Anna talked about the past events of Stuart and her. The more she spoke, the happier she became as if she had found a sense of superiority. Eddie just sat there, smiled, listened intently, and responded with a few words.
Anna looked at Eddie and saw her glaring at her. Anna's face went blank for a second in agitation, and she was unable to speak. Eddie saw the expression on her face, she smiled and said, "Why don't you tell me some more. I want to know all there is about my husband. After all, I missed his past. Now, I can have his future, but it's not enough. I can't wait until we go to Europe and tour the place where he grew up."
Anna didn't know what to say after all Eddie was right. She was the one who had a future with Stuart, and all Anna had was his past. What Eddie was saying was the truth, and she could not refute. The only thing Anna had to rely on was the past.
