Chapter 248: Can We Meet?
By the time it was Eddie's turn to audition, she had already read a fair amount of the novel. It had given her a sense of Sally's personality. When she heard the staff call her name, she put down the book and opened the door of the audition room.
The director of Dynasty Elegy wasn't there. There was a group and men and women in the room. Eddie was a little disappointed because she thought the novelist, Yolanda, would have been there to see the auditions take place.
As soon as Eddie entered, she stopped in front of the crowd and bowed. The assistant director looked at her up and down and seemed satisfied with her appearance. Then he said something unnecessary, "Did you finish reading the audition scripts?"
Eddie nodded excitedly, "Yes, I did."
"Then you can know that you are playing the part of Yvonne. This is the scene where she says goodbye to her parents before entering the palace. No one is acting with you."
