You and Me.

Levi is a hitman, an assassin really. And a rich one for that matter. He is cold, calculating, blunt and detached from society. Simone on the other hand is a 22 year old orphaned collage dropout who has four siblings to fend for. They meet in an unlikely manner at the city market after Levi completes one of his jobs and in an unlikely turn of events, he ends up needing her help, he doesn't want it though, he just happens to be inconvenienced. They find themselves in an interesting situation, however, living as some sort of dysfunctional family. It's not an ideal scene for any of them, but something intangible prompts Levi to stay.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Snore. Beep. Inhale. Snore. Beep. Exhale. Beep. Snore. Beep. Inhale. Beep. Open eyes. Bright light. Beep. Close eyes. Snore. Beep. My name was Simone. That just came to me.

I squinted my eyes as I registered the random sounds around me. Beeping. Snoring. Me breathing. I turned my head. A heart monitor. Both my eyes were open. That's a first. I was in a white bright room. Everything was so bright.

I continued breathing as I started to process things. My head hurt. But not too much. I was listening to the sound of my breathing, my chest rising and steadily falling. Then the pain registered. I shut my eyes tight as it all just hurt. I felt like I'd been hit by a truck.
