"Hello?" A clear voice rang out.

Yun Xie was shaken out of his cheesy thoughts, once again directing his attention to the old man and child.

Well, he knew they were not an ordinary duo, his Sharingan telling him that.

Yun Xie knew that they did not mean any harm, so he deactivated his Sharingan out of their view and turned back smiling.

"I needed a little money…. Desperate times…. So I sort of….. Killed all of them...?" Yun Xie held up his now stuffed pouch, which jingled with coins.

Li Qi Ye looked at the man in front of them. A complete mortal, easily dealing with a few cultivators. Though they were low-level trash, it was still pretty impressive. With no injuries to boot either.

"Hello, the name is Li Qi Ye." He nodded back, smiling.

Yun Xie froze, for a split second, before going back to his carefree attitude.

"What about you old man?" He looked in the direction of the old geezer, who he remembered was a bigshot from a previous era, San Gui Ye was the name he was going by at the moment

"San Gui Ye, kid." The old man flashed his three golden teeth.

Yun Xie stretched a little, brushing some blood off his shoulder. It really was them….. The plot was starting now…

Yun Xie scanned the area, as he was sort of lost. Thank god for observation abilities in anime and manga….

"I have nothing better to do, so can I follow you guys?" Yun Xie stood there awkwardly.

Li Qi Ye narrowed his eyes a little. This kid did not mean any harm, but he was sort of suspicious.

"Don't worry I won't do anything. Just curious, as you two seem like quite the interesting lot…." Yun Xie smiled. Carefree and lazy were the words that Li Qi Ye would use to describe him.

They silently made their way down the road, which Yun Xie took as acceptance. His blood was boiling, Li Qi Ye, the Dark Crow was quite the fun guy to have as an ally and friend. Well, if Qi Ye would even be his friend.

Yun Xie began talking of trivial matters with the Old man, who happily replied.

The road soon became less rough, and a little less broken, so Yun Xie knew that they were nearing the sect.

As they walked over a hill, Li Qi Ye took something from San Gui Ye, nodding.

San Gui Ye handed the Crow a small ancient-looking plaque, which contained a few words on it.

'This must be the Cleansing Incense Ancient Order' Yun Xie looked at it, not much was described of it in the novel, besides it being an Order, and created by Li Qi Ye.

He had thought it would be more like a medal, as usually "Orders" seen in other forms of literature were like necklaces or badges.

Looking up, Yun Xie smiled. In all his time in this wonderful world, he had only seen a few Incense Sect disciples, but now, he could see the very sect that the Immortal Emperor Min Ren created.

Though it was in decline, to a mere mortal such as him, this was still pretty awe-inspiring.

Giant peaks, stretched out from the ground, with many buildings topping them. Majestic gates and buildings adorned the sides of the peaks and many stretching paths winded about.

At the front gate, which was towering and majestic, it read, "Cleansing Incense Ancient Sect".

Finally, Yun Xie was on his first step into this plain, which he may regret in the future, but there were also a lot of good benefits to it too. Flying on swords with fellow disciples, climbing peaks, fighting giant monsters, it seemed a lot better than beating up a bunch of plebian cultivators.

Well, he would actually have to get into the sect first, so, having experienced this world's cultivators before, even if they were canon fodder, some face slapping would probably be involved...

"Halt! What do you want!" One of the disciples arrogantly proclaimed, pointing a long spear at them.

San Gui Ye smiled, and ran off, leaving the two mortals in front of the gates.
