Chapter 1: Your a Vampire

I wonder how much time has pass since I seen her face. 2 years? 4 years? why come back. Why go and try to hurt me more, my face starts to scrunch up in anger at her. But she just looks at me with sad and hurt eyes. Seeing this happen, I start to calm down. She is my mom and it still pains me to see her hurt.

I sit down on a chair next to the kitchen table, she does the same. I stay quite not saying a word, if she came here after so long. She must be the one that has something to say.

"How have you been." She says

...

That's it? Just how have I been? SHE LEAVES ME FOR SO LONG AND HAS THE NERVE TO SAY HOW HAVE I BEEN!? My mom seeing my face makes her change the topic quickly.

"Sorry I shouldn't have ask that question..... I know you don't want me to be here so I will just get to the point." She stands up while saying so. "Follow me."

She starts to walk to her room I start to wonder why should would take me to her room? I mean there is nothing there.

She opens the door and heads inside and she tells me to sit down on the bed

"I will be back in a little bit." she quietly said

She disappears into her closet, and comes back out with a katana in hand. But it looks different then any katana I ever seen.

"What is that." I say

"Its your father's sword."

What? My father's?

She hands it to me and I inspect it. The sword looks chipped and bended, like it's been used for a long time without rest. The handle's cloth has been worn out and has started to dangle, and the color of the blade is black while the guard on top of the handle is white.

But the blade's black color doesn't mask the faint red marks that can been seen.

I look at mom and she starts to speak.

"This sword is the secret of the Aoi family." "It has been passed down from gen to gen."

Explains the sword being in such shape.

"But the way the sword looks now may not look the same when you learn to wield it.

As she says that line, I look at the sword again

"and it's finally time you what the Aoi family is."

She gets up and stands in front of me

"Mitchi, that sword will now be yours and only yours learn to use it and understand how it feels through out your journey. The sword will symbolize the torch that is being passed down once again, and now its your turn to use it Mitchi! You shall become a Vampire and fulfill these goals!

1. "Never give!"

2. "Always keep your promise!"

3. "Never use the sword for sin!"

And 4. "....."

All of a sudden the room starts to glow a pinkish and purplish color items start to move and hover.

"Don't forget how much me and your father love you."

As she says this her eyes tear up and her mouth starts to curl into a sad smile. And the room
