You and Me.

Levi is a hitman, an assassin really. And a rich one for that matter. He is cold, calculating, blunt and detached from society. Simone on the other hand is a 22 year old orphaned collage dropout who has four siblings to fend for. They meet in an unlikely manner at the city market after Levi completes one of his jobs and in an unlikely turn of events, he ends up needing her help, he doesn't want it though, he just happens to be inconvenienced. They find themselves in an interesting situation, however, living as some sort of dysfunctional family. It's not an ideal scene for any of them, but something intangible prompts Levi to stay.

I had known for a while that Simone was being followed. I didn't want her to get beaten up. I just assumed she would rat me out in a blind panic and be kidnapped but instead she just got hit repeatedly and refused to rat me out. Yes. I did kill the guy but I was still fuming.

I picked up Simone's sisters from school. They were safe. It had just been Simone being targeted. I still couldn't shake the pit of rage in my gut.

I should have tortured that guy, made him suffer and beg for his life. I inhaled and stilled my thoughts, it was crazy how Simone made me want to seriously harm anyone that as much a laid a finger on her.

I was in deep shit because I was falling hard for a girl I knew I couldn't have.
