You and Me.

Levi is a hitman, an assassin really. And a rich one for that matter. He is cold, calculating, blunt and detached from society. Simone on the other hand is a 22 year old orphaned collage dropout who has four siblings to fend for. They meet in an unlikely manner at the city market after Levi completes one of his jobs and in an unlikely turn of events, he ends up needing her help, he doesn't want it though, he just happens to be inconvenienced. They find themselves in an interesting situation, however, living as some sort of dysfunctional family. It's not an ideal scene for any of them, but something intangible prompts Levi to stay.

My blood ran cold as Simone's screams filled the air. I just wanted to get to her so bad but my mom held me back, reminding me that we had to take out all the others first. I inhaled and nodded as I held my gun firmly in my hands.

My mom shut her eyes and exhaled as Simone screamed again, her voice snapping. I was shaking with unbridled fury at that point. My mom gave the signal and I spent no time in turning the corner and shooting five guards in the center of their heads. Silencers were so useful.

My mom had calmed me down at home after 20 minutes and said she was coming with me. We weren't going to give up on Simone just like that. Mom just had to do some planning and we were off.

I updated her sisters and gave Raven a gun to keep on herself at all times if i wasn't home. I knew it wasn't right, or fair to drag innocents into the darkness of my world like that, but I just had to.
