking into hers making her feel a shiver down her spine " In case you have forgotten, Miss Zhou. TO leave my clan, blood must be shed "

Kim Yeol's action earlier had cause a light cut on Zhou Qin Yang's pale cheek, small drops of blood flood down her cheek. He stood up and walk towards her, he uses his thumb to wipe the blood away and licks " And this much blood wouldn't be enough "

Zhou Qin Yang knows clearly, to leave this place means you have to die. It's either you stay and fulfil your responsibility or end your life. She looks away from Kim Yeol, he smiles knowing she understand his meaning " Good. That's the little lamb I know. "

He walks behind her and takes the dagger out of the wall " If you want leave that badly, I can suggest something that will benefit both of us. " Zhou Qin Yang only reply him with a silent stare to the ground.
